It did hurt a lot back then, so I was kind of worried about the pain this time. Jane is very sweet. She used numbing cream frequently, so I didn't feel pain. I think she uses strong numbing cream which I appreciate. When she did my lips, I even slept . When she was wiping out ink, it irritated my eyelids because it was repeating process, but I totally understand that it is process of doing tattoo. I love the result. My eyebrows and eyeliner looks very natural. I love my lip color too. This saves my time tremendously in the morning for makeup. Jane is a perfectionist and spent a lot of time for small detail, even with the touch up sessions. If you are thinking about doing permanent makeup, try this place. You will not regret it.

I would not recommend going to Kasi Wax for a number of reasons. 1. Ditzy staff. The location moved from where it's shown on Google maps. When I called the directions they gave me to get there was terrible. If you do go, just go down the corridor next to Peloton. 2. One I checked in I was taken to a room. Then I got a call from Kasi Wax saying that they wanted to push my appointment back 30 minutes because someone booked online. But I'm already in the room. It was the same girl who just checked me in who called. She told me later she was trying to call someone else. 3. The waxer was really forcing conversation about the weather and what I do when she needed to focus on waxing. I get waxed every month and this was the most painful wax I've experienced in awhile. I felt like I was burning afterward. 4. The waxing table was like really cushy where you sink in. I didn't like it. 5. The setup has like three fake walls that don't go up to the ceiling. You can hear everything and there was a vent where I could hear chatter from another store. The pros: 1. They have snacks when you check in 2. Location at Tysons mall 3. Sugar Baby Wax is the only place I'll go for a Brazilian. I got my first waxing at the Alexandria location, but after my go to esthetician left (and a horrible experience with the new esthetician at Alexandria) I switched to the Tyson's location. I saw Rhonda on a whim and I'm so happy I did! She has a great presence and bed side manner. Rhonda is very thorough and still quick. I've been getting Brazilian's for about 1.5 years now and my best experience has been with Rhonda by far. Waxing can be an uncomfortable experience, however I've never been uncomfortable with Rhonda. She is great at what she does and it has never been painful (even when I went a few extra weeks in btwn appointments). Not only does Rhonda have a great personality that puts you at ease. She is truly knowledgeable about skin care and happily shares that knowledge. Since I started going to Rhonda, I have had less in grown hairs. Rhonda is a must see! If she leaves I'd happily follow her to the next salon. read more

Indira is absolutely amazing!!' Just from a professional standpoint alone, She is so thorough and so and efficient with her time she makes the appointment fast and I walk in and out in about 20 mts. She has accommodated my schedule every time, and has helped me treat and fix* a constant area of skin sensitivity I've always had with ingrown hair follicles (and just having very sensitive skin in general) with ONE product that actually worked. I can't tell you how indebted I am to her just for that! ...On every other standpoint, she's such a sweetheart and we chit chat through the appointment it's literally over before I know it. I had an awesome Brazilian waxing experience with Lauren. This was only my third time getting waxed (in general), but I noticed several differences between her level of service and technique; as compared to the place I previously went. The client assessment was thorough, and she explained each step of service before and during; also sharing after care tips. The salon was clean, tidy, and welcoming. I felt at ease seeing that there was no double dipping, and that she was careful to wax in a way that caused minimal discomfort. I could not believe how fast she was; she was also thoughtful enough to continuously check on my level of comfort. Needless to say, I've already scheduled my next appointment! I had a Brazilian wax done with Kasi here and it's the best wax I've had (and I've had about 10 done). Sugar baby wax in tysons is a little gem that's hidden in a salon next to old navy within the mall. Once I was called back Kasi was very personable and easy to talk to. She kept the conversation flowing and interesting to take my mind off the wax and it was done in less than 10 minutes easily! She explains the different lotions and wax materials so you know the benefits of what you're getting. Although as a new client it was $65 being the priciest wax I've gotten, the next times its $10 cheaper and almost definitely worth the extra money. i have gone to nisha for a brazilian twice. both times i was extremely pleased. she's very thorough, funny, and makes you feel very comfortable. the talking definitely helps take your mind off what's going on. she goes back several times to check to see if there are any places that she missed, and i leave with not a single stray hair to be seen. i never feel like she is rushing, but she also does not take too long and will place a hand on the more sensitive spots immediately after pulling off the strip, which really helps minimize the pain. the potion she puts on after the whole procedure is very cooling and soothing, and by the time i'm getting dressed, there is literally zero residual pain. i feel lucky to have found her! read more

