We love coming to the Deck every time we're in Marco. Breakfast food is very good and lots of options on the buffet.

The restaurant is at the Hilton Hotel at Marco Island. Food was great! We were there at 4:30 for an early dinner. They don't have early bird specials, they don't serve bread!!! Very unusual! Service was fast and good, beautiful view. read more

There was a ton of meat/toppings and it came with a garlic aioli you couldn't go wrong dipping everything in. Extremely overpriced food in our opinion. It is super convenient for hotel guests and nice Costco credit can be used here though. We never loved our food, but also didn't hate it. If prices were $5-10 cheaper we'd give it better stars. Also, the breakfast buffet is pretty bland in our opinions, but better than most hotel buffets (which I'd hope since it's $37). Stopped in for a drink after watching sunset on the beach. Highly recommend the key lime martini. The outside area is really cute, but is adjacent to the pool of the Hilton, so it probably gets pretty loud when there are a bunch of kids playing. The food is so good! A lot better than what we expected. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Portions are enough and even shareable. You may order from the window by the pool and take it to where you are seated, or you may dine in. If you choose to set on their side deck, do not sit there at night, the massive gnats will surround you. Dudley was great, he was our waiter both times we went. This restaurant is located inside the ground floor of the Hilton Marco Island Resort. I was staying at the hotel for the weekend when I dined for both breakfast and a late dinner at the bar. The breakfast is nice, with the exception of all the birds flying around both inside and outside the eating areas. I almost felt like I was eating in a bird aviary. By dinnertime, the birds must have gone to sleep. The breakfast is either by menu or buffet. The buffet price is $30.00 and well worth it. Fresh made to order omelets and other egg choices. Waffles, fresh breads, biscuits with sausage gravy, and then there are fruits and yogurts with some unique toppings. There were cute little gourmet donuts and some cold cuts, but I saw too many flies on them to touch. From the menu, there were some great choices, all ranging between $14-$24, and coffee is an additional $5.00 if you didn't get a self-serve cup from the lobby. After a long day at the beach, an afternoon at the pool, happy hour at a nearby venue, a late nite bite, and a drink at the bar is a perfect convenience. Robert was working the bar, and he was great. He poured a lot of drinks for us and the other patrons with some lite conversation and even put MMA fighting on the TV overhead, which I would have preferred anything else. We ordered some appetizers, which all were good. The softshell crab was tempura battered and was cooked well. The bar was well stocked, and the drinks were refreshing, too. Worst server ever. I had just checked into the Hilton and was starting my vacation. I walked by the bar at The Deck at 560 and thought I'd sit down, order a small appetizer, and enjoy the sunset before deciding on a main dish. Instead, I was treated like a problem from the start. I politely asked if I could sit outside. The woman working behind the bar gave me a cold look, then turned to whisper to another staff member while glancing back at me. It felt like I was being mocked for simply asking a question. I ordered a drink and an appetizer. She already had my room number at that point. She told me to stand and not sit down yet. I waited, confused. Then she came back and handed me the check--before I had even sat down or received anything. I hadn't even had the chance to order a main course. When my appetizer arrived, the person who brought it asked me to pay immediately. I asked why, and he said she told him to ask. No one else around me was treated like this. I felt completely singled out, rushed, and disrespected. I was polite the entire time and clearly a hotel guest, yet I was made to feel like I didn't belong there. It completely ruined what should've been a peaceful start to my trip. read more

