I love tabouli and order it at every Mediterranean restaurant I go to, and this was the worst I ever had. The ingredients might have been off (either the ratio, or maybe something even went bad. It looked normal but tasted terrible). When we asked for cups of water (after spending upwards of $100) we were told they "don't do that" - because obviously they expect you to purchase bottled water. I find this to be unacceptable. Last but not least: we witnessed a cockroach crawling across the floor. One of the little German ones. Although not as scary as their larger, American counterparts, they still carry lots of germs that can make you sick, and when you see one you can assume there are many more close by. Would I be back? Hard pass. I'm sure I can find great hummus and chicken shawarma elsewhere.

The chicken shawarma (or chicken wrap) was perfection. Extremely juicy, the pita was nice and crispy, and the toum wasn't over powering at all. We ordered our food to go and it took a short 15 minutes to complete- big kudos to that since we ordered a good amount of food. Now for the food- wowza for flavor! Everything was fresh, bright, and not lacked depth. We got the mixed shawarma platter (I could bathe in that hummus and oil), falafel platter, a shawarma wrap, and the muhammara with cheese manoushe. I recommend every single item. Their sauces were all homemade and hot sauce had the perfect flavor to heat ratio. The wrap was crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. The falafel was seasoned perfectly and the mixed shawarma was very tasty. My only knock was that the shawarma could have crisped up more but that's not surprising given how busy they were. All in all a great spot that will leave your belly full and happy with plenty of leftovers!

I decided to stop in for a lunch to go and pleasantly pleased with the interior of the restaurant. I ordered a shish kebab pita with a side of garlic sauce which ran me about $12. While I waited, I saw that this place has everything from cigars and hookah which I feel like would be a nice late afternoon/early evening vibe. I did have to wait for a little under 20 minutes, however there were no customers there. I was expecting my food to be hot for the time I waited. However, it was not. The beef pieces were a bit chewy for my liking and were bland. I wish it had more seasoning or grill marks. The pita and veggies inside were fresh and the garlic sauce was the star of the show. The garlic sauce definitely elevates the pita. Based on the reviews, this place is pretty good but maybe I caught them on a bad day.
