I recently moved to the area, and I'm so grateful that I discovered her practice! Dr. Holder recommended Fraxel to treat some of the issues I had been experiencing. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, and she ensured I would be comfortable during the procedure (I've already been back for the second of three treatments...so she kept her promise!) I'm not only thrilled with the results of my treatments but also thrilled to be a part of her practice. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work, deep knowledge, and commitment to her patients are all remarkable. She also spent an incredible amount of time getting to know me before she said a word about my skin concerns. And when I sent one of my family members to her practice, they came away loving her just as much as I do. I wasn't surprised. :) I love that Holder was raised right here in Park Slope. It was clear from the first few minutes of our initial conversation that she cares deeply about this community and her patients. Dr. Holder is a gem--and she is right here in Park Slope. I'll never go anywhere else. :)

Here's what I've experienced at this practice and why I recommend it so wholeheartedly: - I first came to Dr. Holder's practice in 2023, wanting to try botox for the first time. It was a new experience, and Dr. Holder listened carefully to understand my expectations and then patiently talked me through everything that I should expect. The way she directs her team before, during, and after procedures instills so much confidence, especially for first time patients. - At the beginning of this year, hormones were wreaking havoc on my skin and giving me with terrible acne and rosacea. Fed up, I sent Dr. Holder's office an email, and they agreed to see me right away. They were so responsive and reassuring. Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Holder doesn't try to sell a custom line of products -- she just thoughtfully directs you to a routine using good old fashioned French pharmacy products and prescriptions when needed. - I've seen Dr. Holder for peels and laser treatments, and I'm just so grateful for how thorough and detail-oriented she is in each of these procedures. She takes prep and after care very seriously. She looks closely at the treatment areas, takes her time, and talks through the treatment so that there are no surprises or unexpected discomfort. Truly amazing bedside manner that instills so much confidence. - Dr. Holder's team is just as amazing as she is. All of the staff are communicative, warm, and hospitable. They're also incredibly smart, detail-oriented, and thoughtful during procedures -- hardly a surprise, but such a rare experience in this city. Since I started seeing Dr. Holder, my skin is noticeably brighter, my complexion is more even, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I have some control over my skin sensitivities. I'm so glad I found this practice, and I hope Dr. Holder never retires!

I told the person who I believe is their manager that I'm not going to tip for a medical service administered by a licensed nurse, and he gave me pushback. Bizarre. Given the high turnover of injectors here, I've wondered if they're paying their nurses adequately or making them depend on tips like restaurant workers. Other than that, the service is fine and the discounts are great, but I haven't gone here since the more experienced injectors left. They don't advertise the credentials of their staff, so I've had to sleuth on social media to gauge how qualified and experienced the listed nurses are. Not a good sign.

Do not recommend unless you really have your eye on a service you want to purchase at a discount. We showed up early as tons of people showed up. They had a digital sign-up list for all the different stations like free manicure, spray tan, brow lamination, mini facials. After waiting over an hour, we checked on our place in the line wondering why we hadn't been called yet. They had abandoned the waitlist because of technical issues without notifying everyone who was on it and waiting. My friend waited the entire time (over 3 hours) for the manicure only to be rushed out by the staff who just wanted to go home when it was their fault in the first place that we had to wait so long. They were extremely annoying about it too and in the end my friend wasted an evening when we made the effort to show up early and sign up, and purchased a deal. I was able to get a brow lamination and spray time in the meanwhile and both vendors they hired were professional.

They aren't even making an effort to make it right with a written reply. As you can see in my screenshot and in their reply it says "Sincerely Heights Aesthetic Center. What ChatGPT doesn't realize is that they have not reaponded to any of my communication except for this review. And, stating the obvious, they didn't provide alternatives.

Laser removal was done in the wrong area at their second location was dismissed and compared to having a bad hair day at the salon, kept getting addressed by the wrong name, and told that mentioning being sick required me to get tested for Covid even if symptoms were unrelated to get rid of me. Due to this review, they decided to cancel a paid session and two others without a refund; I was also told I was no longer welcomed and threatened with police force if I didn't stop requesting one. They even attempted to coerce me into signing legal paperwork to get this negative review and others removed if I wanted to receive a tiny fraction refunded from what I was initially promised. I know this is one negative review from the wave of positive reviews they have but use your logic. Do you want services from a place that expresses itself as such? Do you believe people are traveling from other states for their treatments? Mistreats their customers when things go wrong? And then scams them when you genuinely express their experiences? There are much better options out there. Customer service etiquette adds to the value of a company. This review is based on interactions I had with this company since Aug 29 and how disgusting their reaction was since I left a negative review. And yes, they are allowed to refuse services, but that should be followed with a refund. Refusing to do so, which they did, is called fraud. For anyone, having similar issues, please contact New York State Attorney General, FCC, and file cases with small claims. --- RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT -- Thankfully, there's an email screenshot where you agreed to take over my sessions passed on from your second location. So get lost with your condescending attitude. The owner of these locations should stop scamming and coercing people into signing legal paperwork to avoid negative reviews. -- Reviews are updated periodically --
