I called Jeff on a Monday he sent his Forman (Roger) to meet me at our townhouse in Crosspointe on…read moreTuesday for a walkthrough and chat about expectations, colors, and cost for the complete inside. Roger was a great asset, he had recommended a nice off white color and discussed their process, to include all holes filled, walls prepped and primer, the works. We agreed and they came on Saturday on time, as scheduled (a few minutes early) and immediately got started. We came by later in the afternoon and they (Roger and Eddie) were well underway, excellent. We were called about 3pm on Sunday all completed! Perfect color, perfect job top to bottom, they moved the washer and dryer out and put everything back the way it was, actually they even checked out the hoses and such. The bottom line after all said and done? The polite, prompt, and accurate customer service, the professionalism, and the quality of work, the fact they took extra steps not even within the scope, you could only dream of ALL other contractors would give the same. To Jeff, Roger, and Eddie, thank you very much. Awesomeness all around, (thank you as well Tricia for the prompt correspondence).

I needed to have my house painted after years of neglect had left the exterior finish peeling and…read moreflaking off and looking generally horrible. I was also under time constraints to get the job done quickly to qualify for my new homeowner's insurance policy. Roger came out and did a thorough inspection of the home and explained how the process would go and answered all of my questions about points of concern I had around the house, and made me feel very comfortable with the project. Tricia and Jeff were able to answer any additional queries I had by phone or email in a timely manner. Luckily, due to my need to have the job done asap, Jeff said he'd be able to fit me in just a month later. There was a slight delay to starting the job at my house due to weather, but Tricia kept me up to date along the way and it wasn't long before Roger and his crew were showing up to get the job underway. Roger and his paint crew were on site early every day, and worked tirelessly from 7:00-3:00 nonstop for 7 days. I left drinks for them in a cooler but I really don't know if these guys took a break, they just busted butt all day long. On the first day they pressure washed the whole house to remove dirt and debris. Over the course of the next four days they slaved away getting the home ready for a new finish. The amount of prep work my house needed was overwhelming and they cut no corners in removing the old tired paint and doing minor repairs to weather damaged surfaces here and there until they had a bare smooth canvas to work with. After the whole house was primed it took another two days to lay two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration down on the whole house and finish the trim work, and the end result is nothing short of amazing. My nearly 50 year old home looks brand new. The amount of pride Roger and his crew take in their work showed through in the finished product and its perfection all around. They always showed up early and worked right til the end, and left every day having cleaned up and put things away. They were always happy and friendly. Before the job was completed Roger made sure I was perfectly happy with everything and that they left me 100% satisfied. I can say with certainty that hiring Platinum Painting Service for this project was money well spent, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to have someone repaint their home.

I've had a vision for this place since we moved here and B Construction was able to bring it to life! Overall I would rate them a 10/10 with a few little hick-ups here and there. First and foremost, the light oak flooring installment looks and feels amazing! Though they didn't rip out the old flooring they were able to seamlessly level our floors. Secondly, the kitchen cabinets turned out elegantly & when they installed the ceiling light, it was the icing on the cake. So beautiful! Moving on to the bathroom, the walk in-shower turned out like out of a magazine. Brian's guys precisely chose every tile to match the wave designs, tile after tile. Love it! In the bathroom they also installed our new vanity, mirror and a few miscellaneous items that were added last minute, no questions asked We also asked his crew to paint the walls & sand down our wood ceiling which both turned out great! They also switch out all our electrical outlets (which means they have a guy that specializes in electrical & plumbing for the bathroom - a huge plus!!!). Lastly, we added two ceiling fans, one in the living room and another in bedroom, which all our neighbors love and get a bunch of comments on! His guys were all super friendly and when I asked them to change something I didn't like, they weren't hesitant to change it right away. With that being said, there were a few hick ups during the renovation. Brian had a couple of projects that his crew were working on at the same as mine which means there was constant confusion for him. When he asked about measurements for our new microwave, he ended up buying another one later on because he thought we were in need of one, which was never the case. My full length mirror was also lost in the process because he thought he thought I said it was rubbish. Lastly, there were some moments when I would text Brian and hear back from him a few days later. Not a convenient way to communicate when on a time crunch. I would also like to add that although problems did arises, they were solved and the outcome was still a masterpiece. I will 100% hire these guys again in the future & now I tell all my friends about them!

We couldn't be happier with B Construction, and have already booked them for another project in the near future! They are super busy because they earned and enjoy a great reputation. Diamond Head Construction handled a full renovation of our 1959 home, and they were great to work…read morewith from start to finish. This is a really belated review; we actually started working with them nearly two years ago. The project took several months to complete. I did the demolition myself and brought in my own plumber and electrician, but Wen, Xiao, and the rest of their crew handled everything else: a full kitchen, two complete bathrooms, all fixture installs, drywall, insulation (including the attic), paint, trim, new doors, ... plus more that I've likely forgotten. Basically the whole house, down to the kitchen sink. Wen was extremely helpful and full of great ideas in the planning phase. He worked with us through several rounds of different options, layouts, etc. He took us on a show-and-tell shopping trip to Home Depot to get ideas about many of the available choices, guided us through choosing kitchen cabinetry, helped us pick out shower pan design/style, etc. Xiao was great at handling all carpentry work as well as the tile, cabinetry, bathroom/kitchen detail work, etc. He had great insight into how we could take out a couple of small non-structural stub walls to make our living room feel bigger. He and his assistants worked very diligently and we really appreciate his effort. Communication was easy throughout the project. Wen responded very quickly to all messages, even my dumb questions. He also entertained my bad ideas and then gave me more reasonable alternatives. Really appreciated his calm and levelheaded approach to everything. On top of all this, the cost was very reasonable and comprehensive--we didn't have to do a lot of messing around with change orders. Other than some materials we agreed to supply at the outset, they built everything needed into their initial quote. They did not consider the project complete until we were happy with every last detail. The work was done well, and we highly recommend Diamond Head Construction for anyone tackling anything from a small project up to a full renovation. We have some more projects that we need help with and I'm sure we'll be relying on them again soon.
