TLDR: Uniqur Asian flavors in gelato-form :D -[COCO DURIAN STICKY RICE KIDS SCOOP] $4.25 +$2 for a kids scoop :( this is the only flavor that seems to have a premium on it, likely due to the use of durian in it. so worth it though even if I, personally, could enjoy a stronger durian flavor haha. It paired well with the coconut flavor and sticky rice incorporated into this gelato flavor. Just wish it didn't leave my wallet so much lighter is all haha Remember to sample their flavors before buying because they often switch them up frequently! Also, some of their more unique flavors are executed in ways that taste like magic (if that even makes sense HAHA)

We'd just eaten a tasty meal and were looking for a sweet treat. We'd heard that Kati was serving up decent gelato with a Thai spin. Who could say no to that? All their flavors sounded very interesting, but we couldn't resist the lure of Milo ("A nostalgic childhood favorite, featuring the rich, chocolatey taste of Milo (chocolate malt powder)"). It's a terrific flavor. It completely captures the taste of Milo, with its blend of malt and chocolate. And it's super creamy, too. It's delicious. I'm very intrigued by the other flavors on offer, so I'll surely be returning soon.

KATI is a cute little Thai dessert spot and bar offering ice cream, toast, Thai snacks, curry noodles, coffee, and cocktails. I tried the pandan toast with ube ice cream (you can choose your ice cream flavour). It was $12.95. The toast was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ube ice cream is made with real ube, no artificial stuff--and was really good. Perfect for sharing with a friend! I went on a Saturday, and it was very empty. There's a self-serve water station with both regular and lemon-infused water, and they accept AMEX. i'd come again to try out their other desserts or if I need a chill place to hang around at.

2.5/5 I was so excited about this place but honestly I was a little let down. Being marketed as owned by Koh Lipe caught my eye because I really enjoy the food there. However, not sure if it's because of the time that we went but all the flavours were super frozen. They were really nice and allowed us to try a lot of the flavours, but none of the flavours landed for me... the mango sticky rice is good but because it was frozen the consistency was off. The Thai green tea is apparently their most popular but neither me nor my partner enjoyed it. Maybe I'll come back in the summer and see if things improve!

Have you ever tried mango sticky rice-flavored ice cream? It's absolutely delicious! The texture is soft and chewy. The purple scoop is Taro flavor. I've gotten tired of the trendy ice cream spots in Toronto, but this place really surprised me! The small steamer basket holds warm, soft bread that you can dip into Pandan and Thai milk tea sauces. I highly recommend everyone try this! wow, you can literally feel the dopamine rush in your brain! The coconut drink is a mocktail, similar to Piña Colada, though there are other cocktail options available too. This place definitely feels like it could become the next hype spot for the coming summer.

Impeccable. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. I ordered the Avocado Salmon Toast paired with the beautifully pink and perfectly named Pink Flamingo drink. My friend went for the Sweet Berry Waffle and a classic lemonade. Let me just say--the flavors did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, creamy avocado was piled high, and the toppings were thoughtfully layered. My only tiny critique (and I say this with love): the toast itself was a little too crispy for my liking. It made the dish a bit tricky to cut into, and the texture leaned dry. Next time, I'll definitely ask for it untoasted or lightly toasted. A softer base would really let those flavors shine without the crunch competing. Now let's talk about that Pink Flamingo--WOW. It was tropical, sweet, and honestly gave me vacation-in-a-glass vibes. I almost ordered a second, but adulting (and budgeting) called me back to reality. That said, it's worth every sip! I snuck a few bites from my friend's Sweet Berry waffles, and yep--I'm getting that next time!! Light, fruity, tasty!! I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get to sample a few more dishes Seriously though--support local and give this place a try. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

The ambiance of the place is spectacular as well with a cool, library naturally, vibe. The servers were also great and helped accommodate my date who is gluten free, and her baguette replacement was the best that she'd ever had of a gluten free option. Good selection of drinks and great customer service. Fun facts: The Royal York Hotel opened in 1929. It hosted royalty, heads of state, and golden-age Hollywood legends like Cary Grant and Alfred Hitchcock when they were in town filming or staying upstairs in the hotel. Stepping inside is like time-traveling back decades, with velvet seating, brass accents, and dark, moody lighting. As soon as you walk into the Library Bar, the real centerpiece that grabs your attention is the massive oil portrait above the fireplace. That dignified gentleman watching you sip your drink is George Locke, the very first chief librarian of the Toronto Public Library. I love that a librarian is the patron saint of this bar! The drinks here aren't just cocktails; they're chapters in a story. The current menu, titled "Ink & Alchemy," is actually inspired by Michael Ondaatje's famous novel In the Skin of a Lion. Created by their award-winning mixologist James Grant, the menu is a tribute to the people who built this city: the immigrants, bridge-builders, thieves, and dreamers. You aren't just sipping a martini; you're drinking a liquid homage to Toronto's history.

The room is small, intentional, and lovely: intimate seating, a sculptural emerald bar, and an atmosphere drawn from the Japanese cocktail tradition. The aesthetic is precise without being cold, and the candle-warm lighting encourages exactly the kind of unhurried conversation that a well-made cocktail deserves. But the bartenders are the true heart of the place. On the evening of my visit, the two behind the bar moved with a remarkable synchrony -- finishing each other's thoughts, trading warmth and wit in equal measure, drawing guests effortlessly into the orbit of their easy rapport. It is the kind of hospitality that cannot be trained into existence; it is either present or it isn't, and here it is very much present. I would not hesitate to come back, but there are some things I would definitely not order again. Not order again: - mozzarella sticks - these were not cheesy, fresh, or flavourful, huge disappointment - prosciutto and zeppole - prosciutto were not very fresh or thinly sliced, weirdly presented with the zeppole on the side Will definitely order again: - heroic dose pasta - the pasta was so fresh, great sauce and plenty of mushrooms (my favourite dish) - NYC spicy rigatoni - really good flavours and the pasta texture was perfect (also homemade) - Caesar salad - so creamy and I think they make the sauce in house bc I tasted a hint of the anchovy umami flavour The pesto pasta was pretty good too. And so were all the pizzas. I can't comment much on the pizzas because I was heavily focused on their homemade pasta. Everyone enjoyed the pizzas though. The only things that was bad were the two appetizers we got. They also offer an extensive list of drinks - beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails. I really like this spot and will definitely be back!
