The people were very nice. The end product LOOKED good. However, My nails were completely ruined by the tech using the electric roller device to remove a dip polish. It actually hurt. I got a gel manicure, and my nails were so soft they completely bent over. It will take months for these nails to grow out, they are paper thin and extremely fragile. I've been getting my nails done for years, but I'll never have a dip or gel manicure again. Ever! read more

I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure, plus a repair on one of my nails. (I am forever messing myself up and in need of saving, anyway!) The pedicure and repair went quite smoothly and was very relaxing. I got one of the basic packages but was still quite happy with the service I received. My manicure was also quite nice. Very disappointed. This was my first time here. Had a gift certificate, went to treat myself since my birthday is in a weekish. I was told I couldn't get the design I wanted, that I didn't book the appointment correctly and that I had to pick something else. The girl who did my nails seemed to try her best but she ended up rushing the whole way through not paying attention to detail and kept checking the time which made me feel extremely anxious and uncomfortable. She made me bleed and didn't even wipe the blood away or clean it. I ended up with nails that I don't like, they aren't even, have scratches/dent, and she was annoyed I asked her to please clean the polish off my fingers and told me "it comes off in the shower".... So much for my "birthday nails". I definitely will not come here again and will not be recommending this place to anyone. I pride myself on always being a very forgiving and understanding customer this salon crosses that boundary for me. For one, if you are not paying attention they will use a greater on your foot. This is an excerpt I chose from an article on foot health. Whether they're legal in your area or not, one thing's for sure: It's never a good idea to use them on the fragile skin of your feet. In fact, one expert says it's the worst idea. "The thickening of the skin on the feet is protective and can help keep out fungus and bacteria. Grating this thickened skin is basically opening up that area to bacteria, fungus, and yeast," says Lana Pinchasov, a dermatology-certified physician's assistant in New York City. I came here to get a full set of acrylic nails. It was my first time here and they were amazing. I called at 11:50am and they were able to fit me in at 12:30 that day. I didn't have to wait more than 10 min to be seated which was perfectly fine. The interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. The lovely lady that did my set was very friendly and sweet, we had a great chat. It only Took about an hour for my full set which is amazing. I've been at other places where it can take over 2 hours. And the best part is, I got these nails 7 days ago and they're still in tact. I love this salon! The technicians are helpful, friendly, and talented. I recently went for tips and an ombre style. The tech helped me with the two colors I picked; she took the time to explain that the second color wouldn't show up very well over the first and helped me pick out a dip that would achieve the look I wanted. It looks absolutely beautiful and the acrylics, dip, and the ombre (which is considered nail art) was still fairly affordable. I would recommend calling in the morning or the day before to make an appointment because of their popularity. read more

