We had old red oak floors that needed to be stained, another area with maple floors that needed to match the red oak stain, a room that required full wood replacement, a complicated subfloor/leveling situation, full base board replacement throughout the house, and he absolutely delivered! From start to finish, he brought me along through every step, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure I felt completely informed throughout the project. Also, maple is famously a very complicated wood to stain and they are breathtaking! Completely even finish that has completely elevated my house. He clearly holds himself to an incredibly high standard and the results truly reflect that. The craftsmanship is exceptional, the products he uses are high quality, and it's obvious he genuinely cares about doing the job the right way. My floors are honestly my favorite thing I've done in my new house! I wish every contractor I worked with had the same thoughtfull, diligent, and professional approach that Igor takes. By mid-June, the same crack came back, so I called him and he came out again on July 8th to fix it, saying that if this fix didn't hold, he'd do a permanent "patch" to take care of it for good. The crack was back by July 9th. I contacted him again, and he scheduled a visit for July 20th -- but never showed up. I made every effort to get this resolved, reaching out multiple times by both text and voicemail. I made a bold effort to pay extra too -- I never expected the third fix to be free and said so clearly in my messages. I just wanted the crack permanently fixed, and was willing to pay for it. Despite all that, I got no response at all. It's been over a month with nothing. I really wanted to like this company -- Joe seemed professional, the work looked solid initially, and he did come back the first time without hassle. But ultimately being ghosted after being told he'd make it right, even when I offered to pay, is a dealbreaker. Can't recommend based on how this ended.

My cat knocked it over, the liquid spilled on the top overnight, and it completely bubbled up and stripped the stain and varnish. I found Wood Wizzard Refinishing on Nextdoor and saw a bunch of great reviews, then looked them up online and found even more good feedback. I sent in a request with photos through their website and heard back almost immediately with a very reasonable quote that even included pickup and delivery.
