This is my first every Yelp Review and here's why…read more Orlando at Simple Mobile was a total professionional and repaired my water damaged Samsung S20 Fe 5G phone quickly and at a reasonable price. He listened to me and all of my concerns and explained what he would do and even showed me the factory Samsung display screen he would use to replace my old one if needed. He connected my phone to a special charger he had that showed that the phone was charging even though we didnt' see or hear anything. I dropped my phone in 5 ft of water for about 30 seconds. After 3 days of trying various methods to dry it and trying every combination of button pressing and restarting the screen was just black. Sometimes I'd hear a blip and a short vibration. So I started calling around West LA for quotes. The prices I was getting, I could just use the money to buy a used phone of Ebay or Swappa. I yelped my request and decided to give Simple Mobile a try. Orlando gave me a reasonable quote, better than all the other repair shops. He also said he had a factory Samsung display screen if needed and that they offered a 30 warranty on the part. No one else offered this. The shop is in a very dense part of town, a little past Koreatown across from MacArthur park. There's a parking lot next to the shop. Just tell the security guard you're going to Simple mobile. I had my concerns but don't judge a book by it's cover. The drive was worth it. Orlando called an hour after I dropped off the phone and said the old display was fried. He installed the new one and it was working fine. It even had the plastic wrapper on the screen. I tested the phone and saw all of my texts and pics. The finger print scanner wasn' really working, but it never worked that well to begin with. I added a third scan of my thumb and the scanner's been working better than before. Orlando at Simple mobile will be my repairman if I ever need help again. They also repair tablets. Thank you Orlando and Simple Mobile. You saved the day.

I WASNT!!! After that comment I made him stop the transaction and left because I will not be made to feel like I'm trying to steal or be talked down to by someone I'm gonna spend money with. I genuinely don't understand what the big deal was if I unplugged it because it was just a charger and the display phones are connected so it's not even like you can take them off even though I was not trying to. Honestly, this behavior was disgusting and I'll never come back to this T-Mobile store unless both of these associates no longer work there.

A friendly and knowledgeable staff can make a significant difference by providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly. Going the extra mile, such as following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction, can leave a lasting impression. Ultimately, great customer service builds trust and loyalty, encouraging customers to return and recommend the business to others. All of which I didn't receive from the manager, Jorge. I called another T-Mobile store and provided them with the same information I gave him, and they were kind enough to offer alternatives and explained possible outcomes. The younger staff has always been friendlier. I guess it's a generational thing--maybe they come with a built-in 'nice' app or something, idk.

I've been with T-Mobile for over a decade and have lived in multiple locations like Manhattan, Los…read moreAngeles, and Minnesota, but this was by far one of the worst experiences. I waited in line for about 30 minutes while three reps were assisting other customers. Not one of them acknowledged me, not even a simple "we'll be with you shortly." That alone set the tone. While waiting, I ended up troubleshooting the issue myself. It turns out my older second phone had lost service due to needing a software update. All I needed was Wi-Fi access to fix it. When I asked to briefly connect, I was denied even though that was the only solution. The bigger issue here is the lack of urgency and awareness. There was no sense of pace, no communication, and no effort to help even minimally. A simple acknowledgment or allowing quick Wi-Fi access could have solved everything in minutes. Instead, I left without help and had to pay $6 for parking for nothing. This location seriously needs to improve customer service, communication, and efficiency. I don't appreciate slow ppl. Lol