We stopped for dinner on Monday at 16:45, and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was not busy at this hour, but it was several minutes before our server arrived. We ordered a cocktail and waited several more minutes before our server returned with our drinks. We ordered the soup but did not order our entrees. More time without seeing our server before our soup arrived. Our soup was delivered by another server, and our server never stopped to check on us or if everything was okay. Our soup was cold, and we had to engage another server to find our server. Our server finally arrived and asked if we wanted our soup warmed up...no, we want our soup served hot...not cold. Our server took the cold soup and, after more time, returned with soup at the correct temperature. Considering the amount time up to this point and the very slow service, we decided to order our entrees. As you might expect, a lot more time expired before our server returned with our entrees. At no time did our server follow up for more drinks, but she did follow up after delivering our entrees to ask if everything was okay. We finished our entrees and then waited for our server to return to order coffee and dessert. Finally, our server made it back to our table, and we ordered coffee. More time passed before the coffee and cream arrived...but no spoons. I decided to throw caution to the wind and asked the server if it was her habit to serve coffee and cream without spoons. She apologized and retrieved the spoons. We requested our check, and she quickly returned with the check. The quickest service we had received since being seated. Apologies, but I failed to mention that our server decided not to charge us for the coffee. So if you are in Marco Island, not too hungry, and have a lot of time on your hands, then stop by The Deck @560 for extremely slow service, a bland meal, and maybe a cocktail. Bring a book because you will have time to finish a few chapters. I do not recommend this restaurant. read more

Came here to eat for breakfast and dinner during our stay at the Hilton. The service was great for both meals, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant was not clean and they only had 2 high chairs, both of which had broken buckles and were greasy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had to wait for a high chair for dinner despite a reservation stating we needed a high chair. I got the burger and it was over cooked, but the French fries and the herb balsamic dressing for the garden salad was delicious. My husband, infant and I stayed at the Hilton Sun-Wed. We stopped by on Sunday when we arrived around 2:30pm for lunch. We waited a few minutes to be seated. There were a few tables occupied and the bar area was busy serving the pool area. We ordered the Mediterranean flat bread and pork tacos. Both were very good and served at perfect temperatures. You can tell the pizza has just come out the oven. Our server was pleasant, and we enjoyed our meal. My coffee was served cold, but the server was able to remediate and brought me freshly brewed hot coffee. Bachelorette party dinner fail on April 4th. Walking into the restaurant the thirteen attendees had high hopes for this Hilton restaurant. After giving our name for our reservation outside the hostess said they could only do inside. DISAPPOINTED. Next, the hostess led us to our TWO SEPARATE tables inside. That's right, even asking if we could PLEASE all sit together to celebrate our soon to be bride, they talked to "the manager" and was told they could not accommodate one table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat down and there were tables all around us that stayed empty the entire night. The restaurant was never more than half full inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Please keep in mind also that both tables had the same waitress. DISAPPOINTED. We looked at our menu and ordered our meal. More than half of us did not like our meal. The quinoa bowl in particular was flavorless and didn't taste how a quinoa bowl should taste. Others, like myself ordered the Shrimp pasta. When they placed the shrimp pasta dish in front of me, I thought they forgot to add the shrimp. After some careful scavenger hunt through my dish I was able to locate FOUR SMALL SHRIMP. The shrimp were mixed into the pasta. The pasta dish tasted like something that was sitting in a crockpot spooned onto the plate and reheated. Everyone else who ordered the shrimp pasta also only har four small shrimp mixed in as well. DISAPPOINTED. Lastly we ordered several espresso martinis. Some were creamy and some were not at all creamy. When asked why they were so different, the waitress said that it would just depend on which bartender made them. What???? The espresso martinis could not have been more different. Consistency is key when dining at a restaurant. DISAPPOINTED! We have a house on Marco Island and this was our first time dining at The Deck @ 560. Needless to say this will be our last. This is a pricier meal, and thankfully there are many many many other restaurants on the island at this price point who do much better. As many other reviews say, this place does have a bit of an identity crisis between beach and classy dining but that could be the timing since we arrived between lunch and dinner. The view is perfect with seating high enough to see the sunset over the ocean. Attire is all over the place with full cover-ups and shoes as minimum. Cocktail menu is solid--drinks arrived a bit light but the waitress brought over a complimentary shot to add. The mojito had plenty of fresh mint! We ordered off the "handhelds" side of the menu and our table liked the sandwiches and salads in general. I wouldn't order the veggie burger again though as it had a very charred flavor that had me questioning the ingredients. Overall, would come again for the view and try something else! read more

