Tony did an exceptional job with not only being our DJ but also our MC for our backyard reception wedding party. While my wife and I were considering DJ's, we were recommended Tony from a family friend. We got on the phone with him 7 months prior to the wedding date and he was very professional and scheduled an appointment to further discuss. After the consultation, we called him back immediately and booked him. Tony being from the bay allows him to be very diverse and it was an added bonus of his Hispanic roots as he was able to adhere well with our wedding party that was diverse but primarily Hispanics. He played many different genres of music for my wedding. There was a combination of country, Latin, r&b, hip-hop, standard wedding/dancing songs which we were shocked as we only gave him a few songs and ideas of the music we were into. His ability to mix and transitions between songs was so fluid and dynamic that you stayed focus on dancing or singing along before you realized the song changed. His work went so well that my guest(s) extended his services another hour without checking in with me, haha. I don't know about you but this goes to show that he can keep the party going. In fact, Tony had a hard stop at a certain time and there were a few people upset he had to go, haha. Other great qualities Tony brought forward was excellent customer care. He was very easy to talk to and quick to understand the vision of what was wanted. He tackled last minute requests with the attitude of "you got it!". His equipment is insured and is top quality which I personally don't recall ever hearing or seeing any sort of malfunctioning or speaker clipping/static. He did an excellent job planning and testing his setup well before the party started which I appreciated. He was professional, approachable, humorous and lively during every encounter and more so on the big day. He cares about his work and will go out of his own way to make sure your event goes better than what you expected. He is very calm, collect and on top of it which is one less thing you need to worry about. Tony will definitely remain as my primary DJ and one I would recommend to anyone! Tony, I can't thank you enough for making our wedding day an ever lasting memory, thank you! read more

It was an absolute pleasure working with DJ Tony Silva for our wedding in August 2025. From the moment we connected with him, we knew he was the perfect fit--and he offered bilingual services in Spanish, which was important to us and our families. From the beginning, Tony brought such great energy and enthusiasm, which we appreciated so much throughout the planning process. He communicated clearly and consistently, always happy to answer our questions, and truly felt like a breath of fresh air during wedding planning. We knew he would do an amazing job--and he did not disappoint! He read the crowd perfectly and knew exactly how to get and keep everyone on the dance floor. My husband and I danced the night away, and it was everything we hoped for and more! We were especially grateful that Tony checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we were doing okay. That level of care really stood out to us. We're also so glad we added his uplighting as it looked AMAZING at our venue and created such an immersive atmosphere. As our Master of Ceremonies, Tony kept the energy flowing and handled all the announcements with professionalism and a great sense of timing. Everything felt seamless and in sync with the vibe of the room. We're still getting compliments from our guests about how fun the night was--and we know that DJ Tony Silva played a huge part in that. He truly made it a vibe, and we're so grateful we had him as part of our special day. We highly, highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ/MC who is professional, fun, and completely in tune with the energy of the room. read more

Working with Tony was great! He had a robust process to make sure everything went the way we wanted it to on the day of the wedding from our music choices walking down the aisle to a, mixed English and Spanish dance music set! He did sound for our ceremony and music and lights for our reception. There was a little bit of speaker crackle with the music during the ceremony, but other than that, it was a perfect evening with Tony at the MC station! read more

There aren't enough words to describe how much I love and respect Mr. Tony Silva! He has been my top choice when it comes to DJ services and any other related services for years, and always will be. Tony provided DJ services for my quinceanera (15th birthday) back in 2008 and has recently also provided DJ services for my wedding at the beginning of this month (November 2018). I still have people who I see on occasion tell me that the DJ from my quince is the BEST. He also provided uplighting as well as a customized digital wall logo for my wedding, which were both perfect. Everyone was in awe when they walked into our reception and saw the beautiful lighting and perfect logo. He knows how to keep people moving, and has a good mix of both "oldies" (early 2000s and before) as well as current music. You'd be a dummy if you passed up on him!!! read more

DJ Tony did a great job at my daughter's Quinceanera. He was patient, detailed and professional. He was patient with my requests and he was not fazed when we added a new cocktail area a couple of days before the event. He is very experienced and really kept the entire crowd engaged (teens, parents and grandparents). read more

