So I indulged in a large fries...and shared with my husband. They were SO GOOD! Crunchy outside, soft and pillowy inside. Some restaurants in TO don't know how to cook fresh cut fries and sometimes they are mealy inside or downright hard (undercooked) but this fry truck is the answer when you have a craving for delicious hot fresh tasty fries. I will be back soon and bring my son, who also loves a good fry. They have so many condiments for you to put in top too! The lady that served me was so sweet and kind. This is bonus in this big city. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries from the super nice, mustachioed guys inside. They listened to classical music while the fryers were going, which was unexpected and quite nice. :) First, the burger. Don't order one. It's wretched. Nasty mass-produced patty, Costco-quality bun, anemic slice of tomato, sad little lettuce leaf. I took one bite and tossed it. On the other hand, the fries were the best I've ever had. I'm not kidding, they're absolutely delicious. They're chunky cut, skin on, and fried a crispy, beautiful brown. I don't care that the generous portion of fries probably equalled twice my daily calorie allotment. I ate every single one. From the other people crowded around the truck, I learned that I should have had the poutine -- it's supposed to be fabulous. They also have hot dogs and sausages, which I hope taste better than their burger. That said, I'm actually looking forward to being on campus again on Monday just so I can eat more of their delicious frites. Yes, I'm crazy. Crazy about the Blue Chip Truck! Our usual vendor was not available and so we decided to give them a try. There was a bit of some communication gap between us and the two ladies as we wanted the grill to be clean. Luckily as we were the first nothing had been grilled. The fresh fries were good and they are provided with no salt. There are plenty of usual sauces and toppings for the hot dog. Hot sauce is kept behind the counter. The hot dog was grilled well and it was hot throughout. There is a 10% surcharge which is huge and totally unnecessary IMO, I would rather pay a flat fee of 50c or a $1. Taxes are all included which is good.

Not recommended for kids as mine are weak (haha) and said it was to spicy. Me and the wife really enjoyed it. Ordered a regular jerk chicken and an oxtail with extra gravy. Didn't need the extra gravy though as the food is really tasty. First the jerk chicken on rice with slaw. Chicken is cooked to perfection and is really moist. The flavour in the sauce was so good. The refreshing slaw balanced it out nicely. The oxtail, good portion of fall off the bone oxtail. Wife said she would prefer if the tail was a bit softer but I liked the cook on it and it is my review :). That was enough food for us and now I am really full but very satisfied i got to try it. I will be back as I still want to try the jerk fries and to try the other items on the menu.
