DJ E.T. understood the assignment! The music was flowing, energy was up and vibes were high all night on our wedding day at Saratoga Springs. E.T. was our DJ and MC and did a great job! We had two meetings prior and provided him with a list of songs and genres we liked. The questionnaire he sent was super helpful! We appreciated hearing the songs we listed! I remember hearing a BSB song I listed and turned to E.T. and shouted YES! E.T. is the guy! Your guy! Thank you so much for being part of our special day! read more

My wife and I hired DJ ET for our wedding in May of 2026 and we are so so grateful for our choice. ET was the absolute best! He was incredibly attentive to our requests, super professional and managed one AWESOME dance floor. We can't recommend him enough! There are a lot of details associated with weddings and I was really impressed that ET did not seem to miss a single one. He played just about every song we requested (including the odd ones!) and did not miss a single announcement. He is an incredibly talented and competent DJ and I strongly recommend you hire him! ET, thank you so so much! read more

E.T. was our wedding DJ and MC and he absolutely NAILED it. From start to finish, awesome energy, vibes, and great song selection! He also organized a spectacular grand entrance for us! We simply gave him a box of glowsticks for guests to use, and he handled everything else! Made the announcements, passed out glowsticks, organized guests into two lines to make an awesome tunnel effect; he took care of it all! Thanks ET for the awesome time! read more

ET has DJ'd multiple events for me -- he did my wedding eight years ago and just recently my 40th birthday. He's an incredible music partner who really listens to your preferences, helps you think through the flow of the event, and is always willing to lend a hand with anything else that pops up. The music at my birthday was amazing; so many guests complimented it, and he set the perfect vibe all night. Highly recommend -- hire him with confidence! read more

DJ ET was the DJ and MC for our wedding at Preservation Park in Oakland and did a fantastic job. He had reasonable prices, was responsive, helpful and completely professional as well as thorough. The music was great and he easily worked from a Spotify playlist we shared, seamlessly blending the music and I received many compliments on the great job he did. He also did a fantastic job as the MC for the event - calling people to go get dinner and the like. His sound equipment - including microphones we used for the ceremony - all worked great. There was not a single audio issue at the wedding. He arrived early to set up and also even came to our in person walk through of the venue the week before. If you need a wedding DJ, ET is the guy!! read more

Me and my husband loved DJ ET. We lost our original DJ due to some other issues he was having and we found DJ ET through our venue and he was amazing! He really helped create the mood we wanted for our wedding and made this process so easy! He was so easy to talk to and made the wedding so successful and fun! All my guests raved about him. Would definitely use in the future if we ever need him! read more

DJ E.T. is the best!! I've been following his work for a while and was so glad that he was available to DJ/MC our wedding. Working with him was easy; he was responsive and flexible, a charismatic MC, and kept the dance floor filled all night. He has a thorough understanding of how weddings work, and kept us on our timeline (day-of AND during planning). Classy setup and provided some needed gear for the ceremony amplification. We had a few specialty songs/dances, and he made it all flow really well. With everything taken care of we could really enjoy the evening! All in all a super fun night, our guests invariably mentioned what a great job our DJ did! 11/10 would do it all again, thank you E.T.! read more

Thank you E.T. for being an integral part of the BEST night of our lives!!! If you're looking for a positive energy who is professional, thoughtful, and fun, I would recommend none other than the man himself to be your MC for your event. Beginning with our meetings, he made us feel more reassured after every time we spoke leading up to our wedding. His wisdom and perspective about how to take care of ourselves on the big day really helped us thrive. Additionally, E.T. is very organized, including a cohesive document which made sure we kept every detail in mind. His thoughtfulness when going over the itinerary made it easy to create a coherent timeline and ensure we would have the right songs in place for each moment. When it came to the reception, no one left the dance floor thanks to how he can put together an awesome set. Everyone felt included from his variety of songs, but ultimately he listened to how we wanted the vibes to be and he absolutely delivered. Thank you again, E.T., it's our pleasure to recommend your services to everyone who can benefit from them! read more

