I did not suppose in my wildest dreams it would look this good. He cleaned my shower doors (no charge) because they marred his vision of my shower's final look. He removed stains on my shower seals and removed all old caulk and recaulked everything. He changed caulk colors according to what was being sealed. Nice touch. My marble and granite countertops look amazing. The porcelain shower and marble shower looks stellar. And, he sealed my granite, marble, and stone after cleaning and doing an abrasion process on the granite and marble to remove any nicks. I had not touched any of these areas except to clean them periodically. He made recommendations on products to use to keep everything looking new. He and his coworker also kept things very clean, and covered everything in plastic while working with the marble. They exceeded all of our expectations…read more We redid a few rooms of flooring (including one bathroom), changed out a lot of the trim, and upgraded the stairs from carpet to hardwood. Peter is probably one of the most professional contractors I've ever hired. He confirmed the start of the project the day before, showed up on time every day of our 3-4 day project, finished at a decent hour (so we could have our evenings to ourselves), and kept me informed about the progress of the project every step of the way. Everything was contracted and professionally handled in terms of invoicing. He made suggestions for how to improve the appearance of our home in certain places and gave us up-front pricing about every additional change we could add on if we wanted (we took all of his suggestions and so glad we did!). He paid such great attention to detail, fixing so many errors throughout the house that previously were there...things I didn't even know needed fixing! So many of our doors were not sealed correctly and the flooring was all a mess, they fixed it all for us. This was a big project for us - we saved for a whole year for this project - I am so happy we chose to work with IDC. I feel like he actually cared about us, something that is rare to find in people these days! Will definitely call them again for any future projects and will be referring to friends.
