I 100% would attest to the Sugar Baby Wax giving you "the best Brazilian", as they advertise. From the ease of booking an appointment, to the kind nature and waxing talents of Kasi, to the clean and welcoming environment they offer, they are definitely worth trying. This was my first Brazilian waxing, and upon searching for the best salons to do so, I found Sugar Baby Wax; it stood out from the competition with its already great reviews, and stood out to me especially because their hours fit my schedule at the time. It was a great experience from the very beginning. The website I found from my Google search was easy to navigate, and I was able to make an appointment late at night (outside of their operating hours) right then and there. Their system releases confirmations in the form of e-mails and texts, and also does the same for reminders. What convenience! When I arrived, I met Kasi, who I selected upon scheduling the appointment. Kasi was not only extremely personable, but she made sure to read my notes you are allowed to add in the data field when making an appointment. I simply stated that I was so nervous, as this was my first time! She reassured me there was nothing to be nervous about, and took me back to the waxing room and continued to make me feel super comfortable about the whole situation; even to the point where we were having a spirited conversation about men! (No shade thrown, gentlemen...just clearing that up!) ;) She used their special treatment before waxing, and during the process the pain wasn't intolerable (everyone's different, but I was informed and read that you will feel less pain each time you go--it's waxing, there's only so much pain that can be prevented!). ;) She was very thorough, and did not make me get into any weird positions; I've read about others who disliked this from other waxing salons, so I felt it is worth mentioning. After the very time-efficient appointment (I was done MUCH sooner than I thought I would be), she waited for me to get decent and and met me right outside. At this time, I paid. The salon brings the device to you, instead of you having to go to the front desk in order for everyone to have some privacy, especially since it serves both men and women. I have booked another appointment, and my nervousness about the whole situation has dissolved. I would not recommend going to Kasi Wax for a number of reasons. 1. Ditzy staff. The location moved from where it's shown on Google maps. When I called the directions they gave me to get there was terrible. If you do go, just go down the corridor next to Peloton. 2. One I checked in I was taken to a room. Then I got a call from Kasi Wax saying that they wanted to push my appointment back 30 minutes because someone booked online. But I'm already in the room. It was the same girl who just checked me in who called. She told me later she was trying to call someone else. 3. The waxer was really forcing conversation about the weather and what I do when she needed to focus on waxing. I get waxed every month and this was the most painful wax I've experienced in awhile. I felt like I was burning afterward. 4. The waxing table was like really cushy where you sink in. I didn't like it. 5. The setup has like three fake walls that don't go up to the ceiling. You can hear everything and there was a vent where I could hear chatter from another store. The pros: 1. They have snacks when you check in 2. Location at Tysons mall 3. Sugar Baby Wax is the only place I'll go for a Brazilian. I got my first waxing at the Alexandria location, but after my go to esthetician left (and a horrible experience with the new esthetician at Alexandria) I switched to the Tyson's location. I saw Rhonda on a whim and I'm so happy I did! She has a great presence and bed side manner. Rhonda is very thorough and still quick. I've been getting Brazilian's for about 1.5 years now and my best experience has been with Rhonda by far. Waxing can be an uncomfortable experience, however I've never been uncomfortable with Rhonda. She is great at what she does and it has never been painful (even when I went a few extra weeks in btwn appointments). Not only does Rhonda have a great personality that puts you at ease. She is truly knowledgeable about skin care and happily shares that knowledge. Since I started going to Rhonda, I have had less in grown hairs. Rhonda is a must see! Indira is absolutely amazing!!' Just from a professional standpoint alone, She is so thorough and so and efficient with her time she makes the appointment fast and I walk in and out in about 20 mts. She has accommodated my schedule every time, and has helped me treat and fix* a constant area of skin sensitivity I've always had with ingrown hair follicles (and just having very sensitive skin in general) with ONE product that actually worked. I can't tell you how indebted I am to her just for that! ...On every other standpoint, she's such a sweetheart and we chit chat through the appointment it's literally over before I know it. I've been coming here for about a year now and I have never been disappointed with my services. I started coming here because