I'm an active employee and have been for nearly 3 years now. I have great relationships with the staff and know them to all be great people who genuinely care about your dog. When it comes to safety k9 lifeline is the safest place to take your dog. We are trained in animal behavior and know what to do in any case of emergency. But not just safe we love your dog and take care of them like our own. My favorite thing we tell ourselves when we're together is the dogs come first. We tell it to our interviews so they know what our priorities are. So if you are looking for a home away from home for your dog, K9 lifeline is it.

They do a great job! My malamute loves to come and it's the only boarder I trust. Best grooming we've had too.

I have a timid, sometimes reactive and aggressive dog, who needed a lot of help with training. After an hour consultation with Makenzie, we decided to do three day & train sessions where my dog would go to their facility for a half day of training one on one with Makenzie, three at home 1:1 sessions in my dog's natural environment, and three hour long group classes. The amount that I learned in these 6 weeks was absolutely mind blowing. Training your dog is about practice and consistency, and speaking your dog's language, and Dogtown gave me the confidence and the knowledge to be able to train my dog on my own. The day & train opportunities were a wonderful way to start. Makenzie would train my dog 1:1 and then would send me videos about everything they worked on during their sessions. When I came to pick her up, Makenzie would show me what they worked on and how I could practice it at home. The training sessions in my own home were incredibly helpful as well. It gave me time to practice with my dog(s) in their natural environment and refreshers on what we had already learned, and building upon the skills she was learning. The group sessions were amazing for my dog, and any dog, to have an opportunity to practice in a new, overstimulating environment with other dogs that she doesn't know. Since she is apprehensive around other dogs, this was amazing practice for her. On top of everything else, the team is so friendly and kind, and the trainers are so knowledgable. I had the chance to take a group class with their trainer Maren and she was wonderful as well. Thank you to the team for teaching both me and my dog the skills to be better trained.

    - The best care, communication, and peace of mind for both dog and owner!…read more From the moment we did our first day "interview" at Camp Bow Wow Sandy, I've been beyond impressed. The process was smooth and professional, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the app and texts makes everything so easy to manage. I even got the cutest "Welcome to Camp" photo when my pup was accepted -- such a thoughtful touch! My dog has been having a great time at daycare, and it's given me real peace of mind knowing she's happy and well cared for. Now that she's also boarding overnight for the first time, I'm not the least bit worried -- I know she's in good hands. The ability to check in on her through the live cameras during the day is a total bonus, and the team goes above and beyond with their adorable enrichment activities (complete with photos of your pup enjoying them). They even helped me one evening when I found a lost dog on my way to drop mine off -- scanning the dog for a microchip without hesitation. That kind of compassion says everything about who they are. And I can't forget to mention the great grooming services -- Missy always comes home from her baths there looking and smelling amazing! I'm genuinely so happy to have found Camp Bow Wow Sandy. They've made life easier, my dog happier, and me completely confident in her care. Highly recommend to any pet parent!

They only schedule skeleton crews, so if some one calls out or goes home sick, every thing gets fucked for the day. There is kind of a clique dynamic, and if you're not part of it you get treated pretty shitty. The office manager will nit pick, and tear apart everything you do. I had her yell at me for doing something a supervisor told me to do, and she reiterated the "issue" in 6 different ways before she finally walked away. I'm not the only one she's made cry. The no drama policy basically means they can fire you if you vent to coworkers. I had a supervisor who quit, and confirmed the manager had it out for me. This former supervisor also messaged me to get out asap, would send me job listing, and regularly message me to see how the job hunt was going. If that doesn't tell you something about the work environment, idk what will

Merry Pets saved the day . . . they saved my dog!…read more While out of town, I was notified by a passerby to my video doorbell that my dog was out at large. I immediately texted Merry Pets, and got a call back a couple of minutes later. One of their canine professionals was not too far from my house, and went to assess the situation. He searched the nearby streets and located my dog and returned her to my house and ensured she was secure. Merry Pets ensured the safety and well being of my dog. This could have ended very differently, as I live nearby to two busy streets.

I started noticing he would growl when I touched him, which was very out of character. At first, I didn't think much of it, but as it worsened, I examined him more closely and was shocked to discover scabbed areas under both of his front legs, resembling severe rugburn. After another hike, I checked him immediately upon return and found his front legs raw and bleeding in multiple spots, with his fur matted in tight knots. I took him to urgent care, and the veterinarian confirmed the wounds were fresh trauma. My dog is 8 years old and very active, but because he's never been off leash before, I had specifically requested that he be kept leashed on hikes. The other dogs were off-leash, and I worry that while trying to keep up with the group, the handler, Caitlin, may have dragged him when he couldn't keep pace. I reached out to Mary for an explanation but received no clear response or indication of concern for my dog's condition. I asked Mary if she would cover the vet bill. Instead, she said she wanted to speak directly with my vet. When I brought that request to my vet, they informed me that she did not have a right to access my pet's medical information due to HIPAA laws. Despite everything, I was kind enough to let the situation go--but I refused to pay the bill for the hike where my dog was injured. Now Mary is charging my account anyway. A good business owner would have shown concern and at the very least offered an apology. Instead, she has shown no empathy and no accountability. This experience was incredibly distressing. I cannot recommend Merrypets based on what happened and how poorly it was handled. My dog has had no more injuries since he stopped going out with Merry Pets. He's happy again and no longer growls at me.

Your dog is treated as family while in our home. I send lots of pictures so you can see how happy your dog is so you never have to worry. I absolutely love my career working with dogs. The dogs run and play outside, we have two hours of quiet time in the middle of the day for some rest. With doggy swimming pools, large sand box, tetherball, tug of war ropes, three toy subscriptions delivered monthly, room to run, slides, tunnels, ball pits, on hot days we play in the sprinklers, puzzle games for the dogs when we are stuck inside, we’ve done crafts and the kids love to play fetch with the dogs! I've tried to make this doggy heaven! With the yard fully fenced twice and double gates at doors we take precautions no dogs slip out. We are able to separate dogs inside and out if any of the dogs don’t get along. We have a doggy door so they can go out any time needed, running water trough so we always have water available. We have several kennels, bowls, beds, and toys so all you need to bring is dog food. Poop is picked up daily and kennels/bowls are sanitized between dogs. I am out with the dogs during all business hours and dogs are in kennels when not supervised for safety. I have several cameras on the dogs at all times as well. We’ve covered our bases to keep your dog safe!
