This Mango Cheesy Golden Cake is EVERYTHING So soft and fluffy like a sponge cake, with creamy cheesy goodness and fresh mangoes that blend perfectly together, not too sweet, just PERFECT! And the vibe??? Obsessed. The big windows bring in the prettiest natural light (hello photo ops ), and the whole place feels clean, cozy and super inviting. Love love love the mochi cubes. My favorite is taro ube followed by matcha. These should be eaten fresh or within 2 days otherwise they'd dry out. Inside the bread is mochi with flavored filling. I've not seen this elsewhere. The mochi bowl is also another first for me. Surprisingly the combo of soft gooey mochi and the sweet and savory sauce with the nori paper makes a perfect balance. In the morning, there's only 1 person working the counter and making all the drinks - so wait for your orders. The place itself is very nicely decorated. Very relaxing. read more

I've been wanting to try Kori for a long time. I finally went today and really enjoyed it! I'll definitely be back to try some other things. Today I got the Dark Brown Thai Milk Tea ("New Way" with dark brown sugar cold foam and a Biscoff cookie) and the Chocolate Strawberry Mochi Cube. I actually wanted the Biscoff Butter Mochi Cube, but it was out of stock. I enjoyed the drink, but I think the dark brown sugar cold foam was more of a fun novelty and not something I would probably order again. I do wish they had taro flavored milk teas, which is my favorite flavor but seems to have been recently removed from the menu! The mochi cube was delicious, though difficult to eat. They provide a disposable spork, which works well for shaved ice but had a hard time slicing through the warmed mochi cube. Undeterred, I picked up the cube with the paper and ate it that way--not sure if this is the correct move but I was determined. It was very tasty, but probably could have been shared!! I'm excited to try some of the other items, like the cookies and coffee. This is such a unique spot and I love having it in my neighborhood! read more

We've had our fair share of tasty sweets in Orlando, but I was not prepared for how absolutely delicious these two items are! The warmed bread and the I've cookie were exquisite, just dessert perfection. The cashier assured us that we didn't have to worry about the allergens on our list, and recommended warming the bread - SO GOOD! i went here w/ my mama friend today for a pre-play date & it was absolutely exquisite !! the inside was so cute, so spacious. & our boy toddlers were having a blast on the squishy chairs & eye-ing all the cute decor. we loved the gal who took our order as she answered any & all questions that we had AS we were wrangling our fiesty sons the inside seating was truly so chic, & so much space to sit !! the shaved ice was SO delicious - i had the signature strawberry w/ added mango elements, they are not shy at all on the amount is portions & extra side ingredients !! & my friend loved her matcha as well. all of the jellies, the mochis were oh so squishy & melted on your tongue. i got the savory mochi bread, w/ spam to go & the cheese melted in my mouth even as we took it to a nearby park to eat & the spam portion was perfect. i can't give them enough praise !! one above & beyond thing i want to mention is that they reached out via ig & asked how my experience was after i shared it on my story & asked me what else they could improve on - that is top quality service in my opinion. although their food spoke for itself, it seems like they are always looking for ways to improve. way to go KŌRI - looks like i've found my shaved ice home base !! read more

