It checked all my boxes of being clean, diverse, and a learning environment but it also was organized. I appreciated that each room had a picture and description of each teacher including their background and how long they have worked there. I also loved that there was a dry erase board with information on next diaper and next bottle. As any new parents, we were nervous about the care anyone would provide that wasn't us. Now being at Chesterbrook for over 6 months with our son, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone! The cleanliness and organization continue to stand out, along with the teachers and principals kindness and love to not only our son but the other children there. They use an app called Links2Home and we get 4-6 pictures on average of our son throughout the day. Communication through the app with the teachers and principals have been quick and responsive to our requests. Recently we had asked them to switch the order in which he eats, bottles first then solids and they adapted within the next feeding time for our son. This past Friday they had a petting zoo and give us monthly finger paintings our son has done. It's difficult to allow someone else to watch your only child but I will say I have seen him blossom and become so social with others as well as seeing his natural joy be nourished with the same love that my partner and I give. Love this place!!

We would walk in and he would start grinning with excitement to be with the caretakers. They took great care of our child and kept us informed of the progress of our baby. I don't understand why this place has great reviews? I guess they are all old. I have not had good…read moreexperiences here. We ended up leaving but the amount of tuition they charge (and it keeps increasing every few months) is crazy for what we're getting. pot holes in the parking lot go unfixed, their signage on the awning got taken down (both did) now its a blank space that looks like something should be there. The inside has not great lighting and wall colors, it looks kind of dim/depressing, instead of bright and clean. I don't know where all this tuition money is going. It could use a facelift and better playground. The school aged kids room has 2 men as the sole providers and I asked if there were ever female assistants or helpers in there and was pretty much told " i know there's a stigma against male daycare teachers." Ok?? sorry males are responsible for 75-90% of the crimes I'm worried about. And Males constitute the majority of "offending" child care providers/babysitters reported to the police (77%) So I don't think that was a ridiculous question or even something ridiculous to be concerned about. And her lack of concern towards MY concerns was unsettling. We also had multiple incidents with my preschooler, one she told me the teacher grabbed her face because she wouldn't wash her hands, and it hurt. They didn't really do anything about it except, apparently, ask the teacher if she did that and she said no. Ok....Why would a 3 year old make up something so random? The preschool teacher also had a loud bell she would ring to get the kids to pay attention which my 3 year old was scared of and she had sensory issues with loud sounds after that started happening, she would freak out at any loud sound and it didn't stop until after we pulled her out. Another incident in the preschool classroom was that they were trying to get all the kids to be quiet and so they told them that here's a monster out in the hallway of the school and if they don't be quiet the monster will come in. So naturally, my 3 year old told me about this, very scared, and was scared of monster in the school and at home, especially at bed time, for awhile. Again, told the front desk, I don't think anything was done about it. My 3 year old went here for a year. She cried almost every day at drop off. She hated going there. I thought it would ease up eventually but it never did. My school ager liked the kids but that was about it. One of the school aged teachers even apparently sat there and told the kids he doesn't like them and what he doesn't like about each one, and some kids cried. I'm just glad I'm out of this money suck. It is not up to the standards that the local competition has, and shouldn't be charging the same tuition as the local competition. I would not recommend this place.

I can't rave about this place enough! I absolutely adore Daniel, Bella and the entire staff! Every morning when I drop off, everyone says hello to Ellie and shower her with affection. Even teachers that haven't been in her class before make it a point to say "Good Morning" and complement her or give her a hug. Ellie usually walks through and waves to everyone like she owns the place. She's been learning so much from them too! She sings a ton of different songs and every day she comes home with something new to say or sing. We just had another baby and can't wait for him to start there too. We have been considering moving to a different county but this day care is what is holding us back for now. That's how much we adore this place! If you're on the fence about choosing a day care center, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed with Kiddie Academy of Centreville! Original 2016: We have been enrolled at Kiddie Academy for 3 months now. At first visit, we loved this place because the smaller classrooms and the video streaming capability. But the hours and the prices weren't comparable to the area. So we went with a different daycare initially. After a horrific ordeal with that other place, we decided as parents that we would make this decision for our infant, not because of money or convenience and I am so glad that we did. Somehow, we are able to make it work scheduling wise and it's about more expensive than other places but we were able to make that work too. The staff is absolutely amazing! The kids love their teachers, the parents love the staff and the communication I get from Kiddie Academy is more than I could have imagined. I get pictures and updates through the app and able to log on and see my kid anytime of the day. I can't believe there aren't ANY reviews out here for them because this place is amazing!

We have formed long lasting friendships with both the staff and other attending families. They have put a lot of heart and effort into cultivating an environment that IS FAMILY! The teachers are warm and loving, and you really feel like you are putting your child in the best of hands during their time there. The kids get plenty of socializing, playing, practice with fine motor skills, learning their letters, months, numbers, seasons, etc. The list goes on and on. The children get music class, science lessons, library time. I mean, it's the perfect prep for elementary school! They also have a couple of wonderful programs that other preschools don't often have. A Mothers Day Out program for the one year olds that give the kids some fun time with friends and the Moms some much needed time to get errands and appointments in! They also had an extended day option that was available on some days for some of the ages that gave them an extra two hours of time there. If you live in this area and you want your child to have a wonderful preschool experience, please call to schedule a visit!

The teachers here are wonderful and have so many years of experience under their belts and the directors are wonderful and truly care about the children and their well being as well as emotional/educational growth. I'm actually getting little weepy writing this review. And he learned so much too, my baby would come home and say the most hilarious things, like explaining bird migration to me. And he is on track with all the things he needs to be learning, so he'll be ready for kindergarten in a year. Beginning Bridges gave my son the exact experience I had hoped for in his start into school. And his teachers Mrs Skopowski and Mrs Dolezal always kept me well informed of his progress, activities... They passed on techniques to me to help me continue what he's learning in school, at home, like how to help him listen and process whatever I'm asking him to do. They even made it special for my younger son, who didn't understand why he had to return home with boring mommy everyday. They created a sign in clothespin for my little one, so he could find his name every morning on his clothespin and check in just like the big kids. And Tricia, who manages the school couldn't have been sweeter or more understanding of whatever my shortcomings were as a frazzled parent. We're moving to a different community and I'm so sad my kids won't be able to come back. Their new school has some big shoes to fill!
