A place to order and some seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a build you own Poke Bowl (my options were $15). As my base I got Japchae Noodles with Garlic Oil and Chips. As my protein I got Teriyaki Steak and Chicken done Hawaiian style. For the toppings I chose Mac salad, corn, and sliced onions. Lastly the sauce on top I chose yum yum sauce and teriyaki sauce. This may be an odd combination, but it works. These unique combinations were delicious. I devoured it. The steak and chicken were both high quality and worth it for them alone. I also got an order of a new item for Korean Fried Chicken ($10). The chicken was tiny. However it was fried to perfection and tasted delicious. The garlic soy was a dollar extra, but it definitely paired perfectly with the chicken. I got a can of Root Beer for almost $3. A little pricey, but the only real negative. The service was good with a caveat. I could not hear the lady taking my order, because she talked so quietly. Overall still a 5 star review. Would I return? Pros: amazing food and service Cons: none I had been wanting to try for awhile after hearing excellent reviews -today was the day! We got a large bulgogi bowl, mini egg rolls, and sushi. It was all AMAZING! Freshly prepared, good ingredients, good flavors. My hubs usually doesn't like sauces, but loved the sauce served with the egg rolls. The bulgogi bowl was amazing -a lot of food. The sushi was prepared fresh and also delish. Both were tasty but I liked the California bowl more (the sauce it came with was unbeatable). They were both fresh and flavorful. Tried their new menu item, Korean fried chicken. Great bowls and sushi! Their bulgogi bowl is insanely delish; the meat is super tender and everything in the bowl works wonderfully together. Their mini spring rolls are perfectly crispy and you get a bunch. I typically stick to California rolls (I'm a newbie to sushi) but I ventured out and tried the Lisa Lisa roll and I'm so glad I did; my only complaint is I wish the sauces they put on the roll were served on the side for takeout because it soaked into the panko and made less crispy. Everything was amazing! Food was delicious. Quickly made and tasted great. The owner was very polite and considerate. I went when they first opened so it was still slow, he gave us some free samples and made good conversation while we waited for our order. Generally places don't do a good job of cooking bulgogi beef to my liking or it's usually pretty fatty, but this place does an AMAZING job. We recently spent 2 weeks in Hawaii and had some of the best food of our lives and this is the first place since being back that has reminded us of Maui. The food was very fresh and flavorful. The gyozas are unlike and I've ever had. No stone bowls for the bibimbop but still delish. Not the biggest fan of the noodles that were an option for the byob but the rice was great. What a pleasant surprise. I drive past this space regularly, and loved the last restaurant that was in there. I was sad to see a new name over the door and am also thrilled that a delicious poke spot is nearby. The bowls we had were delicious. I hope they add an option to order a stand alone seaweed salad- that would make my day! Service on what I assume was opening week, was thoughtful, and generous.