I was very excited to visit this place, they have so many matcha things on their menu that I had to try all of them. So it was kinda disappointing when the boba in my tea was very hard, not chewy at all. The matcha cheesecake was the only thing that stood out and I would get it again. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Kori is one of the spots I have in my weekly rotation. This bakery is located right on Mills and easily visible from the main street. Upon arriving, there is a good size parking lot located in the back of the shop, making it easy to find a parking spot. When entering the building you are automatically taken back by the beautiful interior and cute decor. It definitely gave a hip and trendy coffee shop vibe. This would definitely be a perfect spot to bring your laptop to work or to read a book while enjoying delicious drinks and treats. My "go to" order usually is a strawberry jasmine tea w/ boba and one of their mochi cubes. You can honestly not go wrong with any of their tea options... they are so light and refreshing! And as for the mochi cubes... not only are they visually beautiful....but they taste just at great! This is the only place in the Central Florida area that I have been to that has this type of dessert. As for the team members.. each and every person is so helpful. Parking is tricky for sure but after you find a spot you are in for a great time. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and totally willing to give advice or answer questions. We tried the strawberry mochi cube warmed up, the ube cookie and our favorite by miles the Lychee snow bowl. Also a blue coconut with panna cotta drink. All of the food was great. The blue coconut was unique and delicious. The snow was not too sweet and covered in fruit and toppings. I loved it. My littles loved it. Every bit was different. 10/10 The bathrooms and clean the wifi is fast and there are outlets at almost every seat. Next time I'll come back intending to relax. Their lychee snow had the perfect amount of sweetness, and was creamy and refreshing; it came with a bunch was different toppings that helped elevate the flavor and the texture which I thoroughly enjoyed! I wanted to try their shaved ice on a hot summer afternoon. The decor is simple but chic. It reminds me of a Japanese garden with the wood furnishing and a tree inside the store. I ordered a lychee snow ice (which is seasonal flavor) and a matcha mochi cube. The snow ice was fluffy and sweet. The mochi cube was toasted for serving. It was really good. A thing to note is they provide a disposable glove for you if you prefer to eat the mochi by hand. But I only found out about it after I was done. My friends took me to finally try out Kori Bakery and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth cravings!! I loved the interior aesthetic, everything felt light, airy, and welcoming. I also appreciated the nice touch of the indoor tree with seating around it to be welcoming to larger groups, there was plenty of seating in the space. The staff were also friendly and made our order pretty quickly. The desserts!!! We ordered the lychee snow ice and match mochi bowl to share among the 3 of us, while one of my friends ordered the original Melon pan for himself. The lychee snow ice was just the right amount to share and was so refreshing! The restaurant is not the easiest to locate, as in you definitely need to be intentionally seeking this place out in order to find it... you won't just happen to be passing by and stumbling across it. The desserts were divine. I've eaten many many sweets in my lifetime, but this felt as though each ingredient was carefully and deliberately selected for its perfect qualities. The desserts were large, but my goodness everything blended together with each bite in perfect harmony. The cashiers were informative, but once you sat down there was really no need for any further attention from them. The food was so good, we devoured it quickly, so there really wasn't any time to check on us. The ambience there is light and fun. The seating is somewhat limited, but understandably adequate. This place is adorable inside. Super cute, modern, and sleek. We tried the milk tea and the matcha tea with panna cotta, and wow... they were brewed perfectly. The tea wasn't watery at all, and you could actually taste the herbal notes. Pro tip: mix in the panna cotta from the bottom before you sip. It makes the whole drink come alive. If you've ever had grass jelly in boba, that's kind of the vibe of the panna cotta, but creamier. Such a good complement to the tea! Now for the star of the show: the matcha mochi cake. Absolute heaven. Soft, pillowy, ooey, gooey perfection. The flavors were this amazing balance of sweet, earthy, and buttery, and the mochi inside really kept the sweetness in check. After seeing this bakery featured on Instagram, I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I was lucky to score a street parking spot on Mills (parking is a bit difficult in this area on nights and weekends). The inside of the bakery was aesthetically pleasing. Lots of neutral colors, airy, and bright. It was very busy when visiting and the line was to the door. The wait was not long and the line moved fast. I ordered 3 of the cube desserts and a cookie to-go. It only took a few minutes to get the order. Once home the sampling began. I got the featured pride dessert and it had an ice cream center. I was not a huge fan of the cold middle with the bread like shell. I also got the strawberry and chocolate cube desserts. The texture was very nice, soft and easy to pull apart. I preferred the chocolate over the strawberry. Both did not have a strong flavor but it was there. I look forward to visiting again and ordered one of the ice treats that I saw everyone inside the bakery enjoying. As well and eating inside. Orlando is SO lucky to have this Japanese dessert (inspired) bakery! As a Mills50 resident, we are incredibly spoiled that we get to have such a unique dessert spot serving up some of the best sweets in town. From dessert drinks (both ready-made and fresh-made) to baked desserts (also ready-made and fresh-made), Kori now has a diverse selection of sweets for just about anybody, especially if you're feeling adventurous. When they first opened, they offered drinks, coffee and one flavor mochi cube. As of July 2025, they've added seasonal drinks and desserts like a Blue Coconut Milk Dark Brown Sugar Cold Foam with a Biscoff Cookie topping, as well as panna cotta desserts, 5 additional mochi cube flavors, mochi cookies, mochi bowls, cheesecakes, and a new offering called the "Melon Pan." On their website, it says it's a soft bread with strawberries and a cream filling, encased in a crunchy cookie crust... like... WHAT??? It's next on my list of things to try from there soon. Here's a list of things I've tried on my last handful of visits since they opened, and spoiler, they're all 10/10: Strawberry, Matcha and Taro mochi cubes, highly recommend all 3 (Toasty Way); the Kori Milk Tea, Matcha Milk Tea, and Taro Ube Milk (Milky Way); and lastly, the Lychee Rose and Mango Coconut (Icy Way). Other notes to share about Kori: there's limited parking since it shares the lot with the plaza behind it but I've never had an issue finding a spot in the lot or with street parking. The interior-who would've thought that a dessert cafe could be so beautiful? The ambiance is reflective of the desserts and a signal that they care about the entire experience. I especially love the woodworking in there, it's stunning. If you're a fan of Japandi style, it's worth visiting for even just a peek at the space. The customer service there has always been great for me IMO, even when they're slammed. On my last few visits, we were able to get our orders within 5 minutes so I think they have their system down at this point. The lines are not nearly as crazy as they used to be in the first few months they were open so I highly recommend stopping in when you have a sweet tooth. read more

Was so impressed with this mango golden cake! It was super spongy and not too sweet. The addition of the fresh mango and the salted whipped cream literally made this such a delicious dessert! I also liked the lightness of the cheesecake and really enjoyed the strawberry flavor with the nice addition of the Oreo crust on the bottom. It was out first time here and it was so cute! The space has a great contemporary feel. It is beautifully decorated without being overdone. It's inviting and modern, and a really nice place to sit and enjoy a treat. We tried the Taro Ube Coconut with boba, I've had a lot of Taro Boba and this was one of the best I've ever had. We also tried the Biscotti Mochi Cube. It was good, though for me it was more of a novelty. I'm glad I tired it, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I hadn't read any reviews before coming in so when I saw the Mochi Cubes, I was expecting a Mochi Cake. I was surprised that it was bread. Most of the flavor comes from the filling so the bites without filling don't have much flavor. The real standout for me was the Taro Ube Cookie. The flavor was fantastic and not overly sweet, it's something I'll definitely be back for. We decided to escape the heat with a sweet treat and came across Kori, a bakery and dessert place with Japanese-inspired goods. As we came in, we were able to order right away as there wasn't a line. There's plenty of seating inside and the bathrooms around the corner are very clean. For three people, we shared the bigger strawberry snow ice bowl. The soft texture was amazing and delicate to eat. The boba pearls and jelly added a pleasant pop and light sweetness as well. The chopped strawberry on top were also sweet and fresh, although I wish we had more in our bowl. The only other thing I would say is you do need to eat it fast, otherwise it does melt pretty fast. I'd love to come back and try more menu items! read more
