Would give this place negative review if I could. Highly inattentive, inefficient and just plain rude. ALSO, DIRTY!!! Used to go here no problems when it was cali nails but now that it's seasons nails it's obviously under new ownership. As you can tell by the photos, FUNGI developed under my nail!!! I went to get them filled today at a different salon since I had the worst experience and the nail tech told me I had fungus growing under my nail and could not get acrylic on that one until it was done. Not only was the guy that began doing my nails inattentive and rude, but he didn't even get the nail polish off my fingers after taking the polish off the nails. When I asked if he could remove more, he gave me attitude. When he cut my nails and I asked for shorter, he said "I already asked if the length was ok". That is when a lady fresh out of nail tech school who barely knew what she was doing took over. I was honestly nervous for her to keep going, but at that point I couldn't just leave. Few of my nails came out crooked and she kept smudging the polish on my nails. They looked so bad when I left I've never been more unhappy. Typically I feel great when I leave the nail salon. Come to find out I have an infection because of how UNCLEANLY they are. I am beyond disturbed and unhappy with the service. Wish I didn't give them a cent of my money. read more

My aunt and I came to California nails because of its proximity to her house; we weren't in the mood to venture out too far so California nails fit the bill. The place was packed, which is to be expected the day before Christmas. We were running a bit late for our appointment, we had to wait maximum 5-minutes for service. My aunt got a full set of gel nails while I got a mani/pedi. The lady that was helping me was super nice, we had a bit of a communication problem due to her lack of English, but she was so friendly. We made small conversation while we she was working on my nails. The place was clean and well stocked. I was looking for a particular shade of purple to match my shoes and they were able to find a shade that matched perfectly. For me, personally $65 for a basic mani/pedi with design is a bit over price, but maybe that's how prices are in New England. Overall, I had a great experience and was given amazing customer service. read more

Not only did i have to specifically ask to make my nails straight, take the fuzz out of them, fix the bubbles i also had to tell her she was hurting me. I went to this place for at least 5 or 6 years (before I found a wonderful place in Mansfield which I will write a review on) and have to say i wish i found a better place sooner! Some of the staff here are friendly but some are plain rude. There were many a time where i would go to get a manicure and the girl working on me would be more interested in the people walking in the door or other people, not even looking at my nails and they would end up crooked with me having to tell her to fix them! Worst manicure ever!!!! Just got my nails done here and the lady that did my nails was rushed and rough. Before she put the color on, she asked if i wanted to pay before she painted my nails so I did. The bill was 15 dollars so I gave her a 20 dollar bill and said that she could keep the change. She said thank you and threw the cash into her bucket of nail supplies. I thought this was unprofessional and annoying. When she painted the color she was getting it all oveR my skin. I wasn't worried because I thought she would correct it when she was done. Well, she used a paper towel to correct it and there was still a lot of red polish on my skin! It was completely sloppy. When I left there was no one at the reception area to help me fix the situation. I am completely dissatisfied and I am going home to paint my own nails. What a waste of time and money. If you do decide to go to this place, don't pay beforehand because I would not have tipped her at all if I have known she would have done such a crappy job. read more

Oh also unsanitary, there was a long pice of black hair stuck to the tool she was using and was on my foot for almost the whole time. Disgusting. When I told the woman my water for my hands was too hot she just looked at me, finished her sip of water from a water bottle, then poured the rest of the water in my bowl. So my hand was soaking in her backwash water. When I asked for new water she gave me huge attitude. At the medway location one time they gave me a gel manicure instead of gel tips because of their miscommunication (no offense intended at all this woman literally could not fluently speak English) and demanded I pay for both a gel manicure and gel tips. This place is now called Season Nails. I made an appointment for myself and my bestie. It was a gift for her birthday. Our appointment was for 4:30. We showed up around 4:20 only to be told "they forgot to write it down and took another person" the women then told us. It would be atleast a half hour before one of us could get a manicure. Oh my... So, this place wasn't good at all. I was visiting my parents and just stopped in there since I was shopping around in that plaza anyways. First of all, just a color mani was $15, which seemed a