Had dinner here tonight. Was a hit and miss experience. Neither the menu on Yelp or the Marriott hotel website is accurate any longer. The waiter kept saying the menu was the same as always but we really wanted the web listed coconut shrimp, not on the menu. The appetizers of BBQ ribs were excellent, chicken skewers were ok, pork belly pieces were ok. The entries of chicken and pork bowls was disappointing. The chicken bowl especially because the tiny chicken pieces seemed like something frozen that were placed in a microwave to warm up. The ribs were really the only item that stood out as excellent. Great place for drinks though at sunset. Gets busy just at sunset. read more

Great poolside option at the JW, they take and bring your order to your chairs. A bit pricey but that's what you pay to not leave to eat! Drinks were great, frozen options that kept us cool. They bring it all in to go containers in a brown shopping bag with all the utensils napkins and wipes. The kids loved the Asian ribs with side of fries. The side was huge so enough for them to share. I had the mahi sandwich and the flavor was really good, however when I got to the center it wasn't cooked all the way. Ate around it though, not worth sending it back as it was busy! Very cool place to relax and grab a drink....or three. The bartenders are all very nice and quite attentive even when it gets busy and there are people everywhere. The food was okay. We only had a small dumpling dish and a salad. Most everything (to us at least) didn't sound super great to accompany our booze since it's all just covered in peanut sauce. Very cool tiki bar atmosphere and set-up. Outdoor seating only and seats are actually in the sand. Live music was very nice. Food was just very very pricey, considering it is mostly lighter lunch type food. $108 for an 2 appetizers and a burger, and and 3 drinks! Bartenders argued right in front of us about why were they bumping into each other when we have 3 guys and 3 stations. Took far too long to be acknowledged when the bar stools were maybe 30% filled. Very expensive drinks and apps. Then one guy is talking about using guys from the Marriott Convention Center construction to repair his hurricane damaged house at night without permits and paying in cash and beer. Classic food for Marco. Come here for vacation lunches. Very expensive for what u get but a piece of advice is to get the kids meals... the kids meals are only 10 bucks and most items are found on the normal menu. Also can't go wrong with a pina colada or strawberry daiquiri. read more

They have great servers/bartenders but they do t have food go kids. They have a lot of Asian type foods. My niece couldn't eat anything there because she didn't like sea food. They also had peanut sauce on everything and she is allergic to all nuts. read more

I take for granted where I live a little bit too much. I'm no more than 30minutes away from Kane and I don't know why I've only been there a hand full of times. Kane is probably the best outside bar in Naples! The ambiance is seriously of a dream. The view is pure bliss and the music is a perfect touch to the whole vibe! Not to mention the staff were extremely friendly and they all seemed very interactive, especially my bartender Carlos! He made us his specialty drinks Coco Loco Berry and What The Cooka. Called JWM to find out if reservations were necessary for Kane's Tiki Bar and grill. She asked if I was a hotel guest. I said no so she told me that the restaurants in the hotel were for hotel guests only...until after 5 pm. A few hours later I called back, asked to be transferred to the Tiki bar. She again asked if I was staying at the hotel. I said no, but our friends are. Immediately she made it clear that we could join our friends at the Tiki bar only after 5 pm. Dry cold, very unapologetic. I am over 65 and have plenty of discretionary cash to spend. The 20 something clerk that I spoke with is not only generationally challenged, but doesn't know who her customer is. JWM needs to review their rules, post them on their website, and do some training with their clerks on how to deliver a difficult message. I won't be going back to stay or dine at this property, neither will my friends and I plan to post this review in as many places as I can find. read more

Pretty shitty really. Waitress was old and rude; drinks were overpriced and clearly used out of the box mixes.

Wings were amazing but that's about it. The food is incredibly overpriced and one drink costed $20. The service was good until one of the bartenders continually made rude comments to us. We could clearly afford to eat there because we were staying at the resort yet the bartender called us "kmart shoppers" and implied we were unwanted because we were in our early 20's. Checked into the Marriott about 1:00 on a Monday, put on beach clothes, and started our tour of this renovated hotel. After ten visits here over the last 20 years with the kids, my wife and I were happy to find this perfect beach side and pool side setting at the Kane. To get in the vacation mode, we promptly ordered a draft pale ale (Beach Blonde) and Pina Colada with a Myers rum floater. Then the light lunch: pork Banh Mi and shrimp mango spring roll. Perfect on all counts! The Banh Mi pork was grilled with the edges just a little crispy, the baguette roll was also grilled to a nice crisp texture covered with just the right amount of a savory mayonnaise, and the carrot veggie garnish was topped off with jalapeño. The spring roll was a little heavy with mango, but the large portion of tiger prawns made up for it. Glad we found this on day one of a week long vacation. We'll be back again! read more