We were looking at venues for our wedding and in one of them we saw recommendations for different dj's and since he is bilingual we decided to call Tony. After talking to him the first time we decided to hire him. He did an amazing job and we appreciate his professionalism. He took the time to meet us and get to know us a bit more. We sent him our playlist and some of the songs that we like. To make the story short the ceremony and reception was complete success. He even had the time to look up some popular songs from my home country (Bolivia)and keep the party going! I would highly recommend him! Tony came referred to me by a relative and after reviewing his yelp and speaking with him over the phone, my wife and I hired him for our wedding. My priority was to make sure I had the best day of my life at my wedding with my wife and to have a professional MC. Tony did all that, my wedding day was honestly the best day of my life. Tony invited us to his beautiful home in South SF to discuss the wedding details. He was very professional, great listener, had good suggestions, and he was extremely respectful not to overstep...even though we assured him we were more than okay with his ideas. He did an amazing job at the wedding, I am still getting compliments to this day, the venue asked him for his info because they want to refer him business. Tony has been our family DJ for many, many years- since my sister's wedding in 2003! Since then he has not only DJ'd my daughter's quinceanera, and my niece's too but also my Mom's 70th birthday party. He's so reliable, punctual and accommodating to the different tastes in music that I've also used his services for about 8 years for my company annual crab feed and everyone talks about rants and raves for days after the function about Tony. I've recommended Tony to several of my friends and they have all been extremely pleased too- I've been lucky enough to attend those parties too and, as usual, dance the night away!! Evidently I can't give Tony enough praises and can't wait to plan another fiesta so He can get the party started!! Thanks Tony!! read more

This guy is awesome. He spends time getting to know his customers and what the atmosphere of the event. He encourages the customers to add their suggested music but then improves on that music style depending on how the audience responds. He is punctual and very experienced. Also a really good MC that was able to keep all the different processes flowing throughout the event. Will definitely use his services again. We loved loved Tony!! He's so professional, reliable and accommodating. That day he had everyone up and dancing and he was able to blend and bring together two different cultures through music. We requested arabic dancing music and he worked with me to make that happen. We had a mix of Latin, arabic and Top radio hits. It couldn't have been better. He met with us prior to the event to talk about what we wanted and he had paperwork for us to fill out. I think that is key so the day could run smooth and organized. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any other event. I even rented uplighting from him, which made the room even more beautiful. Thanks Tony, you Rock! read more

Tony Silva did a wonderful job at my daughter's Sweet 16, this past weekend! We have had previous parties and the other DJs came no where close to Tony's service. Prior to the event Tony gets an understanding of the requests and timelines, and was so helpful in the process. I have to be honest in the back of my mind I thought he's so great with planning and responsiveness, lets see how the music is .... Well he was great, we had a mixture of guests with different tastes of music and he had everyone dancing and we received many compliments on the music. Throughout the evening Tony did many check ins to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Tony, You did much more then play music you created a memory. You were thoughtful with playing that perfect song at the right moment, you got to know my daughter and knew she was shy and pumped her up throughout the night by calling her Princess. Gracias! Tony will be my DJ for any future parties and I highly recommend him. read more

If I could I would give DJ Tony Silva more stars ! He was the DJ for my wedding on June 25, 2016 at Canyon View, San Ramon. He has done some of my cousins weddings before and we all loved him. A month before the wedding Tony met with my family, husband , and I to discuss the music and get to know each other. At the wedding he really kept the party going! Tony did such an AMAZING job at our wedding and reception! Leading up to our big day, we had good communication over email/phone and met in person to finalize/tune the details. He was very knowledgeable about what songs to recommend and play throughout the night, and wanted to make sure we had our say as well. The highlight of our reception was when me and my bride did an outfit change into traditional Korean hanbok during the open dance floor time. When we came back in dressed very traditional, he (very appropriately, and unplanned) put on PSY Gangnam Style and everyone loved it!! I can honestly recommend DJ Tony Silva to anyone wanting a very personalized and memorable wedding experience. read more

