My dog doesn't have the best manners - but they see him for the big love that he is. They smile as big as he does when they see each other. They remember tiny details about his silly personality quirks. (Usually just seeing him once a year for a few days) They care for all of his needs and bring him so much joy. The first time they even texted details about his day to help us feel more comfortable leaving him at a new place. Every time he comes home from Sylvan, we can tell he misses all the friends he made at the kennel - human and other dog friends. Honestly, we would never consider taking him anywhere else at this point. Pro tip - the grooming and nail trimming service is worth every penny - and such a reasonable cost.

My dog was traumatized and abused by the woman who owns this business that is run from her home…read more One of her neighbors warned me of her abusive treatment of dogs using a stick to beat them in the knees, and using high voltage shock discipline for training to the point they pass out and lose control of bodily functions from the pain. I didn't want to believe it, but just in case ... I arranged with that neighbor to let me spend a few hours at their place after dropping off my dog. Their home is right next door to this Excelon. I could easily see the business property and kennel and training areas through the surrounding border of trees. After only a half hour I saw the Excelon woman come out to begin "training" session. She gave the command sit to the small/medium size dog but the dog looked at her as if he didn't understand. She then touched him on the head with a large silcer wand that resebled a cattle prod and she laughed ... she laughed as he screamed in agony! After about 10 minutes the dog fainted from the pain causing it to lose cobtrol of its bodily functions. This made the woman angry, and she left then returned with a sheet of cardboard that she rolled the dogs limp body onto. she dragged the dog out of the kennel, then hosed the kennel down. Then she dragged the dog back inside and rolled him off the cardboard and on to the wet cement. I called animal control and got the run round about their only being one officer and that she would be out as soon as he could to investigate. I later learbed from the neighbor that the Excelon woman continues torturing dogs because she now does the training inside a large shed where nobody can get video evidence to prove the truth. If you love you pets do NOT take them to he Excelon in Shelton Washington!

She is the most well balanced, highly trained dog I have ever owned. She is with me at all times and behaves like a service dog should in public. We continue our training with Excelon to keep her skills sharp and training has always been professional and humane. We did not realize the extent of the vet shortage going on. We love Dr. Kim Mccann, and we found out she was really overwhelmed for the last year. Feel kinda of bad for the bad reviews, but they are our kids, we could not find a good vet around this area. Took the girls in yesterday for shots and checkups, and they find out our younger one had a Yeast infection in her ear. Thank you, Shelton Vet Hospital.

She violated my right to privacy with my vet. Only to find out everything I told her was true. I did everything she asked and then she asked for more. One can only hope she treats the dogs better than their owners but I am not certain. One of her dogs seems very aggressive but she had someone in the yard calming him down to not show his true colors when I was there. I do not think he is safe to be around. I was not allowed to stay and observe for the first time my young pup was to be there. She thinks she is extremely smart because she was once a vet tech... not a vet.. just a vet tech... alas dumb and small minded people think they know it all....and think they have some moral and intellectual superiority. I was out of town, but requested he contact either my husband or my realtor to clear the quote prior to receiving services. On 8/18 my realtor was contacted and asked if Mike could stop by earlier. It was not made clear that by earlier he meant that day (8/18). Services were completed without any discussion or agreement to a quote. According to my Ring doorbell Mike arrived at 11:04 am and left at 12:16 pm. The total cost of the services completed were more than my husband, realtor, and I would have agreed to pay for. Due the fact that we were not offered a quote prior to services completed, we did not have the opportunity to deny services. On 8/20, my husband stopped by our unoccupied home to discover that the door had been left unlocked by Mike. Our realtor had left a lock box with our key and provided Mike with the access code to unlock and lock our door. This means our home was left unlocked, while unoccupied to 2 full days. Upon discussion, our realtor contacted Mike to discuss our displeasure with the way services were completed without a quote agreement and that our front door to our home was left unlocked. We felt that we should have been offered some sort of price reduction off of the cost of the services completed without our consent and for our home being left unsecured. Unfortunately, we were offered nothing and have been left with a sour taste for the way Mike handled business with us.
