I've been with T-Mobile for over a decade and have lived in multiple locations like Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Minnesota, but this was by far one of the worst experiences. I waited in line for about 30 minutes while three reps were assisting other customers. Not one of them acknowledged me, not even a simple "we'll be with you shortly." That alone set the tone. While waiting, I ended up troubleshooting the issue myself. It turns out my older second phone had lost service due to needing a software update. All I needed was Wi-Fi access to fix it. When I asked to briefly connect, I was denied even though that was the only solution. The bigger issue here is the lack of urgency and awareness. There was no sense of pace, no communication, and no effort to help even minimally. A simple acknowledgment or allowing quick Wi-Fi access could have solved everything in minutes. Instead, I left without help and had to pay $6 for parking for nothing. This location seriously needs to improve customer service, communication, and efficiency. I don't appreciate slow ppl. Terrible customer service experience. I was assisted by an agent named Douglas Muñoz, and it was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. His attitude was extremely arrogant and dismissive, with absolutely zero focus on helping the customer. I understand that there are policies and protocols that need to be followed, but that does not justify treating people with arrogance or lack of respect. Customer service requires patience, empathy, and professionalism--none of which were shown during this interaction. Instead of helping me resolve it, they kept telling me to contact the service myself, which wasted a lot of my time. The staff entered the information incorrectly, and rather than assisting me, they irresponsibly told me they couldn't help and that I should contact the service center to fix it. Horrible customer service !!! MONIKA, MANAGER, she is just horrible. Daniel, a sales associate is lack of professionalism, and he is unmotivated and unknowledgeable for his customers. I went upgrading my phone, instead ended up paying my bill with two transactions with fees - Of course, it is NOT DUE day YET, It should be one transaction, but they charged differently. I had to pay $5 each transaction. Which is so messed up situation. Beginning, Daniel said I have $1,000 credit for trade-in my phone and get a new Samsung Galaxy 24. A few minutes later, he said I had to put down $250 deposit to get a new phone, plus I have to pay my due balance. Which is NOT TRUE. BECAUSE I called customer service, representative on the phone, she said I don't need to pay my balance. It's a words game!!!!! He is confused by himself. Monika, condescending and bad manner! If you are in retail, you know at least customer service. She is unfit for being a manager. I had asked a few things, WHY do I have to put down the deposit to get a new phone. Then she rolled her eyes with a condescending voice she said What is the problem?!" I was about to change and upgrade my phone, but both Monika and Daniel killed my vibe. Brian and the Manager Monika in this store are awesome!! I upgraded my phone and brought it in to activate it and transfer my data. Brian was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure my new phone copied exactly what my other phone had - which was a lot of apps and pictures. Monika was very helpful and has excellent customer skills. I recommend this T Mobile store for all your phone needs. I went to another T-Mobile in Mid-city (La cienega and Pico) with my friend awhile back and they screwed up her phone and lost all her data when she upgraded her phone. This is a review of the singular tall young male Hispanic representative at the 3183 Wilshire Blvd, Ste 183, Los Angeles, CA 90010 T-Mobile location. After waiting more than 40 mins with a 10 month child in tote for what should have been a 15 min transactions this is what happened to me. This representative falsely charged me a extra $35 for a phone so he could make commission. I asked if buying the phone in store would have a upcharge if he assisted me and he blatantly lied and said no. I asked him several times for clarification insisting I could head home if it was cheaper to do it online. He assured me it would be the same price. When he rung up the phone and it more than expected I again asked if there was service surcharge and he lied saying no to my face. He said sometimes the phones are more than advertised on T Mobile.com due to taxes. He said the extra $35 was for taxes. I who needed a new affordable phone asap in case of emergency took funds from my rent to make the purchase since this was an emergency. I think it is very unfair for this jerk to make commission for dishonesty. I asked him to be truthful and he blatantly lied. Whilst he was suppose to focusing on me he was fully distracted just shooting the breeze, gave zero eye contact, negative customer service and seem completely disinterested since I knew what I wanted and would not talked up to some ridiculous upgrade. I felt targeted for this scam as the only black POC in the store and because I was dressed down he must have assumed I would take this type of financial thievery. I have been TMobile Custumer for over 8 years and I had never had complaint with a store like this one. If you want to get A LOT of attitude from employees, then go to this place. We went to change the screen protector of my new phone, and a guy name Julio treated us really bad! Since the beginning he had a lot of attitude. We told him that I came to the same store earlier but they put a wrong size screen protector. After explaining that my insurance cover for that, he took my phone with a bad mood to change it but put the same size protector that still did not fit. The only nice person there was a guy name Chris, he