Happy Hearts Children's Center - Where all Hearts are Happy!

Happy Hearts Children's Center

We used to send our son to a home care, but we knew when he was ready for a bigger daycare for a more structured and more social environment. Though there are many other great daycares around the area, happy hearts was the most affordable for us. While that was the initial draw, we soon learned that the teachers at happy hearts were really energetic and happy to be there. Our toddler son loved his teachers ms. Amy and ms. Veronica. He learned so many songs from them and would talk to us about how funny his teachers are and how nice all of his friends are. He is that one kid that won't participate in a group activity or a group circle time... but he quietly is absorbing everything in the back. Ms. Amy and ms. Veronica accepted him as he was and patiently worked with him. We miss them so much. Literally almost teared as we said goodbye. We sent our daughter from 10 weeks. I was so sad to have to drop her off at such an early age, but I had to go back to work. The infant room teachers are all so calm and nice. We especially loved both ms. Hina's... our daughter has major stranger danger and she would go to ms. Hina every morning with two arms stretched and a huge smile. The infant room is always so calm and you can tell the teachers are sweet and truly love babies. She never had a diaper rash and she never got sick. All in all, we recommend. Sure, it doesn't have the super intense curriculum or high tech security that other more expensive daycares have, but the kids are cared for and my kids really loved their time at happy hearts. Every time we got on Centreville road, my son would ask excitingly, "are we going to happy hearts?" I would recommend it if you're looking for an affordable place that cares for kids. If you can afford more expensive places, then sure go for it. But this one fit our bill and we did not regret our decision one bit! We can only hope to find a daycare as good as happy hearts here in California.

This daycare shines and the teachers are the best I have seen in a daycare. We had to move and saying goodbye to this daycare was one of the hardest parts. All staff are accommodating and very communicative, I never had to guess what my daughter did that day. Definitely recommend!

My…read moretwins and one year old son used to receive their childcare here and as soon as the manager enrolled her little one, teachers were allowing her daughter to be mean and snatch and pretty much misbehave even towards other children. The managers child on numerous occasions was caught snatching toys from my non verbal twins making them cry and one morning I witness such and immediately told the little one not to do that anymore, it's not nice the toys belong to all children and when I took this to the director she decided to terminated all my children because I asked her to reinforce children safety and classroom etiquette. Just because a child can not verbalize they are playing with something doesn't give another child permission to misuse that and misbehave. Upon me retrieving my children's belongings I come to find out the director allowed for the manager Ms. Shontee and her children to still be enrolled even though it was her child who was the aggressor to my children. As disappointed as this was I'm grateful to no longer have my beautiful babies in their care. Over priced and unskilled workers, this daycare on Uhle is not worth it! Find somewhere else for your babies if you love them and value how they will be treated. They have a golden gem there by the name of Ms. Diamond who is truly a blessing in disguise and really has a heart for working with kids, aside from her, it's not worth the hassle.

Celebree Reston has a beautiful, clean and secure brand new facility. Mrs. Josephine, the owner, is a great communicator and creates a very warm and welcoming environment for children and parents. As first time parents, we were initially nervous about allowing any non-family members to care for our baby, but our daughter warmed up instantly to the caretakers at Celebree Reston. She is always happy to be there, and I can see the warmth and love that the staff have for all the children. We are so grateful to Ms. Carol and Ms. Noor for taking the best care of our baby girl. We really appreciate that there is a "plan" that parents can see for every day, which helps us to know that our child is getting the enrichment needed for healthy brain and physical development. I love that they take the children outside twice daily in their secure playground, and the app is so wonderful so that I can know what's going on with my baby while she's at daycare. My favorite part about the app is the sweet photos that I get at the end-of-day report. Working parents can rest assured that their children are in good hands at Celebree Reston. THANK YOU!!!

I would have put her in this school from the beginning had there been a spot for her but knowing what I know now, I am not surprised that there was a waiting list. I had my child in another school when she was 10 weeks old until we moved her to Winwood. From the first day that I brought her to Winwood, I saw an actual difference in her. At the end of the day when I picked her up, she was very alert and engaged. I could tell she had been actively engaged by the teachers and environment all day. So what makes it so great? Here is my top list of reasons: 1. The teachers are WONDERFUL! They truly treat your child as their own. They also help new parents like myself navigate the different development stages (such as rolling over, crawling, using a sip cup to using a regular cup, sharing, etc...). 2. The facility itself is warm and inviting and each class room is well laid out, maintained and decorated. My daughter goes into the classroom and immediately gets immersed in something. 3. They have solid security features. They have a passcode to get into the building, a check in/out system and security cameras in all of the rooms that parents and family members can view. The grandparents LOVE being able to peek in on her throughout the day! 4. The curriculum. I know my daughter is less than 2 but she has learned sign language, animals and their sounds, colors, and more. I love that she gets to play but is also getting educated! 5. The level of communication with the parents. I love the consistent emails and newsletters from the administration and teachers. 6. And finally did I mention the teachers!!!!!! They are all so wonderful. Just when I thought I would never be able to like her next set up teachers better than the ones in her last class room, I always have. So if you are looking for a daycare...look no further! You MUST go see Winwood at Reston!

Is this a place where I can feel good about leaving my child when I go to work. Thankfully, Common Ground is amazing! We found Common Ground two years ago. Our oldest daughter was attending a different daycare in Reston, and we weren't thrilled with the environment -- lots of teacher turnover, limited curriculum, and a lot of bad attitudes. It started to wear on our daughter, and we started the hunt for a new facility. We were so lucky to find Common Ground. Common Ground has GREAT teachers (the infant room teachers have been there since the late 80s... You never find that kind of tenure at a daycare!), a loving and supportive environment, a great curriculum, and most importantly, our daughters love it! We are constantly surprised at what our daughters are learning, saying, and singing. We are so lucky to have found Common Ground and so lucky to have found the right daycare for our family! Bottom line, we highly recommend Common Ground to any parents looking for quality daycare in the Reston area.
