This rating is long over due, if you are looking for a birthday celebration venue this is place is it! Do not be fooled by these low ratings. We had a great experience celebrating our 10 year old's birthday here this past February, 2026. From just booking our party to the day of Amy was AMAZING! She and her team made sure that our party room was ready to go the minute we arrived , check-in of all guests was smooth. The party rooms are so clean and spacious with a racing theme. We didn't need to bring in any additional decorations. Food was great and during the 30 minute break between the first and last race the boys all enjoyed the arcade which Amy recommended. Everything went smoothly until my grandson's last "birthday race". We waited over an hour to be put in the race. I had to go to the cashier twice and wait through the line which is not quick. I bought him 6 races and spent 280.00 bucks for him and his friend. He got one free race because his car malfunctioned, so two more races for him. I asked if they could give his friend the extra race, oh no, it's set in stone we can't change it. Even though I heard a parent give his kid a race he didn't want. We drove 3 hours to get here and the kids had fun but I don't appreciate being kept waiting and the nonsense of not being allowed to transfer a race. read more

k1 speed is a fun place overall. the track is cool, the karts are fast, and everything feels nice and well kept. the only thing that kinda ruins it is mixing kids and adults in the same races, plus some adults acting like they're chasing their f1 dreams and getting upset over every little thing. still, it's a solid spot and worth going to if you wanna do some fast indoor karting. read more

This place is a great concept and overall we had a good time. However, there were a couple minor things that do kind of impact the experience; firstly there is an extra requirement of a "license fee" it's just under $8 but that should just be included in the price (so basically just count on adding that), it just feels like a random money grab. Secondly, unless you have a full group (nine people) you will be mixed with other racers; initially this isn't a problem but in our case we happen to have been grouped with 3 drivers who thought they were being scouted for NASCAR, that sucked the fun out of it. They crashed into all of us multiple times, I got pinned into the wall by them on two occasions and for my husband's twin 15 year old brothers it actually caused them to slow down and just leisurely drive the track. There was a couple in our group as well who seemingly decided like us that it was just better to drive slower and let these guys live out their racing dreams. The track staff did warn them several times with the yellow flag but they never stopped. My recommendation would be to group racers by experience level or leisure level. Other than that, the facility is pretty nice with lots of seating options while you wait, a decent snack bar, and an arcade. read more

recently visited the shop and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I attempted to use their card machine to play , but after inserting my money, I received nothing. The equipment was clearly malfunctioning, and it was frustrating to not be able to participate in the activity that I had paid for. The lack of customer service at the shop was also disappointing. Despite my attempts to bring the malfunctioning equipment to their attention, the staff seemed indifferent to my problem and made no attempt to rectify the situation for more than 2 weeks and more than 10 phone calls The overall experience left me feeling cheated and frustrated. It's clear that the shop has no regard for customer satisfaction, and their lack of maintenance and upkeep of their equipment is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this go kart shop to anyone looking for a fun and reliable go karting experience. Save your time and money and go somewhere else where your enjoyment is valued. read more

Extremely expensive. Informed the front desk we wanted to purchase the membership deal for $64.95 a person. They informed us it would be an hour wait to race because it was super busy. Not a problem at all. We get called for our first race and my friend and I get stuck behind some young kids on the adult carts side(They have Jr races for kids and regular races for adults). The young kids weren't following the flag rules letting people pass and going 3 wide in every corner so I didn't have an opening to pass and didn't want to push a bunch of young kids passed what they were able to do so I hung back. One guy on the track decided that he was so cool and kept going as fast as he could and cutting the kids off or pushing them into barriers to try to get a faster time. Again I get it, it sucks that the kids were stopping us from going fast but no reason to put them in danger especially as he got the no bumping sign every 30 seconds and was getting yelled at. 4 laps in all our carts stop completely and flash as if there's an emergency. I can see a helmet to my right fly off and bounce around on the track as "speed guy" had decided that he was going to try to pass this young girl on the inside of the corner that she had already begun executing and had full right of the corner slamming into her and pushing her into the wall causing her helmet to fly off. They do a safety check before hand to make sure that doesn't happen so not sure how the helmet came off. The young kid had to stop racing and the guy who intentionally hit her just kept going around the track no ejection or anything other than a 15th "No bumping" sign. Both my friend and I were mad and honestly aren't sure about coming back. Also the first cart I had the tires were completely cooked so no matter what I did I slid as well as the carts not having any form of power steering which is crazy for the tight corners and reality that the carts can hit 40MPH+ Also as others have mentioned you have to get a membership and a 2 person membership deal with a shirt,hat, or necklace ended up being $140 for 2 races which is absolutely nuts. A single race that's 13 laps is $25. Overpriced, the only good thing was the staff at the front being nice. Should've ejected the guy for being reckless and continuously not following the rules. read more

After waiting for two groups and one single child (child had the track all to himself) to have their race, my family and I unfortunately got grouped with a group of men who were clearly more advanced with go carts than us. They ended up finishing their 12 laps way before us so we didn't get the full time. I get it's a race but for the price you pay it seems unfair that you're at the mercy of other groups if you're less experienced with the go carts. To make things worse, the groups before us were not forced to be grouped with others. The workers randomly decided we were the ones to throw into a larger group to fill all the spots (prior groups did not have enough people to fill the track). Save your time and money. read more

want to give the place 6 stars! had my son's 8th birthday here last weekend and we just had an INCREDIBLE time! Pizza was great, kids had an absolute blast (not just in the cars but on all of the awesome arcade games too!) adults loved the drinks and massage chairs, staff was OUTSTANDING- every staff member was accommodating, helpful and had the best attitudes. Whoever worked food counter on 3-15 afternoon was my favorite. When employees exude such positivity like they're so happy to be at "work" - it makes for such a pleasant experience. We were lucky enough to have the owners onsite halfway through our party and THEY are the cutest, kindest, happiest most helpful people- easy to see where their employees get it from! We were truly treated like royalty even though all of our little kids were running amok. My son (the bday boy) had an issue with his car after bumping the wall (first time driver!) and I was worried staff would be upset- instead they apologized to him! And owners awarded him a bday medal for being a good sport about it. So the one "negative" was quickly turned into an even bigger positive - cannot say enough good things about the K1 team and the experience they gave us. I understand people that pay for the event pay a lot of money but it doesn't mean they should be able to just and go and go multiple times in a row before people who only paid for one race or 2 to be able to go I feel it isn't fair because they can race all they want some people can't afford that and should be aloud to at least get there race in after the party people go twice or after each party let people who aren't in a party go that way everyone gets what they pay so everyone is happy I feel making those other people have to wait even longer then then expected wait time and keep pushing it back just because there is a party is unfair read more

First off the pricing is crazy for one race. Even looking passed that for the price we should've got the same experience as everyone it was my first time as well. When the race started they didn't line us up nor did they tell us the race was starting. A group of teens were going around the track and hitting everyone just to be first even though bumping wasn't allowed the workers did nothing to stop them but warned me after I accidentally hit a wall over all won't return. I really enjoyed riding the go karts. The carts are much much faster than the go karts offered by the previous MB2 Raceway. The graph displaying your average times makes it easy and very interactive. The customer service was also great and everyone there was super nice. Lastly when we went there wasn't too many people and we were able to race pretty quickly. read more

New place but still a rip off. Some of the carts are broken and rattle while going 10 mph slower. Then they turn down 45mph carts to 15mph after the first lap so everyone gets a trophy. Still run by high school kids. Waaaaay too expensive for black beard level go carts. read more