it was close to my work and they could fit me in for a quick brow wax during my lunch - Rhonda didn't just wax my brows and get me out of there, she took the time to even them out (they have different arches) and get to know my daily routine for my brows. I walked out of there and received so many compliments on my brows that I knew I'd found a great salon and a wonderful waxer. I've been back a number of times for bikini and brazilian waxes as well and she is perfection! One thing I adore is that Rhonda makes it a point to get to know her clients - I'm always greeted with a huge hug and we catch up while I'm getting my services. I had an awesome Brazilian waxing experience with Lauren. This was only my third time getting waxed (in general), but I noticed several differences between her level of service and technique; as compared to the place I previously went. The client assessment was thorough, and she explained each step of service before and during; also sharing after care tips. The salon was clean, tidy, and welcoming. I felt at ease seeing that there was no double dipping, and that she was careful to wax in a way that caused minimal discomfort. I had a Brazilian wax done with Kasi here and it's the best wax I've had (and I've had about 10 done). Sugar baby wax in tysons is a little gem that's hidden in a salon next to old navy within the mall. Once I was called back Kasi was very personable and easy to talk to. She kept the conversation flowing and interesting to take my mind off the wax and it was done in less than 10 minutes easily! She explains the different lotions and wax materials so you know the benefits of what you're getting. Although as a new client it was $65 being the priciest wax I've gotten, the next times its $10 cheaper and almost definitely worth the extra money. i have gone to nisha for a brazilian twice. both times i was extremely pleased. she's very thorough, funny, and makes you feel very comfortable. the talking definitely helps take your mind off what's going on. she goes back several times to check to see if there are any places that she missed, and i leave with not a single stray hair to be seen. i never feel like she is rushing, but she also does not take too long and will place a hand on the more sensitive spots immediately after pulling off the strip, which really helps minimize the pain. the potion she puts on after the whole procedure is very cooling and soothing, and by the time i'm getting dressed, there is literally zero residual pain. i feel lucky to have found her! read more

Rhonda is a godsend. She literally has me hooked on the wax routine which, before going here, would have never happened. Ever. I have been searching for the answer to waxing pain for years now and finally found it! Rhonda is very detailed and takes her time, she applies different types of wax based on hair growth, texture, etc. so you know you are getting a personalized service. I am a big fan of the chocolate wax they use here. She also goes as far as to talk you out of your anxiety and makes the otherwise incredibly awkward experience enjoyable and more than tolerable. My first time at Sugar baby waxes was an awesome experience. It was a spare of the moment type of thing. Trying a new spot and immediately she made me feel welcomed when inquiring if they took walk-ins. I was seen by Lauren who took care of my full Brazilian. Amazing waxing experience! I was ready to get my brows cleaned up, and get rid of my mustache, and I happened upon Kasi, and I was walking by. Just walking in, it's warm and inviting, and the front desk rep was friendly and accommodating. She also kept my wait time very short, despite me being a walk in. My wax technician Indira was fantastic. She did not jump right in, she actually evaluated the shape of my brows, and asked me if I wanted more of a clean up or reshaping. I freaking love this place!!! I love all their staff and their service is absolutely professional. I started going there about a year ago and to this day I have been satisfied. What is best about it is that they accept walk-ins. With my hectic constantly changing schedule it's always great to have a place to go to and know they will see me (even if it's last minutes). During my last two visits, I have seen Indira and Sammy and they are both lovely. I have gotten my Brazilian, legs and brows down by them. I have now had 4 sessions at Kasi Wax. Pooja is wonderful, very quick but is also thorough. She really cares about getting every hair out and making things easier next session. She made me feel comfortable and kept me talking to distract from the pain. She would also pause for a bit if it got to be too much. All in all it took about 35 minutes for both a Brazilian and my underarms. The salon is also clean and professional. I book my sessions online which is nice because it automatically sets you up with a calendar invite but if you need to do a walk-in, there is likely someone available. AMAZING!! That is all I can say Kasi is a waxing goddess. I used to get Brazilians years ago and they were so awful that I swore I'd never go back because I assumed it was all the same.
