They showed up on the dot when they said that they would, worked efficiently, and minimized the disruption of our lives. They covered everything with plastic so there was very little dust from the sanding of the floors. They cleaned up after the sanding, wiping everything down and vacuuming. Sometimes we want to ask questions but finding an employee was difficult, and other times we just want to be left alone to look around. This place offered both, along with many selections of different types of flooring. Yes, it is a warehouse inside so some things seemed jumbled around. But, the salesperson (Paul) was extremely helpful in explaining to us some of the options available and differences in product lines. We haven't bought anything yet (and they work on commission) but he seemed happy to just help us out whether we made a purchase or not. Once we know for sure what we want, we likely will be coming back here.

When it was obvious that the old flooring couldn't be salvaged, he found replacement wood that matched the original. He carefully measured and added material to level the floor, then installed beautiful new flooring. We also asked him to refinish the table. Our first flooring delivery came in a different shade than expected from the manufacturer's sample, and the Albany Carpet Warehouse handled everything. We went with a different floor, and everything was smooth, including the installation. A fast, friendly, and hard-working team not only installed the floor, they solved a (rather large) leveling problem in our current floor, and fixed a few air leakage and water problems.