Words cannot express how incredible DJ ET made our night. Our friend Sam Drake recommended him and it was the best decision ever. The dance floor was consistently packed, if not more packed as the night carried on. I only wish we had opted for more time at the venue so that we could dance longer. It was banger after banger after banger!! and was exactly what I hoped for. His mixes and transitions were one of the best, if not THE BEST. Literally nobody left the dance floor once they stepped on. Every transition was so hype!! ET was also a natural as an MC. Everything flowed, everything was hype. Man the dance floor was one of the best parts of the wedding that I would want to relive again and again thanks to ET's sick beats. Additionally, leading up to the wedding, ET was super responsive and addressed our questions within the day. He sent us a questionnaire and went through our answers with us to ensure we were aligned and confident. We also shared example songs on Spotify of what vibe we were looking for. Also his DJ set up is super nice and professional. All the wires are hidden and his set up lights up with different colors based on the beat! This man needs to go viral! read more

We had ET's amazing help for our wedding and from the beginning, he was friendly and very accommodating. He worked with us on every aspect of our wedding from ceremony to reception to make it feel like it was uniquely ours and was eager to play all the specific songs we requested. While we couldn't enjoy his dance floor mixes as much as we had wanted as we were spending time with our guests, it seemed like many of our friends and family did so we were pleased with that. We definitely recommend checking out his services for your own special occasion! read more

ET was the DJ at our wedding reception at the Terrace Room in Oakland and did a fantastic job! He was professional and well prepared leading up to the big event all and all our guest loved him. We are very happy he was our DJ and highly recommend him for all types of events. He'll go the extra mile to make your event special! read more

We had the absolute privilege of E.T. DJing our wedding at the Terrace Room a few weeks ago. E.T. Is incredibly professional, and truly helped us feel extra prepared for our big day by having a couple of prep meetings, sharing previous experiences and overall putting us at ease. It was clear from the start that E.T. would be incredibly flexible in what we wanted our music/vibe to be, and he did better than either of us could've imagined. I'm still getting texts week later of how much fun folks had, and how excellent the music was. The dance floor was not empty for a moment once the music started! If you're looking for a DJ for an upcoming event or wedding, I cannot recommend DJ E.T. enough. Awesome DJ, and overall awesome guy. read more

DJ E.T. was absolutely wonderful in every way for our wedding. Great communication and he really took the time to understand our music tastes. Dancing was a major focus for us, and our dance floor was never empty. As the bride, I actually never left the dance floor myself!! Could not recommend DJ E.T. more! read more

Highly recommend DJ E.T. for his professionalism, understanding of the wedding scene, and guidance for Bride & Groom! I found DJ E.T. via YELP in early 2020. We had a great intro call, and booked him for our Oct 2020 wedding. When we had to postpone due the pandemic, E.T. was super flexible and as we worked through the new 2021 logistics, he was right there with us. When the time finally came to start planning the music for the big day, E.T. was very organized with Google docs & Video calls so that we were feeling really confident in his services, experience, and professionalism. On our wedding day, DJ E.T. kept the dance floor filled all night. Whether he was playing songs off our google docs, crowd favorites, or requests from our guests - the night was a big hit. Will be recommending DJ E.T. to anyone looking for a DJ/music services! read more

A friend recommended E.T. to be our wedding DJ and from the very beginning he was fantastic to work with. We reviewed the schedule, some example songs for different sections of the event, and he just ran with it. I knew he would be a great DJ based on the friend who recommended him but didn't expect him to be such a fun and charismatic MC. He really helped the whole event go smoothly and managed to keep us all on the dance floor till the venue closed. What more can you ask for? We will definitely be recommending E.T. for any events we have in the future. Like other reviewers said, he is a total pro and a joy to have around. BOOK THIS MAN! read more

We LOVE DJ E.T.!!! Communication was great from the time we booked with him. We had a phone chat and he was so receptive of our requests. When we decided to have him at our wedding, he sent us a shared doc to go over our requests and timeline. We were really pressed for time during our wedding and DJ E.T. was able to play all the important songs we really wanted. He did come up to us to make sure we were ok to omit some songs before ending the night. He was perfectly in synced with our schedule. DJ E.T. was very easy to work with. He didn't have an ego like other DJs we heard from our friends, where they feel like they have to do their own thing. He was awesome at getting the dance floor filled an giving instructions to our guests for certain events. We highly recommend DJ E.T.! Our wedding was so lit! read more

