We've worked with Alex for years, and he never disappoints. Most recently, he DJ'd my mom's 50th-day celebration and was amazing: on time, professional, and such a great vibe. He brought all the lights and a microphone, made everything run smoothly, and really set the tone for the event. We've also used Alex for my birthday parties since I was about 14 (I'm 28 now ), which says a lot. He's reliable, easy to work with, and just an all-around great guy. Highly recommend him for any event. read more

I first heard DJ Alex at a car show in 2022. I was immediately impressed with his playlist and asked for his business card. He was the perfect DJ for our high school reunion in San Francisco. It was fun collaborating with Alex on the phone to cover music selections. Since his dad went to the same high school and graduated the following year, they had a complete understanding of the era and the music tastes of our classmates. The music was well paired and set the right vibe throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Everyone loved the music, as evidenced by the full dance floor all night. I would highly recommend Alex. read more

We hired DJ Alex for our New Year's Eve Celebration. We provided DJ Alex with a customized Arabic and English playlists and he was able to beautifully mix in both genres. He also came early and gave himself enough time to set up and test out the equipment. We really enjoyed having DJ Alex at our event and so did the guests! There were no complaints and everyone was jamming out to the music. read more

Cannot speak highly enough of DJ Alex Storm. He did an AMAZING job at my wedding. When I asked my dad what his favorite part was, he said it was seeing everybody dance! Alex did a lovely job at the ambiance at the ceremony and dinner and then knocked it out of the park for the open dancing. He managed to get everybody of all ages on the dance floor. I even had friends come up to me afterwards and tell me how great he was. I would give 6 stars if I could FOR THE AESTHETICS. I waited to post a review until I got my wedding pictures back because the world needs to appreciate that DJ Alex created the party and he WAS the party. Bask in his majesty. Look at those long flowing locks. Appreciate his dedication to keeping his blazer on, for the vibes. He was perfect in every way and I highly highly recommend him. Thank you Alex!!! read more

Would give DJ Alex 6 stars if we could! 5 months before the wedding, Alex took time to meet us and get started on the playlist. He was very attentive and responsive to our music needs, especially since my husband now and I don't listen to much mainstream. For the end result, the music was truly a reflection of us because of our partnership and everyone still had a great time. Woohoo! If you truly want your wedding to be about you and your soon-to-be, book Alex for your music needs! read more

DJ Alex was very accommodating from the get-go. He had no problem being flexible with our in-the moment requests during our wedding and delivered what he promised. His rate was reasonable too! We met with him in person months before the wedding, and had multiple phone conversations. He does well reading the crowd and making MC announcements. Thank you Alex! read more

This is a quick review of Alex' excellent customer service. He responded very quickly to my inquiry, but unfortunately he was already booked for the evening. Alex djed for our wedding. He was very thorough and asked a lot of great detailed question throughout the process. He played all the songs that we requested as well as made a few suggestions. We liked that he also took in our guests' songs requests which I know some DJs do not. Overall, very good experience and everyone had a great time dancing. read more

I hired Alex for my son's graduation party this past weekend. Prior to the party the communications level was fantastic. He worked with me to come up with a song list and kept reminding me to finalize it 2 weeks before the party. I gave him few songs and asked him to pick the rest as he likes. He texted me few times to check on my preps which was so sweet. On the day of the party he came early to set up and it went so smoothly. He has a very sweet and pleasant attitude and is so cooperative. The music was amazing. Everyone young and old enjoyed it and didn't stop dancing. He played a mix of Arabic, English and Spanish music and all the songs were a hit. If you are looking for a good DJ, Alex is your man. Thank you Alex. read more

Alex was the DJ for our engagement party in South San Francisco. Alex's best quality was his attention to detail. About a week prior to the party, my fiancée and I had a conference call with Alex to go over the songs we wanted played, the order of certain songs that was required for our event, and the general vibe and atmosphere we were aiming for during different parts of our party. Alex made sure he asked us all the right questions to ensure that we felt comfortable with the music during the engagement party. Our event was incredibly fun and the music and dance were a huge part of that. We gave Alex the somewhat tricky task of mixing Arabic and English songs and he did a great job to make sure that we had a combination of both types of music. All the guests had a great time and Alex kept the energy going all night. read more

I used Alex as the DJ for my wedding at the Hilton Concord and he was great! He met with me at a local Starbucks and we discussed the wedding and I provided him with the agenda of the event along with some Arabic Song choices. The rest of the playlists were already songs he had. He was professional and showed up on time and followed the agenda as he was told. I highly recommend him! read more

DJ Alex is the best! He is so flexible, accommodating, and friendly. He spent at least and hour straight with me on the phone discussing my preferences, what type of music I'm looking for, and exactly how I'd like things to be. From our conversation, I learned that he has experience with music of many different languages and cultures. Unfortunately, I canceled my party but I'd go with DJ Alex any day! I hired DJ Alex for my wedding in November and he did an awesome job. He was in constant communication with me leading up to the wedding and was very thorough in helping me plan all of the music for the various activities of the day. We needed a mix of Arabic and English music and he helped us figure out the perfect mix. Not only was he professional and did a great job on the day of. He, unfortunately, had appendicitis and was in the hospital days before the wedding and was still able to deliver everything as expected. Very happy and would hire him again for another event! :) read more

yikeesss..i'm apart of my school's prom committee and one of our tasks was to create a playlist for the DJ to play. WELL I CAN SAY NONE OF THE SONGS WERE PLAYED! not only was the music selection horrible, but the transitions were even worse. i don't know if it was the equipment or just his transitioning skills, but there were HIGH PITCH SCREECHING NOISES that caused everyone to cover their ears and even made my date and i run out because the noise was extremely unbearable. This DJ was one used by one of our classmates for her sweet 16, and she said he was great; however, i strongly suggest that you do not book him for prom. read more

