Clean, calming, no horribly harsh chemicals or fragrance smells. Other salons have given me headaches or reactions from the various scents and products, but I'm always safe at Bellacure! She was very rough and the white abrasive sponge they use to buff your nails was used so aggressively that she used it on my skin too!! At one point there was a little blood and my toes were stinging. I changed the amount of the tip i usually give to a lower amount which she is lucky she got anything. She should not be working on people The place is nice and clean and they have a lot of people working there so getting an appt or being a walk in is not problem. First of all, Brittney was so responsive and flexible about scheduling, helping me schedule my trials and being so unbelievably understanding as the number of appointments grew and shrank leading up to the wedding. We had our appointments inside the salon because we had a relatively small group and didn't want to deal with finding an appropriate space in one of the hotels. We are so glad we did--- It feels so warm and welcoming inside the salon, and we even were able to put out a breakfast food spread during the appointments! Brittney did our hair for the wedding day (we also got great blowouts/curls from Marisa and Michaela the day before!) and she is amazing---she is so so talented, and our hair stayed completely perfect for our entire 14+ hour event. Everyone had such different hair types and styles and everyone told me they got exactly what they were hoping for, if not far better! Nicole did our makeup and we similarly could not be more impressed! She knew exactly how to handle all of our concerns and made sure that everyone loved their look. We all just couldn't stop looking in the mirror! Just like our hair, the makeup did not budge throughout the day, even though we were in a hot and humid environment! Not only are all of the folks at Strand wonderfully talented, they are also just so nice!! She is really passionate about sculpting hair in a way that works for your face shape, and she is an absolute wizard with color, especially for blondes/highlights. He up-dos are impeccable. When I went to Nicole Elizabeth Salon, they were still in their soft-open phase. Everything is coming together and I love the look of the salon. It is very airy and bright. The stations are right by the windows, so the lighting during the day is fantastic. The sinks are comfortable to lay back into and the chairs are great. They offer a lot of services. I'm definitely going to try out the spray tan when Summer rolls around.

I called and asked for an appointment with a Rachel and when they said she no longer worked there I booked with another stylist. I got Tara. I asked for only a little trim because I'm growing my hair out from a pixie and I SPECIFICALLY told her I did NOT want the layers on the left (fuller) side of my hair shorter than the right side. She started cutting and I mentioned she was cutting a lot off, she simply said it was dead and she had to so I let it go. I was sad but I let it go. I declined a blow dry and went home with wet hair. When my hair dried not only did I realize the inches she took off, but what did I discover?! The layers on the left side of my hair are WAY SHORTER than the right side! Also they flip out in a ridiculous way because she cut through a curl in a weird way. I look lopsided and ridiculous. I'm SO disappointed and furious.
