We walked in and the place was empty. We wanted to order the special that was listed for $9, but we were told it's only available on weekends even though it was Sunday. When we ordered, we were initially charged $16 and had to correct them that it should be $9. We also ordered chicken biryani, paid, and sat down. Shortly after, one of the workers came over and told us they were out of chicken biryani. We asked for a refund, but they said their system doesn't allow refunds and offered to send the money via Zelle instead. It was a bit frustrating, especially since they had apparently been sold out of biryani all day so we couldn't eat that. On a positive note, the haleem came in a cute matka presentation. The staff seemed a bit unsure and mostly mumbled, but they were trying to be helpful. Overall, the food was okay, but the experience was a little disappointing.

I was really intrigued by this spot popping up on my Yelp when we were looking for something to eat in the area. When you walk in, the space is huge with plenty of seating. The kitchen is enormous, it is definitely designed for catering. Service was friendly and patient with our indecisiveness. We decided to try: Dubai Paratha Burger - two patties, melted cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos, between two paratha. Milder than anticipated but very filling. Chapli Burger - this was absolutely bomb. The patty was chapli kebab, so it was rich and spiced and loaded with minced herbs and veggies. Add the red onion, jalapenos, and chutney, it was spicy, complex, and delicious. Masala Fries - Just fries, but completely coated in masala spice blend. So delicious. I definitely recommend obliging your curiosity and considering trying this spot out!

If you come here, stick to the traditional specialties! The Nihari, Haleem, and Chana were incredibly flavorful and tasted amazing with the fresh Naan. The BBQ items (tried the chicken tikka and chapli kabab) were just okay tonight and didn't quite live up to the curries. Beef Dhaga kabob and Malai boneless Chicken 10 pcs skewer was perfectly balance and flavorful. On the plus side, the place is very spacious inside and there is plenty of hassle-free parking. Definitely worth a visit for the rich curries!

Karachi BBQ tonight provides some amazing Pakistani barbecue dishes right off the 91 freeway in Bellflower/Lawndale. They're located in a strip mall off the freeway with ample parking and plenty of seating inside. Their interior has a nice mural of traditional Pakistani life and sites as well as famous LA locations/people. We ordered the behari kabab, chicken tikka leg and thigh, nihari, and plenty of naan. We were pleasantly surprised to see them selling nihari, which for now is part of their limited time menu. The behari kabab was amazing, literally melts in your mouth with every bite, and pairs well with both their chutneys. The chicken tikka was well seasoned and had a nice smokey flavor. The nihari had a generous portion size and was very flavorful, and loaded with beef. One thing I really liked about this place was all the food was made to order, including the naan, which were pipping hot and crispy. One thing which would make this place even better would be to offer lassi or falooda options. This was a delicious meal and a great alternative to bundoo khan for LA natives looking for another halal option!

I'm still thinking about the chapli kabob, falooda, and the naan. The naan was definitely the best i've had in LA. Very doughy and pillowy. This place is not the same thing as the one in Karachi but it's still so good with its own menu items. I need to come back to try their dubai burger!

The wife and I were very excited to try this place out. We ordered the chicken Tikka and also the chicken Malai and this is what we received. The picture is of the Malai . They charge $14.99 for this plate with no sides. It doesn't even look like what they jave pictured in the restaurant. I don't feel that this warrants a $14 dollar price. I don't think I will be going back.

The place: Great spot to bring the family! Lots of parking and long tables to accommodate large families. Clean space with plates, napkins and settings/utensils available easily as well as to go boxes. This is a big convenience. Decor - Awesome mural of Karachi on the wall evokes memories of childhood. Other side has framed photos of various sites. Across from the main wall is the cooking area where you can see the culinary artists at work. Food: This is what we're here for! We got a variety of selection choices to taste the menu to cover a few areas of whats on offer here - Dubai Smashburger - a pretty good spin on the traditional burger, with tastes of Pakistani cooking coming through clearly in the patties, but accentuated with American cheese and burger sauce. Patties were a little overdone, but not too much. Paratha was great! Well caramelized onions elevates the flavor profile. Chicken tikka and beef seekh kabab - perfect quality, excellent taste and fair portions. Paired with Naan...and you got exactly what you want. Naan - deserves its own section. Lots of ppl dont get this right. Either its too thin or it's burnt. These guys have well cooked puffy naan and good naan just takes desi food to the next level. Biryani - authentic flavors of spices and plenty of rice and chicken and cooked-through potato. Places typically have either overdone rice or undercooked potatoes and this place was able to avoid both mistakes. Masala fries - shoestring fries fried to perfection with masala sprinkled on top. What more do you need? Things to improve: Maybe serve dishes with plenty of red onion, cucumber and raita/yogurt on the side as most desi definitely want chuchumer or salad with their BBQ/tandoori. Will definitely be coming back and bringing family & friends!

