Once I took the first bite, you can hear the crunch and the filling of creamy egg custard was so good. The garlic sausage block was really good as well. It was the perfect ratio of dough and sausage. The spicy sausage had pieces of jalapeno and the sausage was very good. The croquette was thick, crispy, and had a really good filling. I also got the Honey Lavender Matcha Latte, it was refreshing and creamy. Inside, there is plenty of seating options from tables to countertop seats. The same man says, "Don't bother with her," and waves his hand at me. I told him he was very rude and disrespectful because I am the only woman of color in the store. You assume I eat ham or pork. You didn't yell that out to the customers after me that walked in. He tells me well you can leave," saying I threw the menu at him (which was not the case). So I had a couple of choice words for the ignorant employee and left. I have worked in Great Neck for over 20 yrs and never have been treated like this when I walk in an establishment. The space is cozy and limited for seating (I noted one bench by the window) so I'm guessing it's meant for more retail use. The teas are displayed on the wall in each tin or box. Descriptions of each after labeled on the packaging as well. These are all boxed/loose tea. Notable mentions, Imperial Matcha, Fiji tea with fruit notes, rose hip, Earl Grey and fancy oolong to name a few. I am a huge fan of tea so I'm definitely coming back to get more.
