Justin played at our wedding. He was incredibly professional and did an amazing job. Highly recommend.

Justin turned our wedding into a dance party. He showed up with his tenor sax, and blew our guests away with his creative enhancements to our DJ's tracks. And, talk about going above and beyond, Justin also injected energy into our hora, taking the lead and getting folks onto the dance floor. 5/5 stars. read more

He left our wedding early and did not provide any type of compensation. Terrible vendor to work with. Do not recommend.

Before we even started the process, we were a fan of Justin's channel on YouTube -- in fact, we followed him because we saw him perform at Union Square years ago and were blown away. When we were planning on entertainment at our wedding, my partner and I knew that we had to have someone that mades us and our guests feel a certain way. Music was going to be an important element in our wedding experience, so we needed something unique and current. The first person that came to mind was Justin. We knew he was busy and thought it was going to be a long shot, but we decided to reach out to him anyway. As luck would have it, the Saturday of our wedding was open on his schedule and we immediately booked him. Reminiscing about the wedding, I could still remember the emotion I felt when Justin played the processional song. This guy is one of the most talented musicians I know, and he is able to emote something so profound that there was no need for lyrics. It was simply him, his saxaphone, and his passion to make beautiful music. After the ceremony, he played the latest hits for the cocktail hour, which (needless to say) got everyone in the mood! It didn't stop there -- Justin was so moved by the energy of our guests, that he told us he wanted to come back later than evening to do another set. He capped the night performing side-by-side with our speakeasy vocalist, and it was something so special, words cannot describe it. To sum it up, Justin is an exquisite saxophonist who's talent is unmatched. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to add a musical element to any special event and make the moment something magical. read more

We saw Justin playing in Union Square years ago, and joked that we we were going to hire him for our wedding. Fast forward years later and that's exactly what we did. We kept him a secret from our guests so they were BLOWN AWAY. Working wth Justin was so effortless and he made the process as easy as humanly possible. He was very responsive and answered all of the questions we had in a timely manner. He was able to play all of the songs that we requested and then some. He worked closely with the DJ to jump in on the sax on certain songs during the reception. Him being there made for a truly remarkable wedding day. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. We will be sure to recommend him for years to come! read more

I've been following Justin's music for the last 4 years after seeing him perform outside of the SF ferry building one weekend. I was never really into sax music before, but Justin really changed that for me. When we got engaged, I knew I HAD to have him play! We got married a few weeks ago, and Justin played our grand entrance song, the first dance, the groom/mother and bride/father songs, and he also played a few songs over dinner. He even collaborated (unplanned) with my two family members who are musicians. My family went crazy! Everyone was talking about him the next day. He really made our wedding so so special, and I couldn't have been more grateful. I wish we had enough in our budget to have him play all night. Justin was so easy to work with. We initially thought we could only choose songs he has covered before but that wasn't the case. He can learn any song to play for your wedding/event. I highly highly recommend checking out his Instagram and YouTube and booking him!! read more

Justin helped me surprise my wife on our wedding day, he is an awesome musician and I would hire him again if I had the opportunity.

Justin is an extremely talented saxophone player! I hired Justin to play at my wedding and he did not disappoint. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I have been fans of Justin's for years ever since we first heard him play at Union Square in San Francisco. It was one of the best decisions to have Justin play at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests would not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the live music and how awesome he was on the sax! We had a specific song in mind for our first dance song and Justin was so accommodating to get it just right for us. He was easy to communicate with during the entire process leading up to the wedding. We highly recommend him! read more

Justin did an AMAZING job at our wedding! Throughout the entire process his organization, attention to detail, and ability to flawlessly deliver on the big day while making it easy for us validated that having him was one of the best decisions of the entire wedding. In fact I have an Uncle with early onset Alzheimers who is deteriorating fast. He was entranced by Justin and has listened to his videos constantly since the wedding. Justin made everyone's day, especially ours! His music touches people. read more

