Saying Tommy and his family are incredible would be an understatement! This is the ONLY nail salon I've ever been to where they take your appointment time seriously! Tommy his wife and cousin and everyone else that work there are soo nice and I've never felt so comfortable! Prices are more than reasonable

I went over the weekend for a pedicure and the girl that did it did not have a name tag on or else I would call her out. She was very rough and the white abrasive sponge they use to buff your nails was used so aggressively that she used it on my skin too!! At one point there was a little blood and my toes were stinging. I changed the amount of the tip i usually give to a lower amount which she is lucky she got anything. She should not be working on people The place is nice and clean and they have a lot of people working there so getting an appt or being a walk in is not problem. If i do go again though I will read reviews that specify a person that is good. I suggest the same to others. Oh and my toe was stinking for at least an hour when i got home.

I have never, NEVER, been to a salon where I've shown a photo to a stylist of what envision my hair looking like and then left feeling like I got EXACTLY what I wanted, only better. My hair looks gorgeous, feels so healthy and as if that's not enough, my spirit feels rejuvenated. Sandi has such a warm and bubbly personality--it's contagious. Our conversation never felt forced, and even though this was my first time visiting, I didn't feel like a newcomer. This really speaks to the inviting environment that is fostered at Summer Falls Day Spa. I feel so fortunate to have found a stylist near my home that I love. Thank you Sandi!

I had really hoped to love this salon because it is so close to home but I'm sorry to say I'm…read moregreatly disappointed. Cindy's Nail Salon is by appointment only, and they take COVID precautions very seriously even after many places started reopening for fully vaccinated customers, they refuse walk-ins and require you to wear your mask the entire time, which I don't have a problem with. I inquired about a acrylic fill and gel polish on the phone, and the woman quoted me $37 and up, depending on the design. I had a basic acrylic fill and solid, one color gel polish and Cindy charged me $45, which she did a bad job rationalizing saying that I didn't get my nails done there originally, that's why it was more expensive. For what reason, I'm still not sure. It's not like she had to file or sculpt the nails anymore than a regular fill set. Most importantly, when I sat down to get my nails done, Cindy's daughter came over to me and told me that their credit card machine was down. I luckily had enough cash on me to cover the amount plus the tip, but when I returned a few days later to have one of my nails fixed because the polish started peeling, they had a handwritten sign stating that their machine was down. I'm sorry but that's just bad business and no excuse in today's day and age. There are countless other payment methods- Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Square Space, Cash App to name a few. It is purely shady and really made me feel like they're most likely not going to report the amount of money they're making honestly. So worst of all, and my reason for the one star is that my manicure- as expensive as it was, is chipped and peeling all over the place. Cindy had put nail glue underneath some of my fingernails and it was completely irritating- I've never had a nail salon do that. She basically glued the tips of my fingers. Needless to say all of my nails are chipped and peeling from the tips. She claimed that my thumb was peeling because it never dried... but she never applied a base gel coat to my nails and I felt Cindy was rushing in the drying process. Getting my nails done was not relaxing at all. She just wants to get you in and out and instructs you to put your hand in and out of the gel UV machine- in a harsh, hurried tone of voice. Not to mention she loves talking about how many people they refuse service to because they weren't respectful of their COVID precautions. Definitely will never be returning and I'm quite honestly surprised how they have lasted there for 16 years.