Wow, wow, wow! The reviews speak for themselves. If you're looking for an authentic barbecue Pakistani restaurant, this beats every single one of them in all of Orange County. It's a little hidden gem that open just a month ago. It's got plenty of seating inside with the open kitchen layout. The aroma of the food being cooked can be smelt within the restaurant and make sure you even hungrier. This is a family own business, and a father does a lot of catering and has a kitchen literally opposite side of the restaurant. I am so impressed with the place. As I walked in, I was greeted right away by the Owner Son who helped guide me on the top selling items, but I couldn't help but get one of almost everything .

    Art

The place is very spacious and has nice art work and many nice design, the workers were nice and understanding of any questions and the restrooms were very clean and organized. The food was very great and tasty with many flavor

We visited Karachi BBQ on the night of their soft launch and decided to go all in--we ordered everything on the menu, from Gola Kebabs and Chicken Tikka to the standout Chapli Kebabs and Karahi. Let me just say: the Chapli Kebabs were out of this world--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The Chicken Karahi was equally impressive, rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. But the real surprise? The Naan. So fresh, pillowy, and hot off the tandoor--it's easily some of the best I've had in the city. The place is new, but if this first night is any indication, Karachi BBQ is going to become a go-to spot for anyone craving authentic Pakistani BBQ. Can't wait to go back. Service was fantastic as well! Food came out fast.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit more enjoyable. Prices are around $20 per plate, which is reasonable, especially since we ordered a few dishes and shared everything. Service-wise, the wait time was a bit longer than expected. Our food took about 30 minutes to come out, and it felt even longer considering it wasn't a busy weekend. Not a huge issue, but something to keep in mind if you're really hungry. Food was interesting in a good way. The curry dishes have a lighter color and a different flavor compared to typical Indian cuisine. You can tell it's a Pakistani style. I enjoyed trying something different, although I personally still prefer the richer, more familiar Indian flavors. The samosas were very good, and the green sauce, I believe it's called hari, was especially delicious and added a nice kick. The mango lassi drink was a surprise highlight. I'm usually not a big fan of mango lassi, but this one was super delicious. Honestly felt like a hidden gem on the menu. ***One thing to note, check your receipt before paying. They already include an 18% gratuity, and there's still a section to add an additional tip. Overall, the food was delicious, portions were satisfying, and we all left full and happy. Solid 4 stars. I'd come back again, just with a little patience for the wait.

For food I had the chicken tikka masala (mild), half rice, and garlic naan. They also give you a small side salad. The garlic naan was the best I've ever had. So moist and not burnt like a lot of other places. You can easily pull it apart with your fingers as it screams, "eat me! eat me!", with delight. The chicken tikka masala's flavor was amazing! I like to try things mild first to see how they taste. Some places serve bland food and mask it with spiciness. Not here. The flavor is all there. Next time I think I'm going to adventure on the wild side and try the medium and then possibly the spicy. The included salad was simple yet so satisfying. The dressing is definitely unique and packs a punch with the spice level but... I like it. *wink* *wink* hahhaa. The rice was perfection. I hate it when it's not cooked enough and too mushy or overcooked and hard. Originally I was going to eat half tonight and then the other half tomorrow but... I know myself. They're thick, they're flavorful, they hit you with the right spice. Normal spice is a white man's medium high so they got their base down which is more than half the battle. They cook the Paneer just right. And really enjoyed the Bartha! That The not so good: the chicken is way overcooked, I don't know if it's breast or thigh, but it definitely tasted like a dried out breast. Possibly using the tandoori and just dropping it into the gravy, but a perfectly cooked chicken thigh would take the chicken tikka masala to the moon. Second, the Paneer portion size was a joke. Maybe six cubes in the whole deal. Needs to be at least double. I'm ready to try again you gotta protect your meats!

I love how big the naan is that they give you. They make it fresh too. Even though I've tried a bunch of their skewers, this time I tried the fish karahi, which came with my choice of naan or rice. I chose naan. It was really good but it was a little too spicy for me. The cashier told me they could add yogurt the next time around. However, what really stood out is how the fish was cooked. I feel in American restaurants, fish is just cooked in a way that makes it just taste ok. However, at like Chinese restaurants, they really know how to make the fish taste amazing and have it be so plump and juicy. They make their fish like that here! The juicy and plump way where you're just like, "Wow I just want to keep eating this!" I also got a chicken roll too which is fried and crispy. Good appetizer.
