I also loved that there was a dry erase board with information on next diaper and next bottle. As any new parents, we were nervous about the care anyone would provide that wasn't us. Now being at Chesterbrook for over 6 months with our son, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone! The cleanliness and organization continue to stand out, along with the teachers and principals kindness and love to not only our son but the other children there. They use an app called Links2Home and we get 4-6 pictures on average of our son throughout the day. Communication through the app with the teachers and principals have been quick and responsive to our requests. Recently we had asked them to switch the order in which he eats, bottles first then solids and they adapted within the next feeding time for our son. This past Friday they had a petting zoo and give us monthly finger paintings our son has done. It's difficult to allow someone else to watch your only child but I will say I have seen him blossom and become so social with others as well as seeing his natural joy be nourished with the same love that my partner and I give. Once she finally acclimated, we noticed so many positive changes. She started speaking more and interacting with other kids. She loves going to school. My son started when he was 3 months in the infant room. Naima, Erica and Martha are all pros when it comes to the little ones. And now in the Infant II class, we can see how much our son love his teachers. As in any setting with a group of kids, the usual kid drama (bites, fights, and accidents) happens, but the school does an excellent job of dealing with these situations and they are always more than happy to discuss any concerns that you may have. But the hours and the prices weren't comparable to the area. So we went with a different daycare initially. After a horrific ordeal with that other place, we decided as parents that we would make this decision for our infant, not because of money or convenience and I am so glad that we did. Somehow, we are able to make it work scheduling wise and it's about more expensive than other places but we were able to make that work too. The staff is absolutely amazing! The kids love their teachers, the parents love the staff and the communication I get from Kiddie Academy is more than I could have imagined. I get pictures and updates through the app and able to log on and see my kid anytime of the day. I can't believe there aren't ANY reviews out here for them because this place is amazing!

She is very personable, very kind and understanding, genuine and just listened to my questions, concerns and answered them confidently which gave me peace of mind sending my son over to a school during the pandemic. We then went to the school for a tour and met Ms. Komala, our son's primary teacher. At first meeting, our son felt very comfortable with her and he never forgot her name even tho it took us about 4 months before starting in class- she sure gave him a good impression and really showed us how much she cared for the children. I have so much good things to say about the school. I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers who also had good experience with them. Overall, this is a place that cares about our children, they do not look at them as numbers like all the others. If you want quality education and a safe place for your children, this is it.

I begged to be let into public school like my neighborhood friends the last three years of elementary school and even as a kid I was blown away by how much better the local public school was. You would think a private school would have more resources than a public school but this is not the case in Fairfax County where our education system is ballin. Many many many moons later, I had a friend who enrolled her kid in a private religious school and ended up moving him to public school a year later for the exact same reason I stated. The one thing that was awesome / appalling about St. Tim's was their utter disrespect for healthy school lunches in the 90's. They literally would cater our school lunches from McDonalds, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Oh memories.

I'm actually getting little weepy writing this review. And he learned so much too, my baby would come home and say the most hilarious things, like explaining bird migration to me. And he is on track with all the things he needs to be learning, so he'll be ready for kindergarten in a year. Beginning Bridges gave my son the exact experience I had hoped for in his start into school. And his teachers Mrs Skopowski and Mrs Dolezal always kept me well informed of his progress, activities... They passed on techniques to me to help me continue what he's learning in school, at home, like how to help him listen and process whatever I'm asking him to do. They even made it special for my younger son, who didn't understand why he had to return home with boring mommy everyday. They created a sign in clothespin for my little one, so he could find his name every morning on his clothespin and check in just like the big kids. And Tricia, who manages the school couldn't have been sweeter or more understanding of whatever my shortcomings were as a frazzled parent. We're moving to a different community and I'm so sad my kids won't be able to come back. Their new school has some big shoes to fill!