Aside from their waxing services, the best thing about this place is the online booking and their flexibility to still be able to accommodate me when I'm tardy. I 100% recommend this place! Rhonda is a godsend. She literally has me hooked on the wax routine which, before going here, would have never happened. Ever. I have been searching for the answer to waxing pain for years now and finally found it! Rhonda is very detailed and takes her time, she applies different types of wax based on hair growth, texture, etc. so you know you are getting a personalized service. I am a big fan of the chocolate wax they use here. She also goes as far as to talk you out of your anxiety and makes the otherwise incredibly awkward experience enjoyable and more than tolerable. Trying a new spot and immediately she made me feel welcomed when inquiring if they took walk-ins. I was seen by Lauren who took care of my full Brazilian. Amazing waxing experience! I was ready to get my brows cleaned up, and get rid of my mustache, and I happened upon Kasi, and I was walking by. Just walking in, it's warm and inviting, and the front desk rep was friendly and accommodating. She also kept my wait time very short, despite me being a walk in. My wax technician Indira was fantastic. She did not jump right in, she actually evaluated the shape of my brows, and asked me if I wanted more of a clean up or reshaping. I freaking love this place!!! I love all their staff and their service is absolutely professional. I started going there about a year ago and to this day I have been satisfied. What is best about it is that they accept walk-ins. With my hectic constantly changing schedule it's always great to have a place to go to and know they will see me (even if it's last minutes). I have been getting a Brazilian every six weeks with Poojah at KASI for a couple of years now and she is the best!!! I had been traveling for a while and so I missed my usually six week appointment and I went to see her yesterday and I remember why I don't go to anyone else. She is really experienced, quick, efficient, professional, detailed, and makes what is normally painful and sometimes uncomfortable, very quick and comfortable- hard to do when getting a Brazilian and I have gotten them done in so many places. When I heard that Sugar Baby Wax was opening in Tyson's Corner I was happy, but when I saw KASI was there I was ecstatic. KASI is simply the best out there! Thorough, clean and good service! The brazilian wax here was hands-down the best I've ever had, and I am a long-time waxer. I've had waxes done throughout the DMV and what sets this place apart is the thoroughness of the service. My this is my first visit to Sugar Baby waxing for a Brazilian. Kasi was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and at ease and chatted with me throughout the procedure. I am in love Sugar Baby Wax! I've been to all 3 locations--each is excellent, but Tysons is the closest to me. They don't use hard wax or sugaring. Instead, they've created a hydrating "candy" wax and it's amazing! Kasi has been my esthetician for awhile now and I couldn't be happier that she's heading the Tysons location! I was terrified to get a wax for the first time, but Pooja made me feel completely comfortable with her kindness and patience. She was very gentle although you can't really avoid pain in certain spots. Even with that being said, she did everything she could to make sure I was not crying tears of regret :) The whole atmosphere of the place was very nice and calming. I actually stopped going to Heather for a year or so because it was difficult to set up appointments with her since I worked in DC. However, now that my schedule is a little more flexible, I switched back to getting waxes by Heather. I'm really glad that I did because she's super sweet and deserves the business. I recently came in to get my arms, legs, and a Brazilian wax done and time flew by so fast because of our conversation. I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point during the waxing session (all of this came out to $170). Prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion. I used to go to one of the waxing chains in Ashburn, and I can definitely tell you that service + price at Voda Spa is way more deserving of my business. Heather also does facials :) I really hope to get a facial done by her sometime soon too. They sounded awesome when I asked her about them, and the fact they all include extractions to get all that gunky stuff out of your skin sounds appealing. In summary, reasonable prices, cozy environment, and excellent customer service. P.S. Weekends can be super hard to book with Heather, so if you need weekend appointments, book them at least 3 weeks in advance. Also, the door to enter Voda Spa is on the side of the building. I'm always greeted warmly by the receptionist and have never had a long wait for my service(s). The salon is clean, quaint, and neat. You will have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the salon. For a Brazilian appointment I'm always out in about 30 minutes. The service is neat and as comfortable as can be and I like coming to BareSkin because I have limited discomfort during my waxing. The products and techniques the staff employs is phenomenal and they truly care about skincare maintenance in between appointments. There is paid street parking nearby but I recommend earlier appointments for more parking openings (the salon is located in Old Town Alexandria) $$

She has great attention to detail, and the space is always clean, relaxing, and comfortable. Before going to Lalla, I dealt with a lot of ingrowns and discoloration, but her technique is amazing. She is quick, thorough, and always leaves my skin in great shape. I also love purchasing the packages because they offer a slight discount on repeat services. More space has been added where the former body scrub room and the massage room use to be. Gone is the dark look of what I remember at this store. It is light. It is bright. The ambience in the place is just right. You now have the option of having your hair cut for both man and women. The option of having laser hair removal can now be done too. Today I would have liked get a full body scrub and massage for $170, but this is not the case. No, today I had a manicure with Holly herself. I also had my hands and feet buffed; as well. I saw Rose (The former owner of the now Holly Nails) today, and she was rocking a new hair style. She seemed happy to see me, but I think she was with a client so she did not stick around for long. The other lady there seems familiar to me, but I can't remember where we have met before. The manicure went by without a hitch, but I was craving more. All in good time I will be back for another experience. I will contact Holly for my next appointment. My hands and feet feel much better.

That's how much I trusted them. Some girl did the sloppiest work. My brows are not symmetrical in any way, and she left gel on ONE BROW. This is worse than being consistently bad. Raising expectations and failing to meet them, when I have an important meeting in hours, unforgivable. If you recognize the person inside, they're good. If some stranger is there, you're playing eyebrow roulette. This cannot even be repaired. I'm just screwed. And I trusted them.

Right around the corner there's a school with free street parking throughout the day except for busy traffic times. - Getting there: Once you enter, you need to go up the stairs and turn left. - Payments: This place takes card, Zelle, or cash! - Walk-Ins: Again, walk-ins are recommended, which makes it so convenient.
