So happy to have found this place when it popped up on Instagram! Decided to celebrate my birthday by doing a little decoden activity here with friends and we had such a great time! Booking a reservation was easy. Upon checking in we were introduced into the space and options of what we wanted to decorate or create. This was the hardest part, mostly because there was so much to choose from. I opted for a compact/comb in one of my favorite colors. They have so many things from hairclips, trinket boxes and phone cases. Depending on your item you're alotted an "icing" color and a number of charms. To be honestly I barely used half the amount of charms I was allowed. Instructions were easy and helpful. There were so many colors and cute and fun charms to work with. Loved that they had some sample pieces up too. Once my party got ideas of what we were going to do we were all in the flow and so focused on our decorating. It was fun to be creating together with music playing in the background. The space was comfortable and the 3 hours went by super fast. I definitely recommend this place if you are into decoden, into crafting/arts and perfect for a bonding activity or to celebrate anything really! I'll def have to come back!

Omg!!! This spot is amazing. So many cute things to decorate with. It was my first time here with my friends, and we definitely enjoyed it. We wanted to get crafty and tap, but mostly we just decorated our items. You can hear us holding our breath or not blinking because we are concentrating on piping the cream. I made a jewelry box for my mom. It is not perfect, but I tried at least. I had to remind them that this is not a cake, but it's so cute that it looks like one. The service is amazing and very helpful with the instructions. The staff are so friendly and will assist you if you have questions. I would definitely come back with the girlies again.

employees were super kind and offered to help with demo-ing things and finding different tools and cream tips :) picking an item to decorate and all the charms to use was pretty straightforward even though i took a while to choose i was also afraid that the cream wouldn't be enough but i scraped by ! it's a fun activity to do with friends :)

Such a cute spot for a date or a hangout with friends! They have some pieces for you to decorate like mirrors, claw clips, fans, picture frames etc but you are more than welcome to bring your own pieces too. They have a decent selection of charms but again you are welcome to bring your own charms and supplies to decorate too. The staff will teach you how to pipe but you're left alone most of the time to create your own art! No time limit, we had so much fun we started pulling things from our purses to see what else we could decorate.

Such a cute place and plenty of options. You get 2 hours to pick items and decorate. We end up taking 1.5 hours. The staff was friendly and they provide guidance but you're pretty much on your own. Most likely will come back again for some crafting therapy. Price range I think is reasonable, but not all charms displayed were available so that was a bummer.

Omg I had a fun while decompressing from my week! I got to decorate a jewelry box with lots of cute things. There were so many types of charms, they tell you how many you can get for the item you choose to decorate and the amount of cream colors too :). Service is very sweet and helpful, don't worry they walk you through everything. The most important thing to remember is don't worry about your item looking "perfect" just have fun with it! Value is good I think because selection is big :).

This studio is so cute, pink, and super fun! The staff were really kind, helpful and overall great people! They have a good selection of different things to decoden. I would highly recommend to do this with your friends!

My friend and I had a kawaii-filled afternoon crafting at Kawaii DIY Studio this weekend. Such a fun concept: pick your project, select adorable charms and frosting colors to customize your creation, then get crafty! I decided to make a large heart-shaped trinket box and my friend picked hair clips. Since it was our first time, the owners gave us a frosting tutorial and tips. A great and unique activity, perfect for catching up with a friend and creating your own one-of-a-kind treasures! Prices were definitely reasonable for the experience. I definitely want to come back and make more items!

10/10 experience. I came here with my friend to celebrate our birthdays. The owners, mother and her daughter are the epitome of patience! They were incredibly friendly, kind, and gentle with us, especially as we were both feeling overwhelmed by all the choices and our perfectionist tendencies. They provided a little tutorial for the frosting, and even gave one-to-one support. :) My friend and I loved what we made! Then whoopsiepoopsie! I dropped my masterpiece face down! I so badly wanted to melt to the floor and cry, but the owners stepped up and said it's happened to others before and that it's okay. They sat with me as I fixed it and gave lots of cheers and encouragement the whole time. Above and beyond service and unexpected grace. They even gave us a quick photoshoot with our creations, lol. Please go to here, you won't regret it. Creativity you didn't know you had will spill out of you here! Big fun! *** Recommendations: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time as you will most likely feel overwhelmed with all the cute options to decorate, as well as all the kawaii charms to choose for your design. If possible, schedule yourself for the last appointment for a relaxed experience, - I'm incredibly indecisive so it was important I didn't feel rushed during the experience.

So so so cute! I loved this experience when I went with my cousins and sisters. There's so many items to choose from that you can decorated! From small to big, from frames to everyday items like wallets, it's endless. I'd love to come back and do some of the other things they had. You got to choose at least 2 of the pastes and many charms depending on the item you got. I had so much fun decorating mine and being creative! The workers were so nice as well, they showed us how to apply the product properly and talked to us about K-pop which was nice. I hope I can come back for ther K-pop birthday events!! Definitely would recommend.

Came here with my friends and had a great time! Everything was organized well and there were signs that clearly explained each step. There was a huge variety of charms and my friends and I had such a hard time choosing because they were all so cute!! One of my friends and I had never done piping before but the worker walked us through it. She was really friendly and helpful! Super cute place and great time to spend with your friends/family! I'm already itching to come back and make more!

