Amazing food & drinks, great service and the best view!! Definitely recommend 10/10!!

Like many people that have family in Marco, we are from the good old state of MN, which means we need to find a place to watch Vikings games. When you arrive, you will be prompted to get a ticket for the parking area. Parking is $45, but the ticket will be validated, so don't fret. The space is just limited since the restaurant sits up against the beach. Seven of us came in around 3 or 4pm and the staff were able to turn on the game for us and find adequate seating. There's a selection of beers and sweet drinks - even some non-alcoholic options. There is a pretty typical sports bar atmosphere and that includes the food selection. There are a lot of options, and there were a few options that didn't contain gluten, which was nice. My husband and I ordered shrimp and steak tacos, which were tasty. For a sports bar, it definitely does the job. read more

The Sunset Grill at the Apollo Condominium on South Beach, Marco Island, is the perfect place to grab a nice lunch. It is just steps from the beach and it is open to the public. We were promptly seated on the deck overlooking the beach. Our server was attentive and delivered our lunch in a timely manner. I had the Red, White and Blue salad. It was perfect! read more

Sunset Grill is adjacent to the Apollo condo complex we stayed at in at Marco. Beautiful view of the beach and Gulf, servers are really friendly, drinks are delicious and the food we had was just right. First night we just needed a couple beers after a few hours on the beach. The servers were super friendly and the beer was cold - perfect. Day two - lunch! I had the Sunset Mai Tai (a word of advice...one is enough) and Wifey had the Coconut mojito. Wifey and I shared peel and eat shrimp and an Asian chicken salad (grilled chicken and a huge helping of salad/slaw) very fresh and crispy and delicious. Last day...needed a drink and a snack again. We ordered a Fried shrimp basket to share, I had the Mai Tai again and Wifey had the Miami Vice - pina colada and strawberry daiquiri together. Sorry guys but this time the calamari was loaded with frying oil as well as the french fries. Very soggy and not appetizing at all! Paper towels would have been a bonus to soak up the grease. A definite clogged artery meal! The chicken fingers were on the dry side but tasty. We go here often and have had minimal complaints! The service is great, and the staff are very accommodating! I seriously support you all but need to suggest that you drain the grease better. We'll be back because although this was a different experience compared to others. What a beautiful ocean front view! We enjoyed a delicious lunch at this Marco Island gem. From the warm welcome Michelle provided upon entering to the fantastic service Anita showed, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The classic steamed clams were fresh and delicate in flavor. Crispy large basket of fries. Finally had my favorite Florida fish, grouper! I chose the Coconut crusted grouper fish with pineapple salsa, freshly steamed veggies and a classic baked potato made for an epic lunch treat! This is a restaurant located on the first floor of a condo building. Parking in the lot is $45, but the restaurant does validate your ticket when you leave. It has an unappealing entrance area and once you get in, it's a bit dark. It was about 4:00 when we arrived on a Friday afternoon in early March and we waited about 10 minutes for a table outside. Our server was friendly and efficient. The menu prices seem par for the course for the area ($20+ per entree). The food came out pretty quick and the fish, shrimp and onion rings were hot, but the coated French fries were not. They must have been ready before the fish. The deep fried grouper was good, but not great. The fish and batter lacked seasoning, maybe just some salt would have improved the taste. All in all, it was a good choice and we would go back, but there are lots of places to choose from on Marco Island. read more

March 2026 - Located in a busy area in a Condo Complex almost on the beach. Get your parking ticket validated by your server to avoid paying for parking. Great view of the beach and the sunset. The food was excellent as was the service. We ate outside with a wonderful view of the Gulf. Alas, the sun disappeared behind the clouds prior to sunset. Nice beer list. Came here after a long flight and starving. This place is right on the beach with beautiful views. The service was fast and efficient. The food was pretty good, around $20 per burger give or take and the bread with cheese and tomatoes to start was very good. The drinks were tasty and we came during happy hour, so it was $2 off. Honestly, the drinks were a bit pricey even with happy hour, but besides that this place is solid if you're in the area. read more

