Mixed enthusiasm for Panera; enjoying some menu/bakery items, but underwhelmed by portion sizes at…read morehigh prices. Had fantastic experience at this location w/ pu order. Premium Family Feast w/ Cookies value meal proved satisfying w/ something for everyone, at reasonable cost. 2 Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt halves (black pepper focaccia was pillow-y soft amazing!) 2 Bacon Turkey Bravo halves; full Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, "Quart" Broccoli Ched Soup, full baguette, 4 Oatmeal Raisin Berry Cookies. Is it enough for 4? Was just my husband & I & we feasted on it twice! That breaks down to $11.50/pp each meal. Love they include entire baguette in pre-sliced portions (some which I toasted next day w/ eggs.) Meal was thoughtfully packaged w/ everything correct, including requests for heavier or lighter condiments on sandwiches, & salad looking very fresh (but dressing cups need to be fuller). My only gripe, "Premium" Family Feast restricts soup choice, when point of "premium" is to make custom selections. (Also tried Cherry Lime Fresca. I don't do soda/sports drinks- was most refreshing drink ever tacked on to a fast casual meal! Highly Recommend! Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack delish w/ surprisingly tender bagel.) Yes, it's mostly bread (it's in the name) but an indulgent, satisfying, meal. Panera will be a regular stop if they keep quality up & continue value meals.

WOW. First time ever I didn't finish my breakfast. Give it a try, I know you'll find something you'll like. Plan on going back for a loaf of crab bisque next time.

I want to like this place really I do... Its design is…read moreAmericana right down to the 50's rockabilly soundtrack. The service is friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Booth seating is comfortable... But at some point you have to eat the food and that's where the wheels come off the pink Cadillac. I ordered a simple plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries and "indulged" my love for pancakes with one. The overall flavor profile goals here appear to be bland as inspiration. No flavor, no effort beyond putting foodstuffs on a grill. The potatoes are sliced thin then they must be piled high in a corner of the grill waiting their turn to be consumed. Would it hurt to dice an onion or bell pepper to give your peeled russets some flavor besides oil? The pancake? Let's just say, Smuckers syrup in sealed plastic tubs like you were getting them at McDonald's or some fast food joint. Gross. The cakes themselves are lumps of glutenous goo that somehow have even less flavor than the bland home fries. This is a place that values quantity over quality, period. If you are a member of the "Clean Plate Club," you will leave with a full stomach of calorie containing food like substance. As a self-appointed American style diner lover, I have to say, steer clear. If you are in this area looking for breakfast and your only other choice the sad Michaels diner in Douglassville, this is marginally better but you will probably be just as happy if you go to Wawa for breakfast. Probably happier because your expectations will be properly aligned. This place is fun to look at but not to eat at.

We went with another couple and we are "old", noisy environments are not our friend---and this was exceptionally quiet---we could effortlessly carry on a conversation. The food was excellent, as was the service and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the smoked brisket and asked that it not be lean. The waitress told me that the chief trims all the fat off. Apparently the customer comes first has limits, I would have been happier to trim the fat myself----but that is the only (and minor) comment. I also had the chicken livers in a madeira wine sauce, an appetizer that was one of my favorites 40 years ago under former owners---it is still excellent! For an unrushed and enjoyable evening give this a try, you will be rewarded.
