I want them to keep being a simple, straightforward, unpretentious, accessible massage spot that offers killer service. They are very good at what they do. As other reviewers have noted, this is a no-frills establishment and a bit eccentric in that sense, but the prices are a steal, and everyone who works there is kind. Make sure you choose to come here with the correct expectations: You are paying less than $100 for an hour long massage. You will get an INCREDIBLE massage done by someone who is very skilled and professional! But at that amazing price, don't be greedy. You will not get a private "room" (they are separated by curtains, so you can hear everyone around you), everything is a little shabby, and the place will probably be busy and feel a bit cramped. If you consider any of that to be a dealbreaker, this place isn't for you. Which is fine, because the rest of us who like it for what it is have less appointment competition! I went here after dealing with back and shoulder pain for almost a week from sleeping in the wrong position, so I was badly in need of getting some knots fixed. The part where they use the hot stones at the end -- oh my goodness, it was incredible! (I was slightly taken aback when the masseuse straddled me since I wasn't expecting that or asked/given a heads up, but she was completely professional and seriously, the massage was amazing from start to finish.) It took a day or two for the effects to fully kick in from the massage, but once they did, all the pain I had been experiencing went away. So grateful for that! I will definitely be returning.

Owner did share that there would be surcharges for using a card. Location is clean and accessible. Plenty of street parking. Just be aware that on Fridays from Sept- Nov the street parking is canceled for Open Streets NYC where folks dine in the street so you'll have to use the side streets. Arrived at 4:00 PM and was seen immediately. Amy my masseuse instructed me to remove all clothing( except underwear ) and lay face down on the massage table. I settled in as spa sounds and lemongrass scent helped me to relax into the ambiance of the space . She gave me a dry rub for the first 10 mins ( sheets on). She then applied her first layer of oil and with the right amount of pressure worked out my trigger points and knots in sections. She then applied a second layer of scented oil and gave a deeper level of rub. There were plenty of really painful moments but not because of her. I had been holding a lot of tension in my mid back. Over the next 30-40 mins she worked each area intentionally and then applied the hot stone and gave me a soothing rub for an additional 10 mins leading to the end of our session. I took one star away because in comparison to another establishment, the massage wasn't as complete. There were areas that were completely overlooked, such as my thigh. Also, some practices allow you to add on the foot massage for an additional price. At this location, I wasn't offered that option. If you know about reflexology, you know how important the feet are and so addressing the larger parts of the body and neglecting the feet isn't holistic. I'd probably return but design my package myself ( as much as they'd allow). Again, fairly good massage- just not complete satisfaction.

Their sidewalk prices reflect their cash price for services, pre-tax and pre-tip, and they'll direct you to the enormous ATM machine positioned right at the desk where you settle up to make the point that they prefer (sometimes will only accept) cash. That's not subtle, but it's fine i guess. But then when it comes to tipping, it's so interesting-- even if you volunteer a 20% tip on the credit card price, they will tell you it's not enough, will do something on a calculator behind the desk and then show you a number on the calculator that is more like 28-30% tip. If you protest and say something along the lines of "I'm so sorry, that's not correct- i teach math, i understand percents, that is not a 20% tip. What i gave you was a 20% tip. The customer decides the tip," they argue and basically play chicken with you until you give in or leave feeling like they and everyone still getting their feet rubbed behind you think that you are a down-dirty thief or something. It's like they're banking on your discomfort and post-massage brain fuzz to get a 30% tip. I watched them do this to one customer during the foot part of my last massage and then heard them do it to another customer while i was getting my back worked on during the same visit... and then, yep, they did it to me, too. I gave them what they wanted, knowing i would never, ever be back, and that i would probably stop going to their sister massage spot a few blocks away even though I've been a regular there for 18 years and really like their massages. I wasn't going to post a review about this-- that last visit where they challenged my math was actually 5 months ago, i just walked away and committed to not going there anymore-- but i overheard two young women in a restaurant talking about this happening to them today, too, and wondering how they messed up the tipping so bad. It's not you, bebes, it seems to be the business model unfortunately. It wasn't always this way, but at least since November 2025, it seems to be a common occurrence. Check the reviews- it's mentioned in several other reviews besides mine, too. It's a shame. It gives basic, nuts-and-bolts tui-na spots a bad rep. So: Stay away. Or at least go in prepared with your own enormous calculator that you can wave around back in their face to show the actual math.

I must admit; I lived in Bed-Stuy for a good amount of years. I would literally walk by this shop every single day with thoughts of wonder and curiosity. I guess during those times, my budget was tight. I knew entering this place would mean I have to dish out some disposable cash that I didn't have. But I was always curious about the N-Diya experience. Fast forward into today. I was chilling at Le Paris Dakar and had extra time to burn before I picked up my son when I instantly thought "it would be a good idea to get a massage." I looked across the street and thought to self "N-Diya. I'm going to call them now." I didn't think I was going to get anyone but someone (it was Safiya) picked up the phone. I asked if it was possible to make a same day appointment for an aromatherapy massage and she booked me for the next hour. I was so excited. I entered the cozy and quaint parlor and there was another customer in there, who was on his way out. She then greeted me and asked if I was ready. I said of course. The massage experience was definitely what I needed. I was definitely tense in certain areas (which she paid close attention to). She used one of her body butters and let me tell you...I noticed a huge skin difference. I had some scars from being in the hospital (bandaid and electrode scars from the EKG leads) and they literally look lighter! I observed this when I got home. I was trying certain products from Duane Reade and Walgreens and nothing worked except for the body butter she used during the massage. Wow. I was checking out the website for the skin products and the ingredients are super natural. You can pronounce all the words; no synthetic mumbo-jumbo. I am making plans to purchase a few skin care items this week. The aromatherapy massage was priced in a standard way and depending on my budget, I might incorporate it into my pampering routine now and then. But as far as the products go, I am definitely becoming a long time customer.
