So when I walked into this appointment knowing I would likely need full-mouth extractions, I was terrified. From the moment I sat down, I knew this office was different from any dental office I had ever visited. The staff's kindness and compassion immediately stood out. Patrick, the dental assistant helping with my care, was an absolute ray of sunshine. He treated me like we had been friends for years. I hadn't eaten that morning, and my blood pressure was a little concerning. Without hesitation, Patrick offered me part of his own lunch to help. Beyond that, he was one of the funniest and most genuine people I have ever met. When you're as fearful as I am, having someone who can make you laugh and feel comfortable makes all the difference. My 7-year-old daughter was with my wife and me during the visit. When she heard I was going to have surgery to remove all of my teeth, she became upset and started crying. Patrick immediately comforted her with a hug and helped calm her fears. The rest of the staff went above and beyond as well, taking her to the front desk, letting her pick out a toy, and keeping her company while I underwent my procedure. Dr. Nguyen was equally amazing. Throughout the entire procedure, she continually checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. The team even covered me with a weighted blanket to help me feel more secure and relaxed. Every step of the way, Dr. Nguyen and her staff did everything possible to make sure I was comfortable, cared for, and supported. For someone with severe dental anxiety, this experience could not have been more positive. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness shown by everyone in this office were unlike anything I have ever experienced in a dental setting. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. They don't just care for your teeth--they care for you as a person.

I had an emergency dental visit during the holidays for onset of tooth pain from wisdom teeth and I…read moreended up being referred to Beacon for wisdom teeth removal where I was seen by Dr. Lieblick. The overall experience was poor. They only provide out of network insurance coverage, which typically means an increased cost to the patient, but I was assured by Dr. Lieblick the surgery would be uncomplicated after doing X-rays and I was eager to have some pain relief and get rid of the problem. After my surgery, there was no post op check from the doctor, I was monitored by a dental assistant until my spouse picked me up. I had questions regarding the procedure, but he had already stepped into his next case so no review or discharge was given from him. One week after the surgery, I was still in extensive pain that radiated to my jaw and temple, significant swelling across my face and in the back of my throat making it difficult to swallow, and a foul taste in my mouth. Giving benefit of the doubt, I did a call consultation on a Saturday where the on call doctor, Dr. Rehrer, told me to "ride it out" because the symptoms were normal, but offered to come in if the information above persisted on Monday. I did, so they were able to squeeze me in where Dr. Rehrer took a quick look inside my mouth and told me "everything looks fine, unfortunately you have delayed healing." I came in that Monday seeking help and instead felt dismissed by the surgeon. As a first time mom who is currently nursing and having all these dental issues it has been extremely difficult and painful to eat and even swallow liquid due to swelling and Dr. Rehrer did not offer any further assistance or empathy for that matter. Still in pain, I sought a second opinion from another doctor. They told me Dr. Lieblick left an exposed root, I had dry socket, and I was started on antibiotics and even steroids for the major inflammation. With such a vast difference on the post care diagnosis - I can't help but write a poor review based on my surgery, post op care, and overall experience that left me feeling neglected as a patient. But most of the time was spent walking me through the $13,000 worth of dental care they claimed I needed, with the x-rays used as 'evidence". They recommended a 3-session "Deep Cleaning" that costs over $3,000, and five crowns. I have no insurance, so when I asked which crown was most urgent, the response was that all were equally urgent. Though merely "preventative." I requested a regular cleaning instead of the "Deep Cleaning" and they REFUSED to give me one. After previously telling me that would be part of this first visit. I've always had regular dental care from qualified professionals who always assured me that care options were my choice. And they all had the philosophy, "If it's stable, don't mess with it." It's very interesting that my previous dentist saw me 6 months ago and mentioned NONE of these problems. This leads me to the" conclusion that Gentle Dental is just trying to make a lot of money by urging unneeded treatments. My son looked them up on a consumer watchdog website and the vast majority of the comments said that very thing. Our bad for investing $100 in their "smile plan" up front. But I guess that's a small price to pay to find out that we need a different dentist. Gentle Dental, you're fired!

Also generally when you are doing monthly checkups (paid for in advance) you should have an availability that isn't a month out. The dental assistant named Kayla is extremely kind. She's always very respectful and friendly. I really appreciate how careful she is when checking my teeth. Some of my teeth are sensitive and she does an amazing job keeping my teeth from hurting. The dentist Anna Dneprov is really smart. She always knows exactly what needs to be done when she knows is something wrong with my teeth and she does an amazing job performing whatever task is necessary. I also like the fact that they always hand me a reminder card I can put in my wallet so I don't forget about my appointment and they are even courteous enough to send you a text reminder a few days before.
