My dog doesn't have the best manners - but they see him for the big love that he is. They smile as big as he does when they see each other. They remember tiny details about his silly personality quirks. (Usually just seeing him once a year for a few days) They care for all of his needs and bring him so much joy. The first time they even texted details about his day to help us feel more comfortable leaving him at a new place. Every time he comes home from Sylvan, we can tell he misses all the friends he made at the kennel - human and other dog friends. Honestly, we would never consider taking him anywhere else at this point. Pro tip - the grooming and nail trimming service is worth every penny - and such a reasonable cost.

She never confirmed our meeting I assumed that she received the message. I recently called (11/22) and Karen proceeded to ream me on the phone for not showing. If I had not cancelled, then why wouldn't she call to confirm. She also yelled and said that I didn't tell her in advance. Our agreement was to decide depending on the weather so again, I even called the day before as I read the inclement weather report. She was hostile and Beltran as well.

She violated my right to privacy with my vet. Only to find out everything I told her was true. I did everything she asked and then she asked for more. One can only hope she treats the dogs better than their owners but I am not certain. One of her dogs seems very aggressive but she had someone in the yard calming him down to not show his true colors when I was there. I do not think he is safe to be around. I was not allowed to stay and observe for the first time my young pup was to be there. She thinks she is extremely smart because she was once a vet tech... not a vet.. just a vet tech... alas dumb and small minded people think they know it all....and think they have some moral and intellectual superiority. Before driving an…read morehour, I called ahead to confirm if they had birds for adoption or if it was just a supply store, as I was specifically interested in that. The guy I spoke with said yes, they do have birds for adoption, but didn't clarify much beyond that. I assumed it would be like a Petco-style place where you can meet and adopt birds. When I arrived, I was shocked by how dusty the store was and how poorly maintained the cages looked. The birds' habitats seemed depressing and unsuitable -- definitely not the kind of environment where birds should live. When I asked about adopting a bird, I was told flat out, "THEY ARE NOT FOR ADOPTION." I was confused because didn't I call to ask that? And they said yes? Then I asked, "Neither of them?" He said only two types of birds were actually available for adoption, and those were the same birds you can find at Petco. If I had known this, I wouldn't have driven an hour I was specifically interested in African Grey parrots, which they had but not for adoption and since they are not available at Petco, I thought they would have one there for adoption. We were looking at the birds and we were never told "if you are interested in adopting these are available" which I would've appreciated. I decided to go to Petco after which is 5 min away from my house! and got a jenday conure bird there. Anyway, I ended up buying some sunflower seeds for a bird I already have at home, but he wouldn't eat them, which was weird because those are his favorite. It turned out the bag was expired, which explains why. Overall, this place felt really poorly managed, especially regarding the birds' living conditions. They desperately need better habitats that allow the birds space to stretch their wings and have a more natural, healthy environment. I do not recommend this place.
