We were walking around Waikiki and came across the Royal Hawaiian Center when we were looking for a little treat. I wanted a mid day pick me up so we were looking for coffee. They have shopping as well as food options. It is beautiful walking around in there. They also have seating that you can sit down at and enjoy. It was a very peaceful moment while I enjoyed my drink.

security woman recording on the job and threatening to call the police on the young lady doing her makeup.

I witness an act of discrimination by a security guard. She single out a woman name Jazz for doing her makeup, meanwhile I can visibly see a man in other bathroom shaving his face. That's not right! What's the policy where makeup is not hygienic but shaving is?

We went here to watch Rock-a-hula. The dinner was buffet and there was a lot of food. The best for me was the lechon. Its skin was so crunchy and a lot of flavors. Include in the buffet was roast beef , chicken, fresh fruits. Drinks, macaroni salad, rice, fish. Potato dish that I forgot the name, rice. They had their own sauces. Everything was good and it was well organized. Inside the theater, we were not allowed to take pics or video of the show so, I didn't have much taken. Service was good and friendly. Value wasn't too bad. With all the food, you'd be satisfied. The show was very entertaining. In. Summary, it's the history of Hawaii and its music at the beginning until the present.

As a whole, I enjoyed visiting this center. When it came to the directory, I only wanted to visit the food spots. I'm not a person who tends to shop in the mall. If I do, it's for the holiday vibes and food court. Before the center got packed, I visited Penny's Waikiki malasadas. I noticed the other two places I wanted to try wouldn't open until later. I decided to explore the center as I devoured the malasadas. Once Mahaloha Burger Waikiki and Wicked Maine Lobster opened, I placed orders to-go. This center has a fantastic selection of delicious foods. If you don't want to go far from your hotel to grab a meal, the center has all you need for your entire trip.

My second favorite mall in Honolulu, conveniently located near the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Waikiki Beach. They have a good selection of high-end retail stores, a food court, and great dining options. There's even a nice courtyard, The Royal Grove, where you can take free hula lessons and enjoy free entertainment. I see kids play around here with families. Recommended stores and eateries to visit: Dean & Deluca- lots of Japanese visitors go there for afternoon tea and merch Miffy x Kira for Miffy fans out there Koho Chocolates- Hawaiian-inspired chocolate souvenir Honolulu Cookie Company- pineapple-shaped butter cookies to take home Junbi- matcha Island Vintage Shave Ice- always a long line Kith Treats- soft serves inside a luxury retail store Kith Banan- frozen banana soft serve with fruits served outside of the building by walking through the beach access Island Vintage Coffee- always a line at 5 am TsuruTonTan- mentaiko ramen Tim Ho Wan- popular dim sum for Filipinos Restaurant Suntory- fancy Japanese restaurant Btw, their restrooms near the food court are labeled in Hawaiian, so remember "Wahine" is for women and "Kane" is for men for anyone coming from the Mainland and other countries. I also hate that they charge over $10 for parking past two hours, but you can get it validated at a restaurant. Prefer to walk from the hotel or take The Bus.

The Royal Hawaiian Center hosts live music and hula every night in the Center Court Atrium at 5:30 to 6:30pm. The highlights are the Kawika Trask show on Tuesday night. The live music blends traditional Hawaiian songs, as well as some hapa haole songs in a fast paced 1 hr show. They incorporate traditional hula with several dancers and explain every song and it's meaning to the crowd. Be sure to stay to the end of the show as you may get a fresh flower lei put on you to end the night.

Large outdoor shopping center. Great selection of stores ranging from high end to local boutiques. There are a ton of restaurants and also a food hall. It's a nice area to walk around and hangout. Sometimes they have performances like singing or hula dancing.

The Royal Hawaiian Center has been around since the '80s, and they have various stores and boutiques, dining options, and even family-friendly events. We came here to purchase a luggage, grab some drinks, as well as some desserts to go. I just wished that areas were clearly labeled and/or have more directories so you can easily locate places you need to get to. There's parking available that you can also get validated. +family-friendly events +validation available

Fun shopping center- big and bustling with a lot of activities, decorated for Christmas time with plenty of Hawaiian singing and hula dancing performances in the plaza. Lots of food and shopping options as well as a food court and a food hall.

Really enjoy my trips to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Always find beautiful themed decorations to match the season: Christmas trees and bows at Christmas to red lanterns across the promenade during Chinese New Year! And I really appreciate the support they show for our military as well as kamaaina. With a mere $10 minimum purchase and identification to support, one can get three hours of free parking. Now that is an amazing treasure in Waikiki. And I have found some favorite places to frequent such as Junbi (best iced green teas and other green tea products), Tsurutontan for delicious midrange Japanese meals and happy hour, the entertainment at center court and the really nice food courts scattered around the Shopping center. Easy to get lost for a few hours in the mall!

If you are looking for high end luxury... then this is the place for you! I came here for the food court though which had some of the best food stops when walking around, plus yummy Malasadas made fresh.

A beautiful, tropical garden shopping center that caters to Japanese tourists in every way. Exotic shops selling fashionable and traditional Hawaiian articles and clothing. Fancy quaint coffee shops, restaurants, shops, a western food court, and restrooms equipped with bidets. Beautiful, lush, tropical backdrops for selfies and photos! Must visit!

This is the main shopping center in the heart Waikiki along with the International Marketplace. This center has mostly hight end luxury shops. Tiffany, Harry Winston, Fendi, Hermes, Saint Laurent, etc. all are located in this center. This center also has some of the best dining options. They have a great mix of casual dining in the food court. Try L&L Barbecue and Kulu Kulu Bakery if you need a quick bite. They also have very good sit down restaurants. P.F. Chang, Cheesecake Factory, Noi Thai, Wolfgang's Steakhouse, Doraku and Tim Ho Wan to name a few. The customer service center closes at 8pm. If you need to go there for any reason or to get validation for parking make sure you go before 8.

Well, I instructed my daughter to grab the order as I went to the lavatory and I would meet her at a nearby table. As I approached the counter, I saw her ask for a drink holder. And then I saw her attempt to stack the boxes atop the other!!! Wth???? Hold up, Baby Girl??!!! "XqquuuZzee mee?? Please may she have a bag???" My child says, " I got it!" " I'm sure you do. Wejust spent $30 here on 2 meals and you are here alone. The least they can do is offer you a drink carrier and food carrier!" The counter clerk gives me the bag, I say TY, pack it, and turn to leave. Another staff says something to that clerk, who then turns to me," what name is the order under?" I give them my name. And walk away. In most work situations, these are training issues, and I have great compassion for ignorance. High end stores, high end restaurants and other great things like art exhibits. Now that I live in California, I do visit Oahu every two years. At the time when we came here in 2019, we went to a photography exhibit by National Geographic. Now this is something I enjoy. I think tourists could enjoy it too and bring in the modernized look for Waikiki. I have been on the fence about the traditional vendors over these overpriced high end stores. I look at it in a business perspective. Hawaii drives its economy through tourism. We are in the United States of America and you got major cities like New York, Miami, Los Angeles and such. It's competing for more tourists to come to Hawaii. I hate to say this but Hawaii versus Miami? You got people with money that spend at high end stores. People now look at Waikiki like you're shopping on Rodeo Drive. Well if this is what attracts tourists - so be it to help the economy. It is a shame that it has to be this way to survive in this economy. The workers in Waikiki have pride in their job and make an honest living in an expensive state. I do miss the old International Marketplace. It was nice seeing vendors sell things.
