It was a really fun and calming place to get ready for such an exciting day.  My decision was based on past experience, services they offer, fair pricing, convenience, quality of work, and I am close friends with the owner, Sara.  She and I worked together at my updo trial, as well as the day-of, to create just the look I wanted for my winter wedding. Sara catered to exactly what we all needed as well...She was overly accommodating and went above and beyond to create a fun, relaxed, and enjoyable environment for all of us to get ready that morning. She completed updos and formal styling on myself (bride), my mother, my grandmother, 3 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, and a friend of mine who attended the wedding as a guest.  Everything ran smoothly and we were on time for our limo to pick us up. I rate SM Hair Studio 10 out of 10!

I am so glad I went to European wax Center and had my wax specialist Becca take care of me. She took great care of me, and I've never have been in better hands. I was fascinated to hear that their wax was custom-made, free of parabens, and their patent formula leads directly at the end of the hairline, and not on the skin. What helped me get through the pain was having the image of ripping off a Band-Aid in one quick motion. This is an honest review, and I'm going to say that getting a wax you will experience and amount of pain but it's not insurmountable. If you have a high pain tolerance, it's no problem. I was also fascinated to see the amount of products they sell at the center. I was also happy to see that they were free of parabens and harsh chemicals. They also have special packages of waxes for purchase. If you come once a month or even twice a month, these packages are worth purchasing. I highly recommend European wax Center and trust me. But I also texted her twice as well asking for availability, again during salon hours understandable she could have been with clients all day. However, I'm sitting here at 1am still without a response even though her messages were confirmed to go through. I ended up refunding the Groupon. It's a true bummer because all her Groupon and yelp reviews are stellar. Update: I did get a text back Michelle this morning to schedule services, she didn't want to respond to my texts late at night (understandable). It seemed like a one off hectic day for her, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She has wonderful feedback otherwise. I would come back to her for services because she is very meticulous with her work and I'd rather support small business than the big chains anyways. She was kind and did try to keep my mind off of the work. Her salon is located in Sola Salons, #14. I just walked around till I found her room, wasn't too hard.
