If you're on your way up to La Push you should see…read morethis sign for the cedar probably about 10-15 minutes outside Amanda Park and kind of on the perimeter of the Olympic Nat'l Forest on North Shore Road. The road is pretty primitive and has huge divots and potholes so proceed with caution. The trail is also pretty muddy even with the slightest rain so again, proceed with caution. With that said, this cedar is actually pretty huge. A large majority of it has collapsed and spilled it's guts onto the forest floor but it's still a neat sight to see. You can walk on it or climb through the holes and just crank your neck up at such a gargantuan natural phenomena. Even with the spilled guts, there is still a lot of tree left standing. It's free to check out and not far off the roadway so it's a quick stop.

The hike up to the tree builds just the right amount of anticipation as it's just like climbing up a treehouse. Navigating steep stairs (as high as I could lift my leg) and scampering over tree roots yields a great payoff when you reach the top. Be sure to walk all the way around it as you can actually go inside it. I'm sure there are studio apartments smaller than the inside of this tree. Wear boots as it can get mucky back there! Take some pics and clamber back down. Congrats! Now you've just seen my new favorite tree!

My thoughts went from dreading hip replacement surgery and difficulty doing my job to... where is my metal detector and let's go! I couldn't lift my leg to go up or down stairs or get in or out of bed unless I used my arms to put my leg up or down and after one treatment I think, why did suffer so long? Honestly I really didn't think that anything outside of surgery would help me, but boy was I wrong!!! Also I wound like to talk about my another problem she worked on...my eyes. I had retinal detatchment in both eyes and had to have emergency surgery in both eyes. I have problems with seeing double since the surgery 2 years ago. Felisa said I had a adhesion that caused one eye to stick inside the eye wall which causes my eyes to not work in unison. She did one treatment and can now read street signs before I pass them. I give Felisa 5 stars because in my option she is my miracle worker. If you are suffering with pain, give her a call. This is a non-invasive option that everyone should try before having a surgery.

I read a profile about Felisa and her rolfing treatments to get your body back into alignment after injuries. I signed up right away and started my 10 series of treatments. After only the 3rd visit, I was without pain for the first time in 8 years! After completing the series, I felt amazing. I have shared my experience with everyone I know. One of my friends who had a couple of bad falls, went to Felisa after 10 years of being in pain and is now pain free! Another friend said her life had been changed after her treatments. A couple of years after feeling great, I was hit by an electric shopping cart in Safeways. I thought I was going to be ok, but a length of time later, my right hip was so painful I had a hard time sitting for very long. I returned to Felish for help again and amazing enough, one visit I was out of pain again. Stop putting up with pain!!!! Get Rolfed!!!!!! Brenda Sansom, Amanda Park, Wa

When you have little ones it never seems like you have enough pictures of them and we wanted to…read morehave something nice like a picture book so that we will always have it to look at long after the kids have grown up. That's when we found ARBR Pictures. I happen to see some pictures taken by Amanda, photographer and owner, and I knew right away she would be perfect. I loved her pictures and how she made ordinary things, places, events, look artistic and seemed to really capture their essence. I do not profess to be an artist, but I have a very good eye and taste. I knew our two little girls would love her. it is always hard to get our girls to warm up to a photographer in such a short time. We know this because we have tried places like Yuen Lui, The Picture People and other very good photographers, but I knew my girls would love Amanda. Sure enough they were all over her and were practically performing for her as she spent time with them throughout our home taking tons of pictures of them in their natural setting and daily life. We were very pleased with the final product - we got a beautiful picture book, a DVD with all of the pictures she took and in a year or two we will have to have Amanda back again for another session with the girls. It is always kind of awkward having a stranger going throughout your entire house taking pictures, but with Amanda it felt like just having a friend over who also happens to be a fabulous photographer. Now we will always be able to go back even years from now and see our beautiful little girls in their picture book thanks to Amanda.

They tailored their pricing, service package to meet our needs at a price that was very reasonable. But onto the good stuff: we love our highlight video. The night we got it, we watched it three times. The highlights alone was worth every penny we paid. We showed our highlight video at our second reception back east and received so many compliments. Being able to relive our big day, especially when it goes by so fast, is something we will cherish forever. Thank you Amanda and Brandon!

Amanda offers the creation of memory bears from deceased loved ones on her website. I decided to…read morecontact her to inquire about her current production status. She confirmed that she still creates these bears. We arranged for the clothing to be sent to her, and she confirmed receipt in December. She estimated a three-week turnaround time, and by the end of January, I reached out to check on the project's progress. She promptly responded, stating that she would complete the project by the end of the week. Two weeks later, I checked back for an update, but she had not responded. I have since reached out to her twice more without receiving a response. Now I feel like we may never be getting these bears or getting the clothes back of our loved one. The clothes came from the other side of the world (Southeast Asia) and is impossible to replace.

That being said, I do feel it's important to share my experience, so that other brides can hire a different wedding coordinator that will provide a more positive experience. After my initial call with Amanda, I looked forward to working with her. Shortly afterwards however, she became unresponsive for weeks despite repeated communication attempts. Eventually, Amanda apologized for not responding and offered to provide a complimentary floral preservation service, encasing my wedding flowers in resin, as a gesture of goodwill. I thought this was great and felt like she had handled the situation very well. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, there were a number of things she promised to do, but either forgot to do or did wrong (i.e. gave the boutonierres to the wrong people, did not bring the microphone speaker for our officiant, etc.). These were minor errors though, so I did not think much of it and let it go. The concerning issue is that Amanda took my wedding flowers three months ago and never returned them. I have reached out to her multiple times. She initially responded saying she would bring the preserved flowers to me on a particular day, but that day came and went. She never showed up, ignored multiple follow-up attempts, and has stopped responding altogether. I think it goes without saying that losing my wedding flowers is extremely upsetting, as they carried tremendous sentimental value. I want to stress that my husband and I have been kind, patient, and understanding throughout this process. I know people go through tough times, but it takes two minutes to text a client and be honest about the status of an order. Amanda--if you read this, I sincerely hope you are doing well. If you respond, please do not share excuses, but rather just let me know if or when I will ever receive my floral preservation.