My wife and I seek out the hottest wings when we travel. At home, we've made (and enjoyed) our own Carolina reaper hot sauce. Sunset Grille has a 10/10 sauce flavor they call their insane hot sauce, and it definitely satisfies a certain itch if you're chasing after the spice dragon. Our server warned us multiple occasions before serving up some of the most spicy wings we've had this part of the lower 48. With each wing, the heat will build. Your lips, parts of your face, and your tongue may go numb, the snot may run, and your scalp may sweat profusely. Your family sitting next to you will complain of the hot capsaicin rich vapors emanating from your plate and invading their space. We come to Florida once a year for vacation and this is a must go to spot every single time! We absolutely love the atmosphere and the view of the ocean is spectacular (I recommend sitting outside if you can get a table). Bar food with many seafood options. Been there twice and is open the latest of many of the other restaurants in Marco island. You can walk up from the beach but after sunset there's no light on the beach to protect the turtles so make sure to have a phone or flashlight. Unless the moon is out then it's just a beautiful walk back. There is parking as well and don't get scared by the $45 parking fee, they will validate after the meal and will be free. Now for food I tried the coconut shrimp my first time and it was a nice portion. The shrimp tacos were also a nice portion and I added a side of onion rings. Sweet potato fries really good, no sauce needed. The others had fish sandwich and they seemed to enjoy. There were also meals, chicken sandwiches and burgers. We went to Marco Island recently for vacation. Sunset Grille was right by our condo so we went there several times during our stay. Great food!! First of all, they have a large bar that overlooks the beach & outdoor seating as well. They have the Sunday ticket so you can watch all the nfl football games which is a plus. Their food was amazing! I got the blackened grouper sandwich two different times & I can't say enough good things about it- so delicious! There were many different side options- fries, veggies, sweet potato fries, etc. On one of our other visits there I got the stuffed flounder- amazing! They have other options than just seafood. They have many beers on tap and a full bar with great cocktails. Our bartenders were friendly and efficient. I love this place! read more

Best spicy Bloody Mary's on the island! Ask for Victoria she's amazing. Mahi Mahi Tacos, Grouper sandwich, and Ahi Tuna were all to die for. Ate outside just steps away from the beach, and the view was great. You must stop here when visiting Marco Island, and from the drafts to the mixed drinks, they were all on point. My recommendation for fish tacos are to add Wasabi and seaweed salad, which takes them to another level. Take a few steps, go to the beach, take a siesta to sleep the food and booze away while catching some rays. read more

After a lovely day at the beach, my daughters and I went for dinner at the Sunset Grille. We sat outside and had the perfect view of the most beautiful sunset while dining. We waited a little while before our server attended us, but she apologized for the wait. They were able to make some mocktail for my daughters, which they enjoyed. Great location right off the beach. It's expensive but everything is on Marco Island. We ordered the fish and chips basket, some with fries & some with onion rings. The fish was tender and light. The coleslaw was my favorite part of the meal. Very light sauce and thinly sliced slaw. Their tartar sauce was different than what I'm used to and it was very good as well. We also had the crab stuffed flounder which was wonderful. Lots of crab flavor and the flounder was tender & light. It came with a white wine sauce on the side. The pineapple mojito was super flavorful. The location is gorgeous with the white sand beach is right outside the door. There is validation for the parking so be sure to bring in your ticket. I've ordered the Asian chicken salad numerous times. Its tasty and a generous portion, the prices have slowly crept up( like all things). On this visit, it was $20.00. I paid with cash, the total was 21.20. I handed the server 25.00. He returned 3 dollars and 75 cents. I asked him where the nickel was and he said " we round up". Are you kidding me? First of all that is illegal. Second of all, if you're going to round, round down. How many people don't say anything and how much more $$$ do they end up with at the end of a night? They sure are not using that money to invest in their takeout flatware. Its incredibly cheap and flimsy. I could barely use it to eat my salad. read more
