I saw Diane and she really listened to the areas that I wanted to focus on and what I was looking to achieve from the session. The space is really nice, with comfy heated beds and good sized, private, rooms where the treatments take place. The prices are a little high (I paid $140 for a 60 minute massage) but you really do get what you paid for. I will definitely be making a massage here part of my regular routine. One thing I would also flag is that to access the studio you do need to walk down some steps, so not very accessibility friendly. Obviously not their fault but just something to be aware of if you plan to visit.

However I don't know if it's because these students have professors working with them but I've found the quality of the massage to be better than some spas. In a perfect world I'd get massage done in a medical massage office but since my insurance doesn't cover it this clinic is the next best thing. Sometimes it's hard being middle class and properly taking care of your body. ASA's clinic is great. The only downside is that every 16 weeks I have to find a new student therapist but that's a minor problem in the greater scope of things. Also the Professors make finding a new student therapist that matches what I need very easily.

Since I prefer deep tissue, the training they provide is ideal for me. Every 6 months there is a new set of students. Most of the time you have someone else massaging you. Since I started going 2+ years ago, the talent has gotten better and better. Wish some of the students stick around much longer as they are absolutely amazing. The only negative is that I can only book appointments once a month, so that they can accommodate the other clients. Fortunately, when they are not fully booked for a time, they send a mass email to clients and everyone is able to participate. I treasure those times when I'm fast enough to respond. This is my go to place for a high quality massage in the area.

I booked with Vincent for my third visit after reading reviews about his ability with shoulder pain specifically. After two visits with Vincent over the course of 3 -4 months, my shoulder pain has gone away. Crazy thing is I don't even know when it went away. But I do know that after both visits I felt better circulation. Something, I can't say what exactly, but something always felt better. I did like the first two therapists and felt I was on the right track with sports massage, but I had the best connection with Vincent. One year later, which was last week, I went to see him again for overall upper body health and circulation. Vincent is professional, kind, and is knowledgeable about human physiology.