Alex was my wedding DJ and we couldn't be happier. We had a multicultural wedding - I'm Palestinian and my wife is American - and needed Alex to play a mix of music in English, Arabic, and Spanish. He took time to get to know us ahead of the wedding and talk through everything so we could pull together a good playlist. On the day of the wedding, he was on time, had all the audio equipment needed for the ceremony to toasts to dancing and even brought an assistant. He even brought party lights! Everyone had lots of fun dancing. The music was great, there was great audio quality and was very accommodating and able to make adjustments of any kinds throughout the party--everything was awesome AND Alex's price is very reasonable and affordable! Can't recommend him enough! Thank you for being part of our special day! Roni & Sierra read more

Dj Alex was awesome!!! He was great when it came to keeping the party going. I had a relatively short reception so the music had to stop for traditional breaks during the party, but DJ Alex kept it going as if he never had to stop the music. He was great in listening to me and my wife's concerns, cultural needs, and personal preferences. I believe 90 % of a party is the tone, DJ Alex did a great job at keeping it where it should've been. Thank you for your amazing turn out. read more

DJ Alex is the bomb! He knew multiple genres of the music we wanted to play. He is not only professional and talented, he is helpful far beyond anything you would expect. Alex helped us (wedding event) plan the timing of events at the reception, and coordinated them with the catering company ahead of time! He became our assistant wedding planner...once everything was happening, Alex also MC'd everything for us too! My wife and I are sooooo happy and thankful we chose Alex for our wedding. Additionally, no other DJ came close to his rate(s). Seriously, he is worth far more than he charges. Thank you so much, Alex! We had a blast! read more

DJ Alex recently performed at my wedding on April 13th, 2014 and did a fantastic job!! It was hard for me to find a DJ that was familiar with the Kurdish, Arabic, English, and Latin Music. I was very lucky to find him. He played exactly what I wanted. I provided him with a list of songs from youtube since I didn't have all my songs in a MP3 format. He offered to convert all the youtube links to mp3 and played each one of them at my wedding as requested. Alex has a lot of experience with mixed culture weddings so he was able to get everyone on the dance floor. All my guests had an amazing time. What I liked most about Alex was: 1. Very patient with me (I kept changing my song list and asked him to update the list several times) he was prompt in getting back to me whenever I emailed or contacted him 2. Very friendly and professional throughout the entire process 3. Very passionate about his job 4. Showed up to the wedding venue 2 hours before the scheduled time 5. No mistakes and awesome mixed music selection (English, Arabic, Kurdish, and Latin). He knows exactly what will move the guests to the dance floor 6. Very competitively priced and good equipment. I would recommend him without hesitation, with DJ Alex you will not have to worry. He kept the guests engaged the whole time until the end of the party. Thanks Alex for all your help! This guy is one word -- awful. Recently had him for our prom, and at first he seemed alright, but throughout the night he had a terrible attitude and he played terrible music. At one point, there was some sort of rave/dubstep music playing for like ten minutes. I've never seen so much people sit down in the room. I am on the prom committee, we hired this guy, we gave him a playlist. Apparently he said on stage "sorry if the songs suck that was all on the playlist" (something along those lines). He had received the playlist with TONS of songs that he had not yet played. So, that was disappointing. Later on, he says "if you have any issues, talk to your student government." And sometime throughout the night he says over the mic to the teachers "teachers tell your students to stop coming up here" (I suppose we were suggesting better songs). This guy is so rude and I was not pleased with his attitude. His song selection sucked, the crowd was a mess, the seniors were not completely satisfied, and his transitions were, too, terrible. He also stopped songs when the beat was about to drop too. I usually don't give reviews, but I had too this time because this just screwed me up. According to his other reviews, he's good at other events, but if you want this guy for prom -- think again. If I could, I would give him a zero, but I gave him a one star out of pity. This guy sucks. read more

Dj Alex was wonderful to work with for my wedding! He was well experienced and dedicated to ensuring everything thing went right for our event. We are so happy to have worked with DJ Alex. We hired Alex for our wedding at Stern Grove. He met with us before the wedding to go over exactly what and how we wanted to set up the sound systems. The best part was that he knows and likes a variety of music genres and was able to accommodate our music requests from soft rock to rap. Alex even provided amazing lights for mood setting. If you are looking for someone who is flexible and responsive to your tastes, Alex would be great for your next party! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I am so disappointed in what we received with DJ Alex's services and his price! Someone I knew recommended him and I was excited thinking that he would do a great job. We spent many hours going over what I wanted and what songs for my wedding were important and when I wanted the songs cut. The DJ first off never cut the songs when we discussed, he also only played Arabic music when we told him to please mix it up and I emailed him a playlist! He also tried to rush me for my speeches. It was just overall disappointing! Please please please if you don't want someone who doesn't listen and only plays off of CD's (from what my guest told me-which was so embarrassing) do not book him! Way to expensive and not worth it one bit! read more

This past year Alex DJ'd for our high school dance. He was very easy to get in touch with and extremely understanding and kind when it came to preparations. There were absolutely no glitches in the arrangements of the dance which made my life much easier.
