I have another Macbook Pro that I thought needed a RAM upgrade because the app store icons aren't show but they said it was necessary - honest alert. And also, they have tons of other stuff - cellphone accessories, computer paraphernalia and even laptops. Move over Pacific Mall. This should be everyone's go to place in downtown Toronto (or even those from the 'burbs) - the folks are so honest. Quotes one price at around 120. Take the laptop in person. Sent my wife because i was busy. Relying on this one man. Sees she have a workstation laptop, raises the hell outta the price to 200. Since I sent my wife and she handed it over oblivious. She comes back says it was 200 to resolder a freaking pin? Let me tell you it will take this man 5 mins to finish this task if hes good. 15 if he takes his time. The parts are literally in the dollar amount. Talking about 15 dollars tops and that's generous. Whats actually wrong with Toronto is people like him taking advantage of young people, college students, older people, and non tech savvy people like my wife. Best Buy really delivered (pun intended) on their curbside pickup option. I was on the hunt for a…read morepopular smartphone accessory, which was sold out at the two closest stores to me. One of the employees found it at this location and walked me through the order process. Best Buy doesn't have free Wi-Fi, so the employee typed in the store password for me. I loved how he sanitized his hands before touching my phone! I wasn't sure if the order would go through by the time I reached this location, but it did. I thought it might be easier to go into the store myself, but parking in this very busy plaza can be hectic. There are a few dedicated spots right in front for curbside pickups. I checked in online, using the "ready for pickup" email. It took a few minutes, but an employee came out and checked my two pieces of ID. She placed the item in my trunk, and gave me some time to check the order before leaving. Off I went, easy breezy! I will definitely take advantage of this service again.