little high given the low quality of the store itself. For that price, I had very high expectations, but those expectations weren't met. At all. When she was cutting my cuticles, it hurt - I think I may have bled at one point. She barely gave a hand massage. Then with the actual manicure, she got paint on some parts of my skin. If I could give negative stars I would. I went to get a manicure yesterday since I just got engaged and everyone wants to look at my hands but didn't have time to go to my usual nail salon. I went in and the person at the desk was really rude and on her cell phone the whole time. Also when getting my manicure my nails were long and I told her I just wanted them shaped she cut them all down so now I have short nails. (growing my nails is very hard while working in a warehouse!!) She washed my arms with the water she soaked my hands in!! GROSS I didn't even know what was going on to stop her! my nails look like a 2 year old did them. My engagement party is tomorrow and I am thinking of taking off the manicure and painting them myself! Also they charge $15 for a color mani and the whole time tried to get me to get a pedicure too! I've had shellac nail polish done many times at different places. I came here the first time on February 7 and had shellac nail polish done. Not only did the color change after several days but only 5 days after, 2 of the nails were completely off and 2 more were chipped. Very dissatisfied after the money I spent. read more

Great if you need a fast walk in appointment but the service is hit or miss. Sometimes the water for the pedicure is cold and sometimes its scalding. Sometimes the girl is gentle cutting your cuticles and other times she is rough. Sometimes you get a nice long hand massage and sometimes you don't. HORRIBLE! I have been to this nail salon many times before as they have progressively gotten worse. This last visit was my last straw. I made an appointment the day before and I came in with my mother and I. We ended up having to wait for 20 mins before actually getting seated for a pedicure. My mom had an okay experience but I had the worst I've ever had. She put my feet into dirty water. I could see the skin and calluses from the person before. So I nicely asked her for new water but she dident clean it out so it still had dead skin in it and you could see chuncks at the top. My mother in the past has only been there and no other salon. A year ago my mother got a fungus on her toes and it's taken a year to grow out. Why did we go back? Convinence of location. My mother and I decided to get a spa pedicure which was 10 dollars more. They put HOT wax on our feet. So hot to the point we had burns on the bottom of our feet when we left. After paying 80 dollars for 2 pedicures plus 20 dollar tip. Soon as I walked out of there I told my mother, we will never ever ever be going there again. Be careful at this place. They are extremely rude bad service and discusting! Not sure what's up with this place since the sign says "Seasons Nails" now but I went last Wednesday and it was not the best experience. The girl that helped me did not really seem like she knew how to the the job I asked. My acrylic nails came out really thick, uneven and unattractive. I went to California Nails today to get a gel manicure and so I sat down and tried to make conversation with the lady and she didn't even try, I have found them to be rude before. Then she began doing my nails and she was doing it very sloppily and checking her time every two seconds. Afterwards, she dropped the nail polish on her and she freaked out and did my nails really quick so she could try to get the stain out and she also said "I'm so done with this" and I asked her what she had said and she said "nothing". Also, one of my biggest problems is they can't speak English! it makes it sooo hard to understand what they are saying to you. And when she finished my nails it was done horrible, so many chips and areas where there was no nail polish and I asked her to fixed something and she said she "couldn't see it". This place is terrible. It was my first time there, only 3 ladies were working and when it got busy, my gel manicure was rushed. I had told the women who was doing my nails, that they looked messed up and she said "oh no they look great". She went to go take a pedicure while my nails where drying and she took the tools she used on me to use on another girl and she only rinsed them...so gross. Then I went to pay and it was so overpriced, 30 dollars for a crapy manicure, I barely even made it out of the parking lot and two of my nails were peeling ALREADY. I went back in and told them I had no time for them to fix them, I just wanted my money back. All the ladies who worked there started laughing and they wouldn't give me back my money. easily the worst salon I have ever been to. There were only two people working and they seemed to be yelling at each other the entire I was there, which was unpleasant. I asked for just a manicure and since they were few workers and many customers the jobs was horribly done and completely rushed. I have been home for two hours and 4 out of my 10 nails are already chipped! And to think I paid $20.00 for something that lasted 2 hours, ridiculous. The person made me bleed... and did not even clean the blood off. I had to wipe it off once I got home. They did not ask me for square or round. And the paint was all over my skin after the manicure was finished. The water she tried to use of my hands was dirty muggy water and the filer had been clearly used several times, for it was chipped and dirty looking. When I sat down at the station there was a glob of dead skin on the towel, and she did not even move it for me!! I had to place my hands around it and avoid it completely. Overpriced pedicures bad service. I have been in here twice and was unhappy both times this time I went in end of day and decided on a pedicure. I asked for wi fi password and she did not know what it was. Then while doing pedicure before she was even done she asked me if I was paying cash. They don't seem to use sterile stuff. While working on my toes she used a cuticle remover tool and put it back in her case as if to reuse it. Also she rinsed the callous remover brush in my water with all my dead skin on it which I also found weird. All other Salons I have been to remove the skin from your feet and ankles and wrap it in towel or plastic bags to get rid of it. Ugh don't recommend this place at all. I went here last night to get a mani/pedi before my baby shower, which is today. Being pregnant I was so looking forward to the pedi & foot massage. I called at 4:00 and asked if I needed an appointment to come in at 5. I was told 'no come on in'. When I got there the place was packed and I had to wait 20 minutes for an avalible chair. They started with a pedi. She had me put my feet into the dry tub and started to run the water. IT WAS FREEZING COLD! Not the experience I had been looking for. The lady in the chair next to me said if you come here late in the day they run out of hot water. Great. Then at some point I apparently agreed to a 'spa pedicure treatment' though honestly I was just saying yes because I had no idea what she said. She definately did not mention what she was doing was an extra charge. To me it was a basic pedi, in cold water. As I was getting my toes done 3 or 4 of the workers started fighting in front of us! I mean yelling very loudly. It was comical but uncomfortable for all of us customers. We were all like 'whoa she's pissed'. Just because you persume we don't know what your saying because its in another language doesent mean its ok to yell at each other in front of customers! Again not the relaxing time I was hoping for. The mani was uneventful, but the station was dirty. When it came time to pay and she said $70 I almost choked! I have never paid that much for a mani/pedi! I told the guy at the register this and all he said was 'we charge $70'. I told him strait out that was ridiculous, especially for having no hot water and witnessing a fight among employees! Zero customer service. When I walked in, I was barely greeted by a blond man who was on the phone. I asked for a French mani and he set me up with a woman filed down my current gels. Then another woman showed up to actually work on my nails. This women kept asking me how many coats of polish she should use, and even where exactly to cut each nail..Almost zero English. She was not told that I wanted French tips; she thought I was ready for the top coat when I mentioned that I wanted tips. I had already been there over an hour. Then there was a huge argument in Korean. There were employees yelling back and forth making me very uncomfortable. I told them I was willing to just leave but a man (manager?) said "she can just draw French on now. She hasn't put on the top coat yet. That's all it is." Then she told me to wash my hands but didn't say where; I had to walk by a line of pedicure ladies and and I got yelled at again.My nails look amateurish for 35 bucks. I have never really been a fan of this place but I do like that they are open 7 days a week until 8. However, this last visit will be my last. I went there the Sunday before going back to work after being on maternity leave for 3 months and my normal place was closed for the weekend due to the July 4th holiday. Just like a lot of other reviewers, I was offered numerous times upgrades on my pedicure. Apparently they do not understand the word "no". The service for the manicure was just as worst. First the guy working on my nails reeked like cigarettes, basically he smelled like he took a cigarette bath. Then the phone rang and he spent almost 10 minutes chatting on the phone while working on my nails. I had asked for a shellac manicure. I received gel instead of a shellac. Everytime I have received shellac, the machine to dry my nails had a timer and each hand would go under for the entire time. But the machine they used was something that I had never seen. I would just put my hands in after each time they painted a hand. Basically, they did not have even drying time. I had this done on Sunday, my nails started chipping on Tuesday morning. This type of polish should last at least 2 weeks. Now all my nails are chipping/peeling. This service was absolutely ridiculous and they will never see a dime of my money ever again. read more