DJ E.T. is an incredible and fun DJ who made sure that guests were having a blast on the dance floor. He was very attentive to the details and gave us suggestions on how to make even the seemingly small parts of the wedding memorable. His playlists were awesome, and he was able to integrate all of the songs we wanted to play as well to the collection. There wasn't a moment during which the dance floor was empty! Thanks so much again for DJ'ing and MC'ing our special day! read more

Best decision of the wedding was hiring DJ ET! He is an awesome genuine individual who is passionate about his job and it shows in his execution. He delivered on everything we asked for - and was extremely diligent with detail and collaborating with our other vendors. I really appreciated his level of professionalism- wearing a suit to our wedding, it made the whole event that much classier. He recommended a sit down get together prior to the meeting which ended up being extremely helpful and established a familiarity/comfort level for the big day. I greatly appreciated his recommendation to give him the signal/eye look during our first dance if we wanted to end our first dance short, which we did because it's a long time out there with people staring at you! I also appreciate his recommendations for a timeline which we were able to build off of when talking with our photographer. The most important thing he did was keep the energy and vibe up. I was delighted to hear some of the songs I picked out during dinner as well as staying in theme and reading the dance floor after dinner. I literally danced to every song and had a blast! His setup is fantastic too because it's white and changes colors for different effects on the dance floor. One impromptu thing that happened was one of my cousins grabbed a microphone from the dinner table and lead us in a lip sync performance - it was amazing and brought everyone together on the floor. Thank you DJ ET!!!! read more

E.T. is hands down the best DJ around, if I could give him 10 stars I would. He served as both DJ and emcee for our wedding and knocked both out of the park! Prior to our event he was incredibly on top of everything, made us feel at ease, and was genuinely just delightful and positive throughout. Once our reception started, the dance floor was packed the entire time and I think that was in large part because of E.T.'s preternatural ability to read the vibes of the crowd and play exactly what we all wanted to hear. You will absolutely not regret working with E.T., I can't recommend him highly enough! read more

DJ. E.T. was the perfect choice for our wedding!! He was so professional and had such good vibes through the whole process. Met with us in person to talk through our song requests, special dances, and speeches, and followed up to check in when we were making game-time decisions about a couple of songs. Super organized and you can tell he's experienced in his role and knows what kinds of weird chaos weddings can throw your way; seemed like he'd seen it all and had a plan for everything. He was an excellent emcee and kept the party going right up until closing time! A couple things that stand out to me that I really appreciated were his willingness to schedule a walkthrough of our venue on his own to check out the sound system and make sure everything was compatible and offering us a hometown discount since our wedding was taking place in Oakland. Thanks for everything, E.T.! In the words of one of our esteemed wedding guests, "I've never been to a lit wedding before. Your wedding is LIT." read more

My wife and I booked E.T. for our wedding by recommendation from our planner, and are so glad we did. He was fun and easy to work with during the planning stages, and helped us think through and provided guidance for key moments throughout the afternoon and evening while also making sure he understood the structure and vibe we wanted. His thoroughness and attention to detail really show he knows his way around a wedding. E.T. made the trip down to Los Angeles for our wedding, and in the process, gave us an incredible wedding experience that we won't soon forget! My husband and I aren't exactly what you'd call music buffs - we mostly listen to show tunes and podcasts - but E.T. was still able to figure out exactly the kind of vibe that we wanted and consistently delivered all night long. He also makes for an excellent emcee, guiding our reception with the right balance of gravitas and playfulness! We've had so many compliments since our wedding on how well E.T. kept the party moving until the end of the night. When it comes to reading the energy of the room, E.T. has the magic touch! E.T. is just incredible!! He DJed my wedding this past March at the Brazil Rm in Tilden Park and was a complete professional during the entire process. Our meetings together were easy-going and very productive - exactly what you want when you're in the throes of wedding planning! E.T. is a fabulous listener and was able to take our limited music knowledge and expand on our taste to create perfect playlists for the evening. What really set E.T. apart was how he handled the unexpected. Basically, our planner/caterer dropped the ball on many occasions (showed up to our rehearsal dinner 2 hours late, didn't order the photobooth we arranged to have, etc) and throughout each snafu, ET was the voice of reason. Not only did he reassure me many times that things would be okay, he swooped in and took over when necessary. He was so good at MCing and keeping the momentum of the evening that our guests were none the wiser! Anybody would be lucky to have E.T. DJ their event! I will definitely be using him again in the future! read more

