He said it tasted fresh and flavorful. I had the Brisket Chef's special and it did not disappoint. The flavors of everything were next level!! The staff were friendly and professional. He informed her we were there for the bar. We asked where the indoor seating was. Y'ALL... this man took us back in the hotel lobby and pointed at the lobby area. You want us to eat a late dinner and have drinks at this cool looking bar, but in actuality we sit where patrons eat their continental breakfast and are served by someone who has all but said "why are you here?" What?? So... my husband and I said no thank you and went to Cowboy Town which is a very short drive away. Please go there instead. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment. i have been going here since the place opened. the people here have two faces.. one that will smile and be friendly at times but the minute you walk away they have something to say about you.. most of the time it is not very nice. they do what they want, manager or no manager, they don't care... if they want to cus you out and get loud they do. the upper management (owner) does not care. he protects them wether they are right or wrong. their motto is " the customer is not always right". there is too much drama here!! owner lets the help run the show.. and what a poor show it is. its a shame!! if the right people where here this could be a great place. read more

There's a parking lot, and it's in a good location to see the rest of downtown Perry too.
