Wow, Disney's Kingdom Hearts III finally comes out. The game has been out in Japan for a long…read moretime. With all the new Disney movies that have come out since Kingdom Hearts II, a lot of new territories have been added to the gaming world....as far as the Disney world is concerned . This game stop store was clean and organized from what I saw. The manager I talked to was cool and informative to the question I had for him. I like this store and the location is in a good place. I will be sure to return.

So about 3pm today I go into the Dulles 28 GameStop. I ask to purchase a Ragnarok PS5, warranty and…read moreto renew my GameStop account. I ask the manager can I split payments he says yes. I pay my first payment with a card $254. Then try to my credit card on my phone. That card is strictly credit . I don't have a pin. Well it doesn't go thru so he says hit cancel and try again. I try again and it doesn't go thru. I tell him we will have to cancel the transaction until a further time. He tells me well I'm not sure if I can do that. Let me call help desk. He calls the help desk and says they canceled it. But he then shuts down the work register. He never gave me a receipt, email or any type of cancellation form. He told me oh you weren't charged. But I check my account and I was charged $254. I only have some type of register log saying I spent $254. I've been shopping at GameStop for 15 plus years. Never have I ever got done bad this way. This guy constantly kept slamming stuff and being angry with me when I did nothing. I'm a customer. I've never been so scared to go back to a store. I just want my money back and I'll never even visit a GameStop again . This is for 10 year old nephew whom my brother sent me to go grab. He's now out of $254 and my nephews birthday gift has now been sold. Like what do I do now? This is messed up

Haterz gone hate. Looking at you, Joe and Chef. Jk, I don't care…read more I liked the store. My friend and I hovered outside uncertainly and the drunk guys smoking outside the bar across the street started heckling us to go in, though they were funny about it not offensive. I believe one of them yelled "treat yourself, you deserve it!" You know what sir? I do! So we went inside and the store is small but they packed plenty of DVDs and toys in there. The DVDs were really cheap, starting at around $5. I've been in other stores where they were $40 or $50 bucks. Like seriously? Do you not know pornhub.com exists??? So I've heard, that is. I would never visit such a site. I didn't get any movies but I got an adult game that was only $5.49. Don't be afraid to keep things fresh ladies! The festive holiday window displays are welcoming, even if one is St. Paddy's but the other side still has Santa.

I go for the pipes. No, they aren't the big fancy pieces you'll see at the other shops, but how often do you buy those rip off pieces anyway. Here you can buy a glass pipe for $2, yes, two dollars. It's brittle and thin but it's $2. Mine has lasted a month and I can throw it whenever I want. Also got a bubbler for $18 and it's thick glass and I love it. Got my gf a bat and she loves it. Also got a $4 grinder, it's cheap and plastic but in all honesty I prefer cheap stuff I can throw out if need be. All together paid around $35 which is the amount they wanted for just my gf's bat at the other places. I will stop here every time I'm on market street.

HUGE used book store and well worth the drive!…read more Their trade in process was really straightforward - when you walk in there's a trade in counter where they ask you to put your books into bins. I had one large bag that I sorted between two bins, one for books and the other for single issue comics and DVDs/non-books. About 45 minutes later I got a text that my trade-in was ready. I came back to the same counter after browsing the store and they offered me in-store credit or a lower amount in cash. They also returned the items they didn't want and I had the option to take them with me or leave them as a donation. I think it was a fair deal for what I donated, and I opted for the in-store credit. The store has a great mix of used books, dvds, comics, vinyl, and more that's pretty well organized. I will say there's a fair amount of duplicates of certain titles and it was interesting that some were priced higher than others - so check all the labels! In general the prices were reasonable with a few exceptions - I saw a really worn copy of a new hardback that they were selling for the list price ($35!) even though it had been out long enough that other books sellers were discounting it already. But then I also got a box set of dvds for $10 and a bunch of kids books for $0.50-2.00. It was easy to spend that in-store credit!

I have been shopping at this store for years now, unfortunately todays trip will be my last. Mckays…read morehas always had inaccurate pricing, but today they were so bad that I almost thought I was dreaming. Tell me why I saw Star Wars the Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels for $18... Currently this game goes for $3.67 on pricecharting, heck when it game out in 2008 its peak was only a measly $5. Multiple gbc/gba shovelware games all overmarket, by around 10 dollars as well. In general the amount of 3-5 dollar games that they are trying to pass off as 15 - 20 dollar games is dis gracefully disgusting. The point of traveling to these stores are to get the good deals. All of the inventory they have are traded in for or donated so it makes NO sense! It seems that the employees make guesses when it comes to prices, that or they are being told to overprice by upper management. By the gaming section there was a sign that claimed that all of the consoles and equipment is tested beforehand by "gamers with over 30 years of experience" whatever that means. I got an Xbox One Kinect from them back in December, and worked normally. A couple days later I wanted to try using its mic functionality, was not functioning. So it was never fully tested by "gamers with over 30 years of experience" lol. The worst part is that they give you a 3 day warranty... it's not like people have kids, jobs, or other commitments I guess. The media (dvds and blu rays) were also overpriced per usual. Usually only by 5-10 bucks. My main discrepancy today was that I saw multiple dvds and blu rays with dirt and filth smattered on the covers. Your telling me that they have the audacity to up charge, and still refuse to even spend 10 seconds wiping the cover with a lysol wipe? Is it that hard to do? Disgusting! I can't speak on their book pricing as I am not well versed but pretty much everything else is overpriced in this store. It really sucks because these type of stores are supposed to be for lower income families who can't buy new. And instead is being treated like a greedy gaming convention booth. I genuinely feel bad for kids nowadays who want to start growing a small gaming collection post pandemic. With greedy "thrift" stores like this, even the shovel ware games are off-limits.