DJ E.T. - DJs Near Me

If you need a DJ in the Bay Area, DJ E.T. is the way to go! Hiring a DJ was the last major vendor we had to hire and through word of mouth did I hear about how amazing DJ E.T. was. I got in touch with him and he responded promptly with next steps and luckily he was available for our wedding date in August at the Brazilian Room. Leading up to our wedding, we had a couple of meetings with him to go over setup, music, his role and the overall flow of the reception/ceremony. These meetings were made easy because he was very kind and knowledgable, making us feel like we were in good hands. My husband and I have very different music taste and were indecisive on a few aspects of the wedding and he was very accommodating to our styles and guided us through some decision making. The day of the wedding was awesome. DJ E.T. went above and beyond his DJ duties taking on aspects of hosting and coordinator roles. He was very communicative with the rest of the vendors we hired and helped make the event run smoothly. He worked with us as there were some changes we made on the fly too without any hesitation or ego. He really helped alleviate any stress or pressure we had going into the ceremony/reception that it gave us the opportunity to really enjoy our wedding day. The dance floor was lit! Dancing was an important part of the reception for me and I had a blast dancing to the songs he was playing. Friends at the wedding were saying how awesome the DJ was and I couldn't agree more. I highly recommend using DJ E.T. for your upcoming event! read more

DJ ET helped create a phenomenal wedding experience for us. Highly engaged, professional, and supportive. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

E.T was our DJ and MC for our wedding day and was easily one of our favorite vendors. We, unfortunately, had to postpone our original date due to Covid, yet ET was more than accommodating and understanding of the situation, something other vendors were not as kind about. Always available and one of the best DJ personalities we have ever seen or heard, ET was someone we talked about time and time again about how lucky we were to book him. We hope this review helps others realize what a gem ET is! read more

DJ ET is the best. We have been to several of his DJ nights at Ryan's Pub and asked him to do our wedding last weekend. We couldnt have been more pleased. He was professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He kept the dance floor going it and his booth and lights looked amazing in person and in the pictures. He was even able to accommodate a special lighting requests for us which really made our night. We highly recommend him. Thanks DJ ET! read more

We are almost 2 months out from our wedding (11/10/18) and my wife and I are still glowing from memories of the day! Huge thanks to DJ ET for making it one that is hard to forget! Some of the many things are appreciated about him: Professionalism:  DJ ET was incredibly thorough, organized and punctual. He facilitated at least 3 meetings with us prior to our big day and honestly kept us on track (we almost forgot to send him our agenda/songs for the dinner & evening but he remained calm and flexible despite our near misses) We DIY'ed our wedding (from decorations to coordination) and DJ's wealth of experience and knowledge helped us in many ways -- particularly re: wedding etiquette. We benefited from his insight into how to manage the limited time with our guests for the evening (e.g. time spent visiting tables during dinner) while ensuring everyone had a good time. Poise: No wedding goes according to plan but DJ ET managed unexpected changes during our night with calm and ease (we had unscheduled speakers during dinner & missed our sparkler exit) but he managed to pivot both instances without any awkward exchanges. Performance: Last but not least the music! We labored to find the right playlist for our guests and DJ ET knew exactly what songs to play to get everyone on the dance floor (andI mean EVERYONE was on the dance floor -- people we did not expect haha) We are still laughing and reliving some epic moments that came from DJ ET reading the crowd/responding to guest requests that made our wedding truly memorable. We HIGHLY recommend him! Thank you so much DJ! read more

CONGRATULATIONS! You just found the yelp page of the DJ you need to hire. First of all, E.T. has amazing taste. At my wedding, about eight separate people came up to me and exclaimed things like "this DJ is amazing!" Our wedding planner who's been to hundreds of weddings marveled, "I've never seen a crowd dance this much!" E.T. knows what he's doing, he asks you thoughtful questions beforehand so that he's hand-tailoring the music to any special requirements you may have and then he's just incredibly intuitive and smart, listening to the crowd and then playing amazing track after amazing track. He is a true talent--I know if he can do the complicated ins and outs of MCing a wedding all night, you can trust him with any event. E.T. did the sound design for our ceremony and also MC'ed our reception (he's smart and positive but never for a moment hack or cheesy). He gave us some really helpful tips about the flow of our ceremony when we met with him in addition to just talking about music. THANK YOU AGAIN E.T.! read more