I discovered this location after my friend shared an Instagram video about it. I went there with a friend to celebrate a birthday on a Saturday afternoon. Although we didn't have a reservation, they had a seat available for walk-ins. If it had been busy, we likely wouldn't have been able to get in, especially if they were booked for a large party. I'm glad there was no time limit because I would have felt stressed trying to decide what item I wanted to customize. I debated between a mirror and a hair clip, while my friend debated between a box and a hair clip. In the end, my friend chose the hair clip, and I opted for the hand mirror. After that, I needed to decide on a charm. I kept changing my mind about which charm to use while figuring out the placement. In the picture, I have three creams because I texted my friend to ask which colors I should use. I ultimately chose a pink mixture with white and purple. For the hand mirror, I have fifteen regular charms, two cream charms, and two mega charms. I'm thankful for the unlimited mini charms that available on the table because they help fill out the space. I didn't practice much beforehand but decided to dive in. I can see where I need to improve, but for my first attempt, I'm pleased with how my mirror turned out. I think I visited on a day when they had run out of some charms, but I plan to come back and work on another project. I hope they have more items and charms the next time I come back. I find out on instagram yes you can bring your own supplies like charms and what not. The staff was super friendly, patient, and helpful. The owner explained that their silicone cream is strong enough to withstand travel, which was important since my friend and I had more plans for the day. My friend accidentally dropped her project, but she was able to adjust the charm a bit, and it survived just fine.

Reserved space for our selections (with tips, tiny trash can, tool, extra fillers, picks, spatulas)

Loved my time with the studio. A friend and I were looking for something fun to do and thought we'd make something. We got there early and saw the most adorable treat decor/stools. The space is so well organized with examples and options. The signage is clear about what charms we could use based on project size. The shop gal greeted us with warmth and happiness. She was tremendous in creating a fun place to hang out. There was kpop playing. I couldn't name a thing though it's a fun vibe. I ended up choosing a luggage tag. Then the fun chaos began: which charms and cream to use. Ahhh! :) Charms are stored in numerous drawers. I changed my mind a few things and that's ok. The cute heart-shaped bowl as part of the set up made it easy to carry around. We had our reserved table with tools and additional filler items. Loved the sprinkles and glow-in-the-dark flakes. It's a lot of choice and flexibility with a wonderful supportive space to have fun. The two hours flew by. I flubbed sometimes with my cream and those moistened wipes saved the day. Eventually, I said whatever and just stuck some flakes to my oops. Haha. I loved my time here. My friend and I had some quality hang time. Cost is about average from these kinds of spaces. It's totally worth it to me from the service, choices, organization, easy parking (lot), location (tea across the street with restaurants not far away). I'd come back and definitely recommend to others.

***3.5 stars overall***…read more I took a friend to Color Me Mine for their birthday. This location was convenient but it was really small. I am glad I made a table reservation. (You put a $10 deposit on the table that ends up going towards your final bill.) Because of the long rectangular shape of the store, the staff sit in the middle of the store, so no one greets you when you walk in. Thus, we were a little confused when we entered -- not knowing if we look for our table first or look for a ceramic piece first? Or do we check in somewhere? A greeting from the staff would have solved this. Without leaving their counter, someone briefly and hurriedly explained the process and locations of everything, and left us to begin. Even though I had done this before, it was my first time at this store and it was my friend's first painting pottery ever, and we were both lost, even after her mini tutorial. (I have been to pottery painting places where they walk you to the paint area to get you started, as an example of comparison.) Thankfully I remembered things from previous experiences that the painted ceramic tiles by the paint bottles with 3 squares symbolize what the different layers would look like after firing. (This is critical knowledge that the staff should point out to each group, so we'd understand how each layer of paint looks when dried/fired because sometimes we may want to paint 3 layers of paint, but not always. It was crucial to understand how to reference these tiles!) The paints and brushes were in one corner; the sink and paper towels were around the corner in the back of the store; and there was one main shelf of unpainted pottery choices (with a range of prices, but after adding in your $10 a person sitting fee, the final cost adds up, so be sure you like the piece you choose!) We chose to paint one large piece together rather than 2 smaller pieces. To make the look more cohesive, we chose colors within a certain range (lavenders and yellows/orange), and then we didn't look at the each other's side! It was very fun. **Some Things To Note** - Your table reservation gives you 2 hours. (We finished in that time but we also didn't do a lot of detailed work. I actually think most people would need more time than that if you choose a large ceramic or are painting details.) - The tables are pretty close together, so you don't get much privacy. We all heard each other's conversations. It was also very narrow to walk between the tables when people were painting, so it may not be a place to bring active kids who can't sit still for long periods of time. - It looks like they allow outdoor food because many were bringing their own snacks. I brought in an outside drink, which I'm glad I did because it was warm and you sit there for hours. - They do have a bathroom, if anyone is wondering. - It may take a week for them to get to your ceramic piece, glaze and fire it, but we got a text that it was ready around 4 days after painting it. It is a fun experience to paint pottery, as long as you can afford it and feel comfortable approaching the counter to ask your questions because the staff doesn't seem like they go out of their way to offer help unfortunately.
