I'd give it about a 7/10. The cauliflower wings were solid and pretty much what you'd expect, around a 7.5/10. Now the standouts... the blueberry cheesecake was a 10/10....so good, rich, and flavorful. The potatoes with queso at the bottom were also amazing, definitely a 9/10. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which I really enjoyed it's slightly on the sweeter side, but still a 9/10 for me. My son got the animal-style burger and absolutely loved it, he gave it a 10/10. On top of the food, the staff was really kind and the customer service was great. I even had the chance to meet the owner, who was incredibly sweet. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot if you're in Nashville. I'll be coming back every time I'm in the city.

Regardless if you have been a long-time vegan like me, are plant-based curious, or a carnivore…read more.. AVO is a fantastic option for brunch, lunch, happy hour, dinner or special occasions. I love to have business lunches here because of the beautiful space, efficient service, easy parking, and of course for the TASTY food and drink. The Lentil Walnut and Cali Burger are legendary, so much so that the damn New York Times featured The Cali, a few years back. As a vegan of 15 years, I can attest that NYC has plenty of options and some of the most innovative offerings, but when an independently owned spot in the South can capture an audience from all over the world, that means something. There is a cult-following for the Kimchi Spring Rolls, Cauliflower Wings, and my beloved Kale Caesar Salad but DO NOT SLEEP on the rotating seasonal menu either. The Dan Dan Noodles, Shroom Meatloaf, Cacio E Pepe, and Loco Mac are... Chef's Kiss! The cocktail menu never disappoints with fun and interesting sips and if you don't imbibe, the mocktails make you forget that they aren't spiked. Delish. The energy and vibes are always on-point here as well. From family-friendly offerings to hosting and supporting inclusive community events, AVO is the spot to unwind and/or for your celebrations. Service is efficient and full of smiles. I can't say it enough, AVO is a wonderful place and the definition of hospitality.

The grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful. Bun super soft and the addition of pineapple added a touch of sweetness. The first time I went there was only the bartender servicing the entire restaurant, and she did the best she could given the circumstances. So I give this place a 4. I also came when it wasn't super busy so food came out quickly. My second time was happy hour on purpose. I wanted the Pinot again but they didn't have a full glass worth of it left. She gave me what little they did have, and I ordered the Preds Punch. Way too sweet but looked really cool. Both times service was good. Would go back a third time if I'm ever in the area.

The game had started but the espn coverage didn't start til about 10 mins in. Not the bars fault. I asked for a short glass of pineapple juice and a shot of casamigos. I didn't get a cocktail napkin or any napkin guess I should have asked for that too. Took forever to get someone to take a few apps while watching the game. Mind you literally 7 people in the place. Ordered the pretzel and cauliflower poppers. Not sure why they are called poppers. They're just fried and served with some sauces. Very breaded but tasty. The sauces were good but don't know what they were. The pretzels were from a box you can throw in the oven at home but the cheesy sauce was good. Service questionable, food sub optimal, ambiance- it's a bar. Mostly likely never coming back.

The cooks were throwing down in that kitchen! Over a couple of days I tried a few things. SZECHUAN SALAD I got the Szechuan Salad with both kale and spinach. I added tempeh bacon and extra dressing on the side. (It didn't need the extra dressing though.) This salad is SO good! I had to force myself to put the fork down and not overeat. It's a large portion so you can share or save half for another day. (When doing this I recommend getting the dressings on the side to prevent soggy greens.) All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and that Szechuan tofu was thoroughly marinated. Deliciousness! The tempeh (and at home avocado) that I added wasn't necessary but it sure was tasty. This salad is gluten free. SZECHUAN BRUSSELS I love me some roasted brussels sprouts so it was a must to try theirs. I added jalapeños and Hot Tempeh. I have no idea what Hot Tempeh is but I wanted to try it. Best decision ever. The dish itself is amazing. 10/10! The sprouts are saturated in the Szechuan sauce and spices, so every tender bite bursts with tantalizing flavors in your mouth. The Hot Tempeh is tempeh with a coating. It's quite delicious and it elevated an already soaring experience for me. The Szechuan Brussels dish is gluten free, but the Hot Tempeh is not (because of the breading). DUBAI CHOCOLATE CAKE Because I had to. It was NOT gluten free, but I risked it (I have a gluten sensitivity). They did have a gluten free chocolate cake and a gluten free brownie à la mode dish, but I needed that Dubai Chocolate. It was delicious. BLUEBERRY PANCAKES I ordered a single pancake, gluten free for $1 extra. So fluffy and buttery. You'd never guess it was gluten free or vegan. ROASTED POTATOES Excellent preparation and seasonings. MOCK TUNA MELT Gluten free when ordered as a bowl. It was served on a bed of spinach instead of bread. I omitted the cheese and tomatoes. It was very good and the chipotle sauce had a great kick. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE Gluten free. Rich. Delicious. Everything I ate here exceeded my expectations. Graze is sure to be one of my go to spots for delicious food when I'm in Nashville.

The Coconut Queso was an absolute hit. I haven't stopped thinking about it since I got it. I got the Quinoa Sweet Potato Salad from the dinner menu as well but it was very similar to what was already in my bowl nonetheless delicious all on its own. Boyfriend got the Brunch Tostadas and he enjoyed them. We both got the triple stack Gluten-Free Pancakes to share and the texture was like an old fashioned pancake we contemplated getting another stack. That's how good it was. Our friend got the Tofu Chicken Biscuit as well as a single pancake. He liked his biscuit and ended up ordering another pancake! All in all, wonderful mindful eats. I would 100% recommend and return.