Working with E.T. for our wedding was honestly the best vendor decision we made when planning our wedding! E.T. was EXTREMELY helpful and professional throughout the entire process, even months in advance. The thought of planning the music was something that always had given me anxiety before, but E.T. made it a simple and relaxing process by assuring us that he knows EXACTLY what he's doing. He was awesome about setting up meetings with us to discuss our musical desires (and let's be honest, to help calm our anxieties). He asks thoughtful questions that really get at the root of what YOU want for YOUR wedding. His wealth of knowledge and experience as a DJ extend MUCH farther than "just" music -- he's an expert on the flow of a wedding, and was able to provide us with a lot of insight and considerations that we had not even thought of in the process of planning our wedding. He was a true partner in making our wedding the best and most fun that it could be!! On the night of, we were THRILLED with the music and the vibe on the dance floor. E.T. took our mish-mash of musical tastes and made it something truly wonderful. Our guests had a fabulous time getting their groove on! A fun tidbit-- one of my friends has been to 30 weddings and she said that E.T. is the **BEST DJ** she has ever encountered. We would ABSOLUTELY have to agree!! (In fact, multiple of our guests complimented us on our choice of DJ throughout the evening! We couldn't have had better -- E.T. is the best!!) Thank you so much E.T., for everything! DJ E.T. is awesome! He DJ-ed our wedding at the SF Asian Art Museum a few weeks ago. We found DJET on Yelp, and we are so very glad we did. We were married on 10-23-2021 from a postponed wedding during covid in June 2020. We hired him before covid and he stayed with us the whole year in a half later. From the get-go, he was professional and organized. We went to a club where he DJ'd in San Leandro to see how he was with the crowd. They loved him and we decided he was the one for us. Fast forward to the big day. We gave him a few songs and mostly the genre of music we wanted. We knew we were hiring a professional, and wanted him to just roll with it. He did!!! He got all of the people who dance on the dance floor, and even ones who don't to my surprise. Nice job ET. I had many people call and text after the wedding telling me that was the funniest wedding they had been to in a long time and the music was great. As the bride, I have very fond memories of the day. DJ, Sound Engineer, MC. Is there anything ET can't do? Saying he DJed our wedding would be an understatement. We had a 3 day affair and he was on point for pretty much 18 hours each day. E.T. Hazzard (aka DJ Dangerous Alien) did an incredible job DJ'ing our wedding, which took place about a month ago, at the Brazil Room in Berkeley. We found E.T. through Yelp, and were impressed by his reviews, which frequently mentioned E.T.'s skills at being master of ceremonies, and keeping people on the dance floor throughout the night -- which was one of our top priorities for our wedding. We had also gotten quotes back from numerous Bay Area DJ's, and many of them were $2K or higher, which was a bit over our budget. We met with E.T. twice in person -- first to meet him and get a sense of whether we wanted to hire him, and then again before the wedding, so we could discuss the wedding day timeline and make sure we ironed out any remaining details. We also exchanged numerous emails and videochatted with him once as well. E.T. was very professional, laid-back, and easy to talk to and work with. He had us fill out a questionnaire before our second in-person meeting, so we could describe our music style, and list specific songs or genres that we wanted played (or not) at the wedding. He shared some sample playlists with us on Spotify so we could pick our favorites for the cocktail hour/dinner and then the dance floor. These were very helpful to work off of, and we ended up creating new playlists (including additional songs we liked) that we shared back with him, which seemed to work well. DJ E.T. did a great job mc'ing the wedding ceremony and the reception. One of our shuttle buses arrived a little late, but he made sure everything else ran seamlessly and according to schedule. Our friends and family were able to clearly hear our vows, and E.T. ensured all our guests transitioned quickly from cocktail hour to the dinner table, so we could do our entrances and do our first dance before the dinner buffet lines started up. Most importantly, DJ E.T. did a phenomenal job getting people out on the dance floor, and keeping them there for the rest of the evening. Even though there was a cigar break out on the patio in the middle of the night, the dance floor stayed strong all night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding day, and would hire DJ E.T. again in a heartbeat. read more