Ok so the Sandwich had some good parts to it such as the bread and the cheese, some bites of the sandwich where ice cold other weren't and where hot. The fries are very soggy and nasty. The sauce it comes with is also horrible. We waited about 45 minutes to receive our food and mid way through, it started to rain. One of the manger's where literally screaming at us to leave and said " go in now or ur gonna get hurt, Now!" repeatedly. Over the decades, the Hilton on Marco Island has reinvented itself with various interior decor changes. But the overall structure and layout of the hotel has not changed at all. They still have just one main restaurant, which is now The Deck at 560. Reservations are needed at the restaurant, whether you are a guest at the hotel or a resident looking to dine on their beachfront deck. There is a bar and lounge just at the entrance to the restaurant, which has a bit of an identity crisis...with an indoor firepit and some unique wicker decor it's trying to be upscale, but it's mixed with two sports bar TV screens that just kill that mood entirely. Inside there are about 15 tables, and outside on the deck there are about as many spread across two rows. All tables, inside and out, have a view of the beach, and an especially amazing view of sunset if you time things right. The menu has a variety of salads, seafood appetizers, steaks, fish and even pasta. And there is a nice full wine list, as well as cocktails and a well-stocked bar for drink options. Our server was very friendly and professional, though not very attentive. Overall, service was very leisurely, which may be fine for those on vacation looking to kill two hours of their day with a nice meal. Portions were unexpectedly large, a truly nice surprise as former versions of the Hilton restaurant were known for being fancy small plates. The Black Grouper was the hit of the night, though the Parpadelle with Duck Ragu was another strong contender for top dish at our table. We saw an amazing sunset, enjoyed a delicious meal, and will likely return soon! read more

We came here at night to grab some desserts and hang out by the fire pit. We arrived around 9pm maybe and the patio server was gone for the night. So we had to order our food at the bar and then sat down at the fire pit. The bartender was not the friendliest person so there's that. What was more annoying to me is that I tipped her and when the food arrived, she called out for me from the bar to come grab my food and couldn't possibly take one minute to walk around the bar to deliver our food? It was not a busy night whatsoever. It was a weeknight. There were 4 people at the bar and several people scattered around the fire pit area. I've worked in the hospitality industry as a host, server and bartender so I get it. Not impressed with the staff at bar. The host was an inviting face to see otherwise. The dessert was amazing and the patio ambiance was relaxing. The design and decor is beautiful. I would have given 5-stars for better service. The Deck at 560 treated us right while we stayed at the Hilton Marco Island. While we were here we ate two breakfasts and a lunch and while the lunch was pretty pricey, the breakfast came with our stay. You have a choice here for breakfast...you can eat from the buffet or from the menu. We decided to go with the buffet and were very happy. A very nice selection of food offered here plus they have a guy that will cook eggs to order-including omelettes. Everything from hot food to fresh fruit to pastries to meats to cereals...and on and on. They also offer fresh squeezed juices and their coffee was pretty good. For our one lunch (our first meal on the island) we needed to start with some drinks and some kind of fish. The drinks on the menu all looked great, but were $13 each. For our meals I had the Blackened grouper sandwich with fries and Wifey had the Grilled grouper fish tacos. Both meals were fantastic...but you WILL pay resort prices-just be prepared. This was a nice place to grab dinner at the resort. They had a nice variety on their menu. I got the salmon for dinner and it was delicious - However the salad was fresh and good it but was pretty bland and honestly I wasn't wowed by it - it could have been better. Their dessert was great though!! My waitstaff was a bit brusk probably because I was dining alone which was unfortunate since I travel alone for work often and this is usually not the attitude I find with most waitstaff - but o well. We felt that it is super overpriced for what is offered when you can Walk or Drive to many amazing other places on the island! Service is ok there is an omelette station that I always like!
