Note: Review is for Venice Blvd location…read more My wife's phone was smashed by a would-be robber (scary!), and this place had the most/best reviews, so I thought why not give it a shot? Price was from their website - iPhone 6Plus OEM for $100, and included the screen protector, which they put on. I don't like putting them on myself, anyway. The screen actually fixed an existing problem of my wife's phone, so it's better than it was before. The whole process took about 45 minutes, only due to 3 customers being in front of us. $100. No tax. Really easy and convenient for a screen replacement. The main guy (sorry, I don't recall his name) was really smooth, and it seemed he was hitting on a female customer in front of me and my wife. Maybe they have history and know each other, but it was a bit strange. The only con is that the neighborhood isn't the greatest, and they basically are a cash business, with only a corner store ATM available nearby. If you need your phone repaired, and done well, I DO recommend this place.

Suzie Q's Fun Facts:…read more The word "rude" dates back to approximately 1280 A.D. from a Latin word meaning "rough, crude, unlearned." The word didn't come to mean "ill-mannered" until the late 14th century. =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ I've got to wonder how a business still exists, in the competitive landscape that is the greater Los Angeles area, when the employees are shockingly, unnecessarily rude to its customers (or in my case, potential customers). I was looking for an iPad screen repair shop, having just dropped and shattered my iPad 3 that I use professionally, on-stage, to read lyrics (I'm a singer). I stumbled upon this shop's website, which I found to be a bit confusing. One price ($50) was for "glass and digitizer screen repair" (for an iPad 2, 3 or 4), but another price was for "LCD screen repair" ($90). So I called the shop, expecting the owner to simply explain to me the difference between the two services, and to help me figure out which service I needed. Instead, the guy - who answered the phone in a bored, irritable tone of voice (despite the store having only just opened five minutes before) - impatiently tried to tell me that the service I wanted was actually $70. Note: You can see from the screen shot, below, that there is not a single $70 service listed under "iPad 2 3 4 Repair Pricing." When I questioned whether the website was up to date, which obviously it's not, he kept trying to get me to come in to the store so that it could be sorted out.... versus just looking at his own website, and clarifying the issue for me over the phone. When I responded - quite reasonably, in my mind - that I didn't feel comfortable deferring the issue until I walked into the store, suddenly the conversation took a bizarre and offensive turn: The guy said, "Well, clearly you can't read, sorry about that." At which point, shocked and offended, I hung up on him. But oh, this guy wasn't done yet. Moments later, I received a text message from him, again insulting me ("I'm so sorry u can't read"). I've included a screen shot from my phone, below. If this review isn't enough to send you FLEEING in the other direction from this store, I'm not sure what is.

Amir is a star. He was able to correctly identify and fix an issue that Verizon's customer service…read moreand other store could not navigate. His knowledge is stellar, customer service is exceptional, and his ability to problem-solve is commendable. While the parking lot is certainly uniquely designed, this Verizon store is worth the visit when you're in need.

This is a 3rd party Verizon and does not have the same abilities as their corporate stores. Reina…read moresent me and another customer to the corporate store on Wilshire saying it was open extended holiday hours until 8 pm instead of 6 pm. She said her store was open until 9 pm instead of 8 pm for extended holiday hours. She said all Verizon corporate and 3rd party stores have these extended holiday hours, listed above. The corporate store was locked after I drove there though so I wasted another trip then had to circle back. This was after I had already wasted an hour calling her store and other Verizon stores, which never answered. She had said, before sending us on the goose chase, none ever answers phones. She then contradicted herself numerous times. Then she locked me out of my account access in the store. Not once did she ever understand my phone didn't work in light of a damaged screen and what this involves, or that I had paired it with another device that sometimes can have a delay before showing texts since it isn't on my Verizon plan. Instead she insisted the insurance had only 3 repair shops in LA County, each through heavy traffic routes over about a handful of miles away, knowing she caused me unnecessarily to have to take extensive time off work again and do so again. Even after I said the much nearer approximate area had seen it is in, she insisted it wasn't there though this is the one the insurance eventually suggested. She then contradicted herself again. She said the store closed at 8 p.m. She said I had to leave as I made a quick call to ask advice so I could ask her a quick question based on it, as the store remained open and another customer stayed another 25 minutes or so. I had to stand on the street so I could not hear, as I had to stand near enough the store right by the street to do this on wifi data. I knocked on the glass door about over a half hour before she said it closed at 9 pm to ask this quick question after, though she ignored it. As I held up 9 fingers about the 9 pm hour not having come, she repeatedly held up a cell phone seeming to take pictures of me showing her statement it closed at 9 pm was dishonest. However, I did not consent and request she and Verizon erase these. To the customers that eavesdropped and laughed, not knowing still or ever almost the entirety of the situation, some day they are going to be in the situation and are going to laugh at themselves, though entirely not how they think or did today. It is not that I hope this. It is inevitable.
