Kahala Mall has always been my go-to mall to just hang out at! The mall itself is always clean and the AC keep everyone cool on a hot Hawaii day! Customer service from any store I've been in has been helpful and friendly. There's something for everyone at Kahala Mall - food, movies, shopping, toys, and even a hair salon! You can even consider the all a one-stop shop! Highly recommend giving Kahala Mall a visit if you haven't yet done so!

Free parking and has AC! I came for Sanrio, but there's so many fun stores! I ended up staying longer due to all the different shops. Also birds get inside lol.

Sanrio Store brought me back to my childhood! Good service, expensive items, but Sanrio is pricey! They do have a lot for a little store!

Literally had the best experience The front desk lady was SO nice and helped me set up my appointment and made everything super easy. When I sat in Delwin's chair, he recommended an ash color that I wasn't even sure about at first, but omg it turned out sooo good. I'm actually obsessed with the color. I had bleached my own hair before (bad idea) and had a lot of breakage and uneven spots that made it lowkey look like a mohawk. He color corrected it, fixed the breakage, and blended everything perfectly and it was all included in the same charge, which I really appreciated. Delwin is super nice, easy to talk to, and actually knows what he's doing. He even gave me a 20% off gift which was so sweet. Also made me hot chocolate like what!! 10/10 experience, definitely book with him ^^

The Management of Kahala Mall does a wonderful job both maintaining a high quality product as well embracing the Kapuna (Senior Citizens). My mother who passed away at 92 spent 3-4 days a week visiting with her friends by Starbucks. It was the highlight of her day. Mahalo for all that the Kahala Mall Staff

Great area for walking and shopping! Well lit inside air conditioned mall. Area is being set up for Holiday Mom Made Market. Not very crowded on a Friday evening. Family friendly place to shop and play at. Big selection of local and Main stream department stores to shop. Macy's, Longs Drugs, See's Candy, Tori Richard's, Plus Interiors, The Face shop and so much more. Macy's is have a One Day Sale today! Dollar Days too! After shopping, you can eat at California Pizza Kitchen, The Counter or so many other places.

This past year I've been frequenting the Kahala Mall. Years ago (& to this day) it was to volunteer for the Healthy Baby Contest. They have the space to host those type of events, to include their annual Halloween Costume Party. Restrooms: Okay, you know those restrooms on the underground floor? I don't know about you but those mirrors that supposed to help you see who's around the corner kind of freaks me out. I get it why they're there, it just not my cup of tea. Other than that, the restrooms are usually clean everytime I visit. Parking: There's various parking surrounding the mall. You may have to park farther & walk a little bit more to get to wherever you need to go. Aesthetics: the Mall is a bit older so things such as the carpet looks a bit outdated. Theater: There is a movie theater to catch a movie, which is always a plu¹¹s for a mall to have. Restaurants/Stores: Many to choose from ranging from local to franchises. Other unique things: There's Whole Foods to do your grocery shopping. Overall: the mall's a great place to bring your family, shop, dine, watch movies.

A very nice shopping center with a nice selection of shops and eatery. Of course, the highlight for me is the Musubi Cafe!! Can never get enough of those dangerous musubi's!! ;P There are plenty of spaces for sitting down and resting, or to enjoy a snack or coffee. The mall also has a lot of friendly security patrols and a very friendly service desk -- who are eager and willing to help with directions or questions.

Ask the Community - Kahala Mall

    Does Kahala mall have restaurants?

There are a lot of "take out" restaurants within the mall, but if you're looking for a "sit down" dine in restaurant, off of my head I will say there is - CPK, Chili's, The Counter, Gomatei, Kuru Kuru Sushi, & Puka's.… Read more

Does kahala mall have a family bathroom?

There's a family restroom at the end of the mall--theatre side.

Are the tables & chairs by the center fountain out for public use?

Yes but getting one is almost like winning the lottery. People love to sit for hours there so the turnover is very rare.

    Is the mall pet friendly?

Yes, as long as you keep him/her on a leash

First of all I can't believe that a bakery used to be here as now it's home to Safeway which wasn't my go to grocery store until they began to set their place here in Kapahulu Shopping Center which is quite massive and very nice to include a Starbucks as well, yes it is definitely the anchor here with a lot of free parking and we all know that it does fill up fast but they do have an upper level as well just take the ramp up and you'd be surprised to see a lot more stalls along with elevators to take you down so it's an easy access to wherever you're going as this shopping center is filled with wonderful merchants like AT&T, Chronic Tacos, Panda Express, Timmy T's, GNC just to name a few. For those that are here just to pick up some take out food there are a few stall dedicated for that for ease of doing so like delivery drivers I do see take full advantage of that making it a thoughtful process for those that are just here for a few and with that is time saved for those that are staying near Waikiki or before heading out to the freeway.