I am wedding coordinator who hired Justin Ward to surprise the bride on the wedding day! The groom came to me with this idea to surprise his bride, (who watched his YouTube videos constantly), to surprise her during the ceremony with Justin playing the sax as she walked down the aisle. Justin was SO easy to work with leading up to the event and blew everyone away during the event. He is so much fun and has such great talent. Can't wait to work with him again, hopefully soon! Justin Ward... Where to begin! I've seen him since he started playing in Santa Barbara to randomly seeing him in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He is one of a kind sax player and probably one of the few that brings personality, fun, and charisma to the instrument. I decided that for my proposal, I would have him play to set the ambiance and mood... My fiancé loved it. We did this in Barcelona! He is incredibly professional, punctual, and passionate about his work. He made it incredibly easy for me to not worry about any logistics. He is very independent, agile, and quick to adjust... This flexibility is incredibly hard to find... Especially when doing an event outside the US. Whoever works with Justin... (some include Snoop Dogg, Tyrese... Etc) will be lucky to have done so... The talent, passion, and professionalism is there. I know it is a matter of time before his talent takes him to a whole new level and make him one of the big sax players of our generation. I am lucky to have worked with Justin... And plan to have him lead the music at my wedding in 2017. read more

JUSTIN IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD AT OUR EVENTS! We first met him at Union Square In SF when he was playing outside Macy's during the Holidays and were so blown away by how talented he was that we had to stop and listen. We stayed throughout his whole set and of course bought his cd. He truly is one of the few people you encounter in life that you meet and go "he's going to be really big." A few months later my mom and husband booked him for my 30th birthday party at a local East Bay restaurant, very intimate setting and he came in giving me a surprise birthday serenade, it was truly something unforgettable for myself and all of our guests, including our 2 year old. Our lil guy was entranced with him the entire party. Justin is not only an amazing musician but also a class act from the way he interacts with people in Union Square enjoying his music, via email coordinating the booking, with the guests at the party (my son he was especially adorable with) & to his Instagram followers. I have really enjoyed listening to his music over the last year but it has also been a pleasure adding him into our circle of people I know - what a great person that is awesomely talented! Can't wait to have him at our next event!!! Trista, Barron & Grayson read more

My husband and I randomly came across some of Justin's videos on YouTube and were so excited when we went to his website and found out we could hire him for our wedding. He absolutely KILLED IT at our wedding and our guests and vendors couldn't stop talking about how great he was! This guy has some serious talent and plays the sax with soul. Justin played all different kinds of music from R&B to tropical house. Beyond the fact that he's the best sax player we've ever heard, the dude is really cool to hang out with! We loved working with Justin and can't wait to see him at one of his shows. read more

Justin Ward played at our wedding this past weekend. All I have to say is, he was probably everyone's favorite part of the wedding (aside from us getting officially married, of course lol ;)) . To put it simply, Justin is absolutely amazing! I work in the wedding industry and had the pleasure of meeting Justin when he preformed at one of my clients weddings. So often I see live music during a ceremony or cocktail hour but it's slow, soft and a little boring at times. Justin was the opposite, he played everything from classics to Michael Jackson to current hits. He is beyond talented and makes a room feel so lively & fun! When it came time to plan my personal wedding, Justin was a must have! He was awesome to work with, professional, prompt to respond to questions and the day of, he was just as amazing as I remembered! read more

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Justin play at our wedding. We have always enjoyed his talent on the streets of San Francisco and when it was time to plan our wedding, I knew we had to reach out. From the first interactions, Justin has always been professional, and quick to respond to any and all inquiries. Although I know he has his hands full, he never gave that impression throughout the planning process. Our wedding was at the Bently Reserve and Justin played during our ceremony, cocktail reception and first dance (where he played alongside the DJ). I cannot tell you how many positive and glowing comments we received noting how amazing Justin was. I only wish I could have watched him play some more! He added to the magic of our evening and we can't wait to work with him again. If you are looking for an unique musical talent for your wedding or any event, I highly recommend Justin - he definitely is special! read more

We were lucky enough to randomly run in to Justin performing one Christmas in San Francisco. We immediately went out of our way to go over where he was performing to listen to his incredible performance. We immediately fell in love with his music and his amazing talent. We bought a CD from him and have pretty much worn it out listening. I went back to where he was performing just to try to find him. Luckily, I ran in to him and was lucky enough to make contact with him. I then booked him for my daughter's 30th birthday party. He was AMAZING!!!! It goes without saying he played well, but he also interacted with the crowd so professionally and friendly. His overall performance was PERFECT!!! In booking this event, he was prompt in his response and was great to coordinate all the details with him prior to the event. I couldn't recommend him more. Everyone that attended was given a CD and they are still talking about it and play his music all the time. Thank you, Justin, for everything and I look forward to working with you in the future. And, I highly recommend Justin for a large or small group .... he will NOT disappoint! read more