I didn't think I was picky about my nails but now that I go here I won't go anywhere else. I always notice the difference with how long my dip nails last. Also, most of the technicians check with me part-way to ensure the shape and color is what I want, which is nice if you aren't one to speak up. I appreciate that they have a lot of experience with unique or complex styles like ombré or designs, just need to let them know in advance to be sure there is time (though they have done it without notice for me anyway). They are super busy but still always try to accommodate when I inevitably call at the last minute. Wide color selection for regular, gel and dip. They've gotten better on promising and following appointment times as there has rarely ever been a wait anymore. I saw Trang today for a dip manicure, which came out FLAWLESS!!! She was very thorough, meticulous, and quick but yet efficient. Dip came out perfectly even, not too thick, and beautifully shaped. Since Divine has opened it's been my favorite salon around. I live in NYC and always get my nails done here when I am home in Franklin. Since they've reopened recently after 3 months shut down, the place was cleaner than ever and I felt so comfortable and safe while getting a pedicure and manicure. I saw everyone cleaning the chairs and surfaces after their client got up, and they have everyone use sanitizer before and after your appointment. Nice looking salon, they took me immediately for a dip manicure which was great. The woman who did my nails was in the phone talking three times in 40 minutes not including texting. After the top coat and the massage, I notice I have more loose skin and cuticles on my nails then I did when i walked in (from the buffing and sanding) and I asked if she could clean up my cuticles (most places do this automatically) and she said oh that's $7 extra..... and I confirmed "$7 extra for clipping my cuticles?" Yes that's right. But this time she'll do it for free. No I won't be back even though it's convenient. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. WORST experience at a nail salon I have ever had & I've been getting my nails done for a decade. I will NEVER return & I was a long time client of Divine, even left a good review in the past that I've attached a photo of. They were SO rude to me. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I walk in at my apt time and go to a woman closest to the door and show her my nails she tried to blame me and say it's because of my fingers. I said no ma'm. Then They tried to sit me with the girl who messed up my nails in the first place! I was very nice and said "I'm not trying to be rude but could I please have another technician as I dont want the same thing to happen again" She got extremely defensive and told me no you can't. She said there's no one else available I said that's fine I'll wait for someone to be available (they were EXTREMELY over booked which they do often). Then said she was going to get a manager but just walked up to another technician. So I got up and went over to the guy who does the phones/apt book who I believe is a manager and told him she's refusing letting me have another technician. He said have a seat. Then once he was done with his clients nails he rushingly starts filing my nails and then says ok their good now and they absolutely weren't. So he told me have a seat again. I was sitting at the nail dryer and he was so irritated he kicked the white storage drawers that were right beside me very hard. So now after sitting there for about 20 mins onto ANOTHER technician. Another female. She was so rude and condescending to me. Saying "it's only a millimeter difference there's nothing you should be complaining about". At this point I could not be so nice anymore as they were not being nice to me but I still kept my composure but started to have to go back-and-forth with the woman and hold my ground. She was blaming me for her technicians mistake and when I was saying I've been a long time client of 2+yrs who's spent alot of money here and never had an issue your employee made a mistake and I'm getting punished for it she straight up just ignored me. The man also ignored me when I said to him (talking about the first technician they sat me with) that she was extremely rude to me. So finally after this fourth technician arguing with me I said well I'll just have to dispute this with my bank. She said she'd have to take them off then and started drilling off the polish. I said that's perfectly fine. Then all the sudden her whole tone changed once she drilled off the polish and finally was willing to actually "fix" them. Throughout this time of her "fixing" them she kept making rude/condescending comments to me. Also tried insinuating I always have a problem I said I've NEVER had an issue here, I've never came back to get anything fixed you can even go ask him. And she didn't. Then she says well you want them longer I don't want to be getting another call from you tomorrow that now their too short or another problem. Acting like I just do this all the time. I had an appointment for 6:30 didn't end up getting out of there until 9:30 PM. And the worst part, they made me PAY to fix THEIR mistakes!! Her excuse was I was paying to make them longer. And I STILL tipped her. There were more rude/condescending comments made but this is already a pretty long review. But moral of the story, they do not care about their clients at all even if you've been going there for years. They do not want to fix their mistakes, are money hungry, and just plain out mean. And they still look bad after being "fixed"' so now I've spent a total of 72$+ tip for a horrible basic one color set. read more

I really wanted to be a regular customer here. It's close to home which is convenient and they take appointments. The first appointment, my tech was 15 minutes late. The owner said she didn't start until 10:15 though they made an appt. for 10:00. The next time I went, she was a few minutes late for the 10:15 appt. so the third time I made it for 10:30 so as not to rush her. When I arrived at 10:25 she had just started a fill for someone that was booked for 10! I waited until 11 to be seen. So the convenience of an appt. is not worth anything. They overbook and say no to no one. The owner actually told me it wasn't his problem! I beg to differ and that was enough to turn me off forever. Sorry, no tip. She gave me two new fake nails since I had a fill that needed to be fixed and both were put on great. The salon is totally beautiful. He over books and we all have to wait Ten mins to twenty minutes and then the poor workers are always rushed as he only care about getting as many people in as they can. Six people crammed into a small space. So, although they make you use hand sanitizer, they do not practice social distancing. Went in for a pedicure, wasn't greatly impressed. The salon itself looks nice, but the women who did my pedicure cut my toe nails way too much. She asked if I wanted square and I said yes. I've had this done many times before, but never this way. In addition to clipping the tips of the nails, she also clipped each side of every nail so I have previously unexposed skin popping out and it is very sensitive. Leg massage was blah.
