If you're locked out, CALL KATZ'S! Friendly, honest, quick, great price, and great service! 100% would recommend! While heading out on our nightly walk, we forgot the keys before closing the door behind us. We got locked out of the house late at night with no way in, so the only way in would be through a locksmith. After calling several locksmiths, I called Katz, and I'm really glad I did! Other locksmiths on the phone gave us a wishy washy price range, and said they wouldn't know until they got to the house (coming to the house would mean there's a service fee for coming to the house, and then on top of that, an unknown price for the labor). After giving Katz the brand of the door lock over the phone, Katz gave me a straightforward answer on how much it was, which made me feel at ease that I wasn't getting ripped off. In addition, it was BY FAR the best deal out of all the locksmiths I called. I read online of other locksmiths giving an approximate time, and arriving way past the ETA and leaving their customers waiting for a long time. Katz gave me an approximate time and arrived within that time frame. Given that it was a pretty chilly night, it was definitely appreciated. Fingers crossed that I won't get locked out of the house again anytime soon, but if I do, I'd definitely call Katz's Lock & Keys again. read more

AMAZING SERVICE!! So my car doesn't start without my remote. My key completely broke off. So I was for the hunt to find a place. I called soo many places and they wanted over charge me $50+ more than KATz. Other company trying to tell me they can't sell me the case only they have to sell me everything. I locked myself out of my apartment in a rush this morning and it was too early to talk to my apartment complex/replacement keys would be more expensive. I looked on Yelp and found this place was open 24/7 so took a chance. Gabe was the one who helped me and he did a great job. Since I am with traffic from their office, he immediately called me when he was going to be later than the expected wait time. When he got here, it was an easy process. Locked myself out of my house. I luckily had my phone with me so I could find a locksmith. The first place I called answered the phone as if I was calling her personal phone. I tried to get her to tell me who she was and what service she was offering but I guess she found that offensive. She eventually told me her business worked on cars and locks. And then the quote was pretty high. Called Katz's and they were professional. The guy who answered the phone identified himself and said he had a guy in the area who would call me in 5 minutes. He called in about 2 minutes gave me a price and said he'd be over in 30 minutes, which he was. Apparently my lock was not standard and it took him a while to unlock. But he did it with a smile on his face, in the heat, never got cranky or lost his patience and didn't charge extra for the additional challenge of the lock . I went to the shop to have an electronic key cut so that I could have the dealer program the key to my car. I expressed my frustration about the dealer price of 160$ just to program the key and I was informed that the shop can program the electronic key for 90$. The shop saved me money and they were able to program the key to my car with no issues. I will definitely keep the store in mind for any security work or repair in the future. Found Katz on Yelp with a great rating decided to give them a call. Scheduled my appt. Courtesy call arriving a few minutes late. Gabe and Don showed up on time. I originally wanted to rekey my existing locks, but i guess I was not able to rekey all of them to use the same key. At first I was hesitant, but gave me a good quote on new LSDA locks and would all use the same key. Never heard of LSDA until now. The locks came out great and couldn't be happier.