was very helpful. Companies like TMobile should invest more money in training for customer service for employees like him. Customer service on the tmobile line wanted me to resolve the issue in a store since they said they couldn't do anything on their end. The problem with my account was a bit complicated and yet Carla M. Was able to help me resolve this issue from start to finish. She asked me about my situation and got on the phone and advocated for a solution. She was very nice and explained every step of what we were doing. Even though the process took 30 minutes, she did not make me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She truly cared about my situation. Came to this T-Mobile store to switch a sprint number to my T-Mobile account. Was told they couldn't do it, I had to call 611 for a T-Mobile rep to do the change of ownership. Called 611 was informed that they couldn't do that for me since the store has to do the process of merging the sprint account number to my T-Mobile account. When the two employees at this store told me they couldn't do it the day before. The 611 Rep even apologized about the situation, said the employees aren't properly trained. There's wasn't a problem for a sprint number to go to a T-Mobile account. This store is supposed to help sprint and T-Mobile customers. At the end of the day I couldn't fix my problem since now I have to go another store. read more

I have been a tmo customer for about ten years now and have always been happy about tmos customer service over the phone. Actual store locations, however, I had mixed experiences. I intentionally avoided going to physical stores because I didn't want to deal with the associates in the locations. Today I has to actually go into a store because I was adding a line to my account for my friend... Because I had a bad experience at a local location in the past, my friend and I drove past it to go to another location. We figured its better to experience another store rather than going to a location with a proven bad record. The experience at this location was far superior than all other locations I have been yo in the last ten years as soon as we walked in. An associate named james greeted us and asked what we needed and kindly asked to wait after giving us a reasonable wait expectation. Soon after waiting, james escorted and introduced us personally to cesar. Cesar took his time to help us and answer all of our questions. He even took his own phone out to let us try his new iPhone 6 plus and convinced us to buy one as well. While cesar made appropriate recommendations for service plans and other accessory products, he was not pushy and respected our decisions. Overall, I think this is one of the best to locations around Los Angeles and would recommend anyone who needs help with their account to stop by here. Dropped BIG $$$$$ at various locations buying and upgrading phones when needed. Never an issue till i came to this location. I came around 6:30 and it was over 100 degrees in the store. All the employees were sweating buckets and i was told the building shuts off the A/C after a certain time. I was just there to pay my bill and saw a special offer for the LG G6 and free LG tablet. Well i went for the deal. The LG G6 are great phones and 2 phones for $500 was a great deal. Then i'm told i have to be charged for a SIM Kit even thought the phones are shipped with brand new SIM cards inside. $25 extra per phone which i have never had to pay at a corporate store (shady 1) It's soo hottt inside and i'm trying to get tfo because the computers were taking forever. Then the worker "rain" tells me the system is asking for a deposit. I said wtf?, i've never had to pay for a deposit and i've had over 15 lines in the past without any issues. The supervisor finally makes a call and said it was a mistake, wth led to that mistake?. Anyways, he briefly shows me the LG tablet and i ask if this is the MOST CURRENT model out. He says yes. Well in the morning i am reading the news and an article shows up showing the updated version just introduced by tmobile 4 days ago wtf???? So i call the store and ask for the manager, had to call 10+ times till GENE came on the phone. Right off the bat she is rude. I ask if i could simply come in and exchange the tablet for the newer model. She says its going to cost me $75 as a restocking fee. I say I've been a long time customer and i haven't even opened the box, Rain opened it to activate it i guess and it's still in the bag in my car. She says she will make a call and call me back. That was the 2nd of September and today is the 21st. No call back and she avoids my calls. I don't have time to visit the store and i know if i will see her i will probably get into a debate with her and probably i will be tempted to smash the counters and everything i see if things aren't put right so i have come to terms with the fact that this tmobile location has screwed me over and GENE is the worst manager i have come across. My offices are in the Equitable building on Wilshire and i run a very successful business employing over 400 worldwide. I was having a bad week. Got an accident broken hand, sprained knee, and cracked iPhone. The wait was a bit long (due to lots of customers) but once it was my turn Carlos was AMAZING! I think he could tell i was struggling (i was standing the whole wait) so first thing he got me was a seat. Whew! THANK YOU! He then got me the exact phone I wanted (iPhone 13pro in Gold 256 GB) and got me a new case, Charger, screen protector, pop socket-and due to me not being capable of putting any of these items on myself-due to my broken hand. He did it all for me and synced my phones. When I walked out I felt a LOT BETTER, than when I walked IN. Such a bad week turned around by great customer service and a smile! Love my new phone & everything I got with it.
