I needed a printable edible image and emailed the image to them I called to see if they received it and the owners said that they had a new email so i in turn told the owners that i didnt know and would honor the same day policy. They do have lots of stuff but be prepared to deal with horrible attitudes. They definitely don't appreciate your business. The lady that works there is just mean! And don't ask a question.... just look around and buy your stuff and leave. That's your best bet. I wish I could say I'd never go back again. I googled cake decorating supplies and I found this place! I wasn't even in the search for something local, but I'm glad I found this place. They have pretty much everything you could think of when it comes to any type of dessert. The store offers cake boards individually which is what I was searching for. I found Americolor food gel which is cheaper than the Americolor website! They have a wall full of cookie cutters. There is just so much. The store is a bit cramped but it wasn't overly crowded. The cashier wasn't the nicest but I made her smile. When I was leaving the parking lot, I was bit nervous turning left and having to see both ways, however there's a light right there! Even better. I gave this two stars only because of their abundance of supplies. The lady who owns it has a huge fear factor about wearing a mask that caused her to yell at me, loudly. She also said she didn't care if I had a breathing problem or not. She did however take my money for the chocolate. I have been going there for over 30 years. I will not return. Same chocolate on Amazon. So.. I hope she turns her TV off and does a little research on her own. She will find we are fine. VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES! We were followed around the whole shopping trip by an older lady who, when we asked a question about a cake pan, she had to ask someone else since "she doesnt bake" as she told us. When paying at the register we told the cashier about our rude experience she literally ignored us, I then asked if she had anything to say to us about how rude every employee was including herself and she continued to stare at me in silence until we walked away! I LOVE this place, But know what you want and get in and get out. The cashier/clerk is never friendly and there's signs all over the place. Too many signs. I would never write so many insultive , demanding notes to my customers. I definitely recommend this business if your not one to care about how other people act toward you. Usually I've seen two people in there (male and female.) They are helpful if you need something or have questions but they are not friendly at all . Seems like they don't know how to smile or know a lot about customer service. I stopped by on a lazy afternoon to check out what the store had to offer. There's a parking lot in the back that's a brisk walk from the store itself but if you are planning on bringing a stroller or wheelchair into the store, there are no handicap ramps/stroller access. The inside of the store smells glorious, it may be the big bags of chocolate chips that are stashed in the back area. The selection of cake supplies seemed vast but the organization of the store was a bit confusing to me. With that being said, I came in with both of my children (under two) and a stroller I thought I'd be able to use so I was a little disoriented. I was disappointed by the lack of customer service (no greeting when I came in or a smile) when I came in, mostly because it's a smaller establishment where the lack of those things are very noticeable as opposed to if I walked into a Jo-Anns. Overall I think it's a decent store with an average selection of cake making supplies. If you're looking for super specific items like a heating core, you're probably better off at a Michael's but for your run of the mill, everyday things, this is your store. I recommend going without small children as it's too cramped for all of that. read more

I've been coming here since I was a tiny kid! My mom would bring me here for supplies for her various confectionary projects. Now, I go here for mine! It can be a tad difficult to spot, but it's on a little strip of stores in a cute area. When I was a kid, all they occupied was one small space that was really difficult to move around it. Now, they've expanded to the place next door and although space is still limited, it's easier to move around and they have a lot more inventory. I'm really into sucre moule, and it can be hard to find materials I need for it without ordering them online. I love how this place has a huge selection of colorings and flavors, and don't even get me started on their mold selection! They have a whole room dedicated to it. This shop has been here for as long as I can remember. I usually come here when I need some flavorings or bags in a jiff. Its so much better than the big box craft stores that MAY have you cake decorating items. This place as so much more though. Do you make candies? They have everything from molds, to the meltables! I love this store! I will say when I first went there Jeanie one of the ladies that work their gave me a really bad vibe. She came off as rude. Trust me that's just the way she talks. She is a really sweet lady. You just have to get to know her. Mr. Jim is a very kind man he goes out of his way to help meet your needs. The older lady is just a sweet heart. I love this place! Fran's in Fairfax was my go to but now that I've found Kake Kraft it's no turning back. The 2 people working there are so helpful and knowledgeable! Whatever you need they got it and if they don't have it in the back they will tell you how to achieve what you want with the products they have. The store seems small at first but is organized well. Cookie cutters and cake dummies etc on one side then the main entrance is all cake related supplies (i.e., molds, dust, glitters, color) I am so happy to have found the place and visit frequently. read more

I went into the store yesterday with the intention of purchasing some Wilton's brand coloring for fondant. The website advertises that Wilton's products are still sold. When entering the store, the shop employee asked how she could help. I told her I was looking for Wilton's brand fondant coloring. She bluntly and somewhat rudely replied that she doesn't sell Wilton's and recommended another brand. I was ensured that this other brand "Americolor" was better than Wilton's. Upon using the product later that evening, the coloring would not become more rich and dark as it was added, unlike how Wilton's brand was. If you are looking and wanting a rich color to your fondant, I recommend going to AC Moore or another craft store for Wilton's brand. read more

When I moved from the Maryland area to North Carolina I thought my candy making days were over. Down here there are no Candy making/Cake making stores for the Do It Yourselfers. I wanted to make candy for the different holidays for my grandchildren but felt it was impossible. I always went to Kake Kraft Korner in Glen Burnie for all my supplies so I contacted them by phone and was able to get everything I needed mailed to me.