We didn't have a lot of specific ideas or music that we wanted to play yet he was able to take our sparse idea and give us a playlist that we loved! We hired Tony to DJ our company Christmas party first in 2017. I was going through yelp looking for a DJ extremely last minute. Luckily for me, I stumbled upon Tony's yelp page. I read nothing but positive reviews. I decided to reach out to Tony and just my luck he was available to host our party. Tony was able to blend Latin and top radio hits for the guest. Tony created a great atmosphere of dancing an fun. Come around 2018, DJ Tony reached out to me offering his services. Its like he read my mind. He left a great impression on the guest the previous year, we were definitely going to reach out to him to host our company Christmas party this time around. Unfortunately, this time around Tony himself was not available, but he did a very great job of sending one of his DJ's. Andres was our party DJ and he did a great job as well. Tony was able to communicate the music taste from the previous year and Andres was able to get the guest going. Overall, DJ Tony Silva is highly recommendable. Tony does a great job communicating with the host and ensuring that any special music requests are taken care. He's extremely professional and makes sure all equipment is working/set up on time. We definitely look forward to having DJ Tony Silva for next years party as well. read more

DJ Tony Silva was fantastic to work with. He DJ'd a six-hour banquet celebrating Latino medical student graduates from all over the west coast, with a great mix of music for the various portions of the event, including an award ceremony and a dance party. In all communications leading up to the event, he was responsive, professional, and overall very pleasant to work with. His sound technician arrived 3+ hours early to set up and make sure everything was ready. The guests all had a wonderful time, and they especially enjoyed the dance party that included a variety of genres like salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip hop, latin pop, etc. I would absolutely recommend him as a DJ for any event! I got married this last Saturday and it was AMAZING with huge thanks to Tony! He was on point with all the specifics that I sent to him for the ceremony and reception and his timing for everything was impeccable. I had a large and very different variety of music that we wanted him to play and he mixed everything together so smoothly! My guests kept coming up and talking about how great the Music was! We put our trust in him to choose songs from each genre that would get the party moving and he over exceeded our expectations throughout the entire night! I should also mention that he is extremely kind and understanding which is exactly what any bride needs when having so much on her plate. He offered advice that every bride and groom needs to hear (like to just enjoy yourself and don't sweat the small stuff) and was very calming at a really stressful time. Our day was absolutely perfect and he was a huge part of that! He has great energy and if I could go back in time, I would choose him all over again! We Thank you so much, Tony! I love love love Tony Silvas style.. He plays a variety of music n most important he's very professional. I highly recommend him.

Great job! I highly recommend DJ Tony. I wanted a bilingual (Spanish and English) DJ. This was extremely important to me since I love dancing. I married a non-Latin husband, so a lot of our guests were mono-lingual English speakers. These guests were dancing to Latin music and they enjoyed it. DJ Tony did a good job of encouraging these guests to dance, he even mentioned that there was no right or wrong way of dancing merengue, cumbia, and salsa. I got a lot of wonderful compliments on the music. DJ Tony is very professional and does a well job on communicating via email and in person. I felt as though I was in good hands and I was! I would definitely use him again. If you're looking for a DJ that plays a variety of music then I would go with him. read more

Words can not express how amazing it was to work with Tony. We had our wedding on Saturday and Tony made the experience that much better. Communication was on point; there was never a moment when we needed an answer that there wasn't a response. He even went out of his way the day before our wedding to try and find us a photobooth..Literally within an hour we had one. He totally saved the day. Our music selection was all across the board and he was able to accomodate it all. We received many compliments on our music and how everything just went with the flow. our wedding had a mix of cultures (mexican and samoan) Tony was able to capture that especially when leading into our Siva samoa dance. I would highly recommend Tony; Very professional, amazing and a sweet person to work with! fyi: he'll also get your party started with all the great party hits!! -Rosie read more

Tony Silva was the perfect choice for our wedding on October 22, 2016 in Walnut Creek, CA. I found him right here on Yelp and we are grateful to have hired him. Prior to the event we discussed by phone the type of wedding we wanted, the type of guests attending, and music we liked. We met with him about a month prior to the event (at his request) to go over the timeline and plan more in detail. Tony's questions and suggestions showed he's a professional and that he has a lot of experience with weddings. He kept telling us to enjoy the day and everything would be taken care of. We put our trust in Tony and he definitely came through! The music was perfect all night long!! Tony played a mix of English and Spanish music that we requested and was able to MC the event in both languages flawlessly. Guests were dancing pretty much from beginning to end. The guests told us the variety of music the DJ played was some of the best they ever heard. Tony made the night about us and our family and friends.
