He also provided recommendations & suggestions to help perfect our timeline. Mark was energetic, communicative & responsive, and he was flexible to a few last-minute changes the day of the wedding. After our meeting, Richard selected Jayson from his lineup of DJ/MCs as the person who would be the best fit for us (since he was personally unavailable that day). Jayson has a friendly demeanor, he thoughtfully guided us through lines of questioning to determining exactly what our vision was and how he could bring it to life, and boy did he absolutely crush it. It was important for us that the DJ be a powerful guide for the evening, but also part of the background, in so far as they helped facilitate the timeline and pump the crowd, but don't make the day about them by taking too much on the mic etc. Jayson understood our needs with enthusiasm, nailed our request for music types, and did a great job at reading the room during party time. The party and dancing was super important to us, and he really understood the crowd and played music to get everyone pumped.

For this last production, a beautiful Jewish ceremony, Brian performed music from Fiddler on the Roof and another special traditional song for the families. The sound was just extraordinary, timing perfect. For the cocktail reception music we asked for uptempo current pop music and as I moved through the lively reception I caught bits of Talking Heads' "This Must Be The Place" and other favorites - nothing cliche, just lovely in the setting and really really special. As far as production goes, the work we do leading up to the event, Brian is patient and caring. He cares about getting it right for the client. Not rushing through but more careful and cautious. He patiently reviewed with me (a few times until I got it!) all of the musical instruments he felt would be best in combination for each song for the ceremony, and also for the reception, and I trusted that he knew best. It was perfection.
